sitting watching the lightning, listening to the thunder. sitting enjoying the earth sing.

sitting wishing i had someone to sit with, enjoying the earth crack and rumble together in the night.

but no thoughts like these after 10pm are ever good.

I think the best thing I’ve ever done for my mind is literally just be like “idk man they’re just weird people” and move on w my life without psychoanalyzing…….. like I literally think I just rewired my brain w a single sentence

btw you will miss this in 5 or 10 years. memory will smooth these circumstances down like a river stone, and you will find yourself longing for a shade of light or a moment of this particular innocence. you don't know about what happens next, and one day that will be the most alluring thing of all. don't leave it all for nostalgia. have a nice night now, whatever night it happens to be.
