Something that was highly requested on my 100 follower poll was my sketches! But this is what most of them look like, I've been focusing on body shapes and dynamic posing for a while and use Line of Action (website) to practice forms and different bodies and shapes!
In the future I'm working on diversifying my character designs and faces/facial features! And of course continuing to work on posing muscles and fat! (I got morpho fat and folds that I'm reading and working through too!)

A note about Transgender Day of Rememberance
Some of you might know every year I try to say something about this day because it’s always been important to me. But to be completely honest, this year I’ve been struggling to come up with the right words...
I’ve been feeling hopeless some days; that the statistics for this day keep rising as we lose more friends and family. Depressed, seeing the way the world is now and the direction it seems to be going. And angry at the politics that keep driving that number up year after year as people in our queer community continue to lose trust that things will be okay.
So while I’m here acknowledge this day of Rememberance and who we’ve lost. I also want to acknowledge all the friends I’ve made in this community. It makes me hopeful to have this space to be a part of. And I’m proud to know all of you.
Being resilient at this point in time and history isn’t easy or forgiving right now. But seeing you all be your authentic and resilient selves gives me confidence that our community won’t just sit down and take the bad that might come our way.
All that being said I really just wanted to say thank you for being here. Stay safe and look out for each other. Check in with your friends today, see how they’re really doing, and keep up the good fight.
With love,
EV

Bigfoot Mama - CYOA
(This story is special! It was written with help from my Patrons, Choose Your Own Adventure style! At the end of each piece, I'd present a poll with a few choices for what our characters should do next. The most popular vote would be what happened next. It was really fun, and ended up making a really cute little story, I think! I'm going to try to do another one for December, so please come join us over there if you'd like to have a say in the next story!)

"I don't think we should be doing this." "Are you kidding me? This was your idea."
Kate rolled her eyes as she continued down the trail, the flashlight on her phone trained on the path ahead of her and her journal held tight in the other hand. She didn't really need the light as it was just barely dusk, but it made her feel better. Plus, what if she saw something she needed to write down? What kind of cryptobiologist would she be if she didn't write or sketch what she found??
"You're telling me you want to just leave those noises alone? And stay at the campsite?"
"Yes!" Blair threw her hands in the air, trudging behind Kate. However, once she fell a few steps behind, she quickly increased her pace and all but snuggled up behind her friend, looking around with wide eyes and clutching her trusty camera to her chest.
As they approached a small grove of trees, the noises started up again, deep, guttural huffing and puffing and then a couple loud growly groans. Blair whimpered, and Kate broke into a grin. "There! They've gotta be just ahead!"
Kate jogged ahead, then stopped as the path broke into a clear fork.
One branch headed deeper into the trees, and it was clear that was where the noises were coming from.
The other branch headed downhill a little bit, and Kate thought she might be able to hear and smell some kind of water. A river, or a spring maybe?
Blair all but ran into Kate's side, clutching onto her arm with one hand. "C'mon, Kate, this is ridiculous."
"It is not. Now come on."
Grabbing the trembling Blair by the elbow, Kate pulled her down the fork toward the sounds.
As the two stumbled down the path, Blair began to notice that things were looking a little rougher around them. Branches were broken, the bushes tramped down, and the dirt was roughed up, like claws or something big had been dragged through them.
"Kaaaate. Kate. I'm serious, we could be getting into dangerous territory here."
"That's what we came out here for! Now shush!" Kate hissed, stumbling to a stop and craning her neck to listen.
The huffing was still going, labored breathing that sounded almost pained. Then, a hitch in the breath- and a deep, rumbling groan bounced through the trees. Whatever it was, it sounded like it was just over the hill.
Slowly, Kate let go of Blair's elbow and took a few steps up the hillside, then lowered herself down to peek over the edge.
"Holy shit." She whispered, and Blair whimpered, hanging back and fiddling with her camera strap.
"What is it??"
"Come up here and see!"
With slightly trembling hands, Blair raised her camera up underneath her chin, finger hovering above the shutter, as she began making her way up the hillside.
Kate almost paid no attention to her as she stepped up next to her, eyes locked on whatever was over the hill.
When Blair finally saw what was on the other side, she was so stunned she almost forgot to press the shutter button, her jaw dropping open and heart leaping into her mouth.
It was leaning against a tree, profile facing toward the girls. It had its knees raised and pulled toward its chest, and the dark hair covering the body seemed matted and damp with sweat. The face of the creature appeared to grimace, baring sharp teeth, as it shifted and dug its heels into the soft dirt beneath it. The most stunning part, though, was the creature's big belly, rounding out between the thighs.
"Bigfoot." Blair finally whispered, her voice trembling. "Th-That's a bigfoot."
"Shh. Do you wanna scare it?!" Kate whispered back, staying stone still otherwise.
Together, the two watched as the bigfoot tried to catch her breath, her chest heaving and nostrils flaring wide. It was only a moment before the creature shifted, pressing her gigantic palms down against the ground and curling forward around her belly. That same low, deep growl rumbled through the area again, and all of a sudden Blair realized what was really going on.
"Kate. Kate, she's...having a baby!"
"Yeah no shit! Now seriously, shuttup! She might get angry if she sees we're here!"
With a grunt, the bigfoot released her push, and Blair watched in awe as she reached down between her spread knees. She couldn't see anything from where they were sitting (almost thankfully), but it was really obvious now what was going on.
Swallowing back the lump in her throat, Blair slowly lowered herself down to perch next to Katie, hoping the bigfoot wouldn't see her movement. When she was safely down, she grabbed Katie's shoulder and snuggled close, peeking over at her notebook.
Sure enough, Katie had been scribbling some notes, and done one crude sketch of the bigfoot mother. Her notes were all over the place, some sliding down the edge of the page, due to the fading light and the fact that Katie seemed not to want to take her eyes off of the creature.
The cryptid in front of them was still breathing heavily, resting back against the tree. Both of the young women watching startled in surprise as she suddenly moved, though, growling and pushing herself upright and onto her feet. Lifting her heels and bracing herself against the tree (which creaked and groaned under her weight), the bigfoot dropped herself into a deep squat, round belly hanging between her thighs.
"Whoa..." Kate whispered, pen finally still in her fingers.
"Oh my god-" Blair whispered right on top of her, almost shyly looking away and down at her camera. Without thinking, she pressed her finger on the shutter button, holding it down for a burst of pictures.
The rapid clicking of the shutter melted into the background as the bigfoot growled again, reaching down beneath her belly as she pushed. Liquid pattered onto the leaves below her, and she huffed a deep, vocalized breath at the end of her effort.
"Blair. Blair, turn on your flash. We need to see."
"What?!" Blair lifted her eyes and looked at Katie as if she were crazy. "Are you crazy??"
"What if something's wrong?? We need to see what's going on, the sun is going down too fast!"
"She's not gonna take kindly to us flashing a camera in her face!"
"Just do it!"
Trying to calm her racing heartbeat, Blair thought a moment. Maybe it would be better if they could see something. What if something was going wrong? She couldn't tell by looking at her camera what was happening, or even if any of the pictures she was taking were coming out.
Slowly, with a practiced motion, she slid her thumb along the camera's smooth edge and clicked on the flash. Raising the camera, she braced her elbows on the ground and pressed the shutter, just once.
The camera flashed brightly, illuminating the scene in front of them. There was the Bigfoot, crouched in a deep squat with one hand braced on the tree behind her and the other hand reaching down beneath her belly, which hung low and round between her thighs.
What the girls saw, though, made Kate gasp out loud, and made Blair's jaw drop.
The Bigfoot mama was crowning, the baby's head bulging huge and round out of her.
The light flashing from over the hill made the cryptid snap her head to attention, and she roared and bared her teeth, trying to push herself up a little bit further. She lunged, and it was unclear whether she was trying to come for the girls or run away. She didn't make it far, though, instead crashing to her hands and knees. Bowing her head, the bigfoot panted a few deep breaths, then roared loudly again, forcefully enough to feel like it was shaking the trees around them.
"Oh my god. Oh my god she sees us. What do we do? What do we do?" Blair whimpered, her finger flinching against the shutter button of her camera.
"It's okay, it's okay, she's not gonna come this way. She's busy, right?" Kate grabbed at Blair's shoulder, the shake in her voice betraying her nerves.
"She knows we're here, there's nothing stopping her from attacking us when she's between contractions!" Blair looked over at Kate and then back toward the dark mass of the mama bigfoot, now panting, groaning, and rocking back and forth in her spot beneath the trees. She could hear more liquid pattering onto the leaves, and sticks and twigs snapping as the cryptid fitfully shifted her weight.
With slightly shaking hands, Blair lowered her camera, pursing her lips and blowing out a breath.
"We need to get closer."
"Oh now who's the crazy one?!" Kate hissed, and Blair looked at her.
"Look, she's completely distracted now. It's our only chance to be able to see her clearly."
Kate frowned and looked at the laboring cryptid, still rocking back and forth underneath the big tree, and she cursed under her breath.
"Fuck it. Fine."
The two girls grabbed hands and slowly got to their feet, then began moving down the hill toward the bottom. The two of them skidded on dirt and rocks a couple times, but made it unscathed to the base of the hill, much closer to where the bigfoot sat.
When Blair looked up, she was shocked to see the bigfoot staring straight at them both, chest and shoulders moving as she panted for breath. She was huge, much bigger than Blair had thought, but coming this close...her eyes looked so soft.
Slowly, Blair let go of Kate's hand, then just plopped to the ground on her butt, crossing her legs. Kate looked down at her with a confused expression. "Uh-"
"Show her we're not going to hurt her." Blair mumbled, raising her hands and showing that they're empty.
Understanding crossing her face, Kate quickly followed suit and sat on the ground, holding out her journal and pen. "It's not gonna hurt you! It's just paper. A-And that's just a camera! It takes photos!"
"She doesn't know what photos are, Kate." Blair whispered, but when the bigfoot seems to nod and look down at the ground in concentration, she blinked in surprise.
"I...don't think she's bothered by us. I think she's just...busy." Kate whispered after a moment, watching as the massive cryptid shifted and rested down onto her elbows, belly hanging low as she rocked back and forth.
"Yeah, I guess-"
Both of them were cut off by a deep groan coming from the bigfoot, and they fell quiet, just watching her as she bowed her head and began pushing again.
More liquid pattered onto the leaves, and if Blair squinted, she swore she could see more of a bulge peeking from between the bigfoot's thighs.
Blair and Kate both looked at each other as the bigfoot's groan reverberated through the clearing. Even in the dark, the two seemed to reach a quiet understanding.
Kate moved first, setting her notebook aside and tucking her pen behind her ear. She uncrossed her legs, then rocked herself up onto her knees, leaves and twigs shuffling as she began scooting closer to the cryptid. On the other hand, Blair first flailed her camera, then managed to press a palm to the ground and push herself up onto her feet, following Kate in a semi-crouched squat.
The two of them moved close enough to the bigfoot that they could feel the heat radiating off of her, and much, much more clearly smell the damp musk of her fur. As she let go of her push, the bigfoot gave a deep grunt, then fell into ragged, panting breaths, shifting her knees underneath her and rocking her hips side to side.
Then, she opened her eyes, turning her head and looking right at Blair and Kate. Her eyes shone in the darkness, and she growled, curling her lip and baring her teeth. Blair whimpered and stopped, but Kate didn't, stretching out a slightly shaking palm toward the creature.
"It's okay. We wanna help..." She murmured, keeping her voice low.
The bigfoot huffed a deep, chuffing breath at Kate, then her eyes fluttered shut and she let out a deep growl, jaw dropping and showing off her massive set of teeth as her belly visibly contracted.
Both girls could hear liquid splashing onto the leaves, and without thinking, Blair moved toward the back end of the cryptid, lifting her camera, clicking the flash with her thumb, and pressing the shutter halfway down.
In the flash of the camera light, this time lingering on as if for a test shot, Blair could clearly see the top half of the baby bigfoot's head slowly emerging. It had a cute squished nose, and, obviously, was covered in dark hair. As the mother let go of her push, her belly pulsed, and the baby's head slipped back inside just a bit. When she pushed again, liquid escaped from around the baby's ears, and a tiny bit more of the head slipped forward.
Jaw dropped, Blair fully pressed the shutter button down to take the picture, then looked up at where she thought Kate to be, her eyes foggy from the light.
"The head's almost out."
As if acting on instinct, and not letting her thoughts get ahead of her, Blair shifted her camera to one hand, pressing down the shutter button like she had before. As soon as the scene illuminated, she reached out her other hand and cupped the top of the baby bigfoot's head.
The mother flinched, but didn't react otherwise, huffing a few loud breaths before obviously bearing down again. Blair slid her hand to the side and pressed very lightly with the pads of he fingers, helping first one little ear slide free, and then the other. "There ya go..." She whispered, and the bigfoot groaned, rocking forward onto her hands.
"She looks exhausted." Kate peeked around the mother's side and looked at Blair with her brow furrowed.
"Do you have your canteen? Give her some water!" Blair glanced up at Kate, then looked back at the emerging baby.
On the next push, as Kate scrambled to get her canteen out of her hip bag, Blair very gently pressed with the pads of her fingers again, and the chubby cheeks of the tiny cryptid finally emerged. The mother growled and rocked back on her heels, baring her teeth as she gave one last hard push, and with a small splash of liquid, the head finally popped free up to the neck.
"The head's out!" Blair softly cheered, pressing the button of her camera fully down to snap the picture and extinguish the flash.
Kate managed to unscrew the top of her canteen and held it out toward the bigfoot mother, pouring a bit of the water out. "Here mama. It's water, you can drink..."
Her jaw dropped as the bigfoot shifted her weight onto one hand and snatched the canteen right out of Kate's hand, lapping at the water and drinking hungrily.
Pressing the shutter halfway again, Blair illuminated the scene and leaned down a bit, peeking at the emerging baby as the mother bigfoot drank her fill from Kate's canteen.
Once she was done, the cryptid chucked the canteen away, and Kate couldn't help but laugh a little bit as she watched it soar into the dark woods. "Welp. I'll need a new one of those."
"We'll find it once the sun comes up." Blair smirked.
With a groan, the mother cryptid rocked back down onto her hands and shifted herself around a bit, huffing a few hard breaths through her nose and then stilling. Kate watched, her eyes moving from the mother's face down to her low-hanging belly, covered in brown fur shadowed oddly from Blair's flash.
Moving slowly, Kate slowly scooted forward, then reached out a hand. Carefully, she laid her hand on the bigfoot's side, on the swell of her belly, and her eyes flickered up to her face to gauge her reaction. The mother seemed to be trying to catch her breath, the contractions giving her a reprieve. At Kate's touch, she flinched, but didn't move away otherwise.
Slowly, Kate scooted a little closer and began to massage her belly, first on the side and then reaching her arm underneath the bigfoot's body to stroke further toward the middle. Her fur was coarse, damp with sweat, and her body absolutely radiated heat, enough that Kate immediately felt uncomfortable when she got close. She could feel it on her face and neck.
When she reached underneath, fingers pressing almost against where her navel should be, the cryptid growled, a deep rumbling sound. Even without looking, Kate could tell her teeth were likely bared. Swallowing, she tried to pull away, but her hand rubbing against her belly was too much for the cryptid.
With one movement, the Bigfoot sat up on her knees and lashed out with one hand, pushing Kate back hard. Kate cried out as she lurched backward, her elbow striking a rock jutting out from the hill face and a jolt going up her body as she crashed onto her backside.
"Kate!" Blair called out, trying to peek around the bulk of the bigfoot's body and tilting her camera.
"No, I'm fine!! I'm good, stay with her!" Kate called back, gripping her elbow and holding her arms tight around her body.
As Blair tried to get up, the Bigfoot loudly groaned and sank back against her heels, beginning to push again. Blair's jaw dropped in concern and awe as she watched the baby lurch out, then slip back in, small glimpses of the shoulders illuminated by the flash.
"Are you sure??" Blair called back over the cryptid's loud groaning. Her free hand darted out to cradle the baby's emerging shoulders even as she asked, knowing she needed to stay here.
"I'm fine!" Kate called back, and it was true. She'd jammed her elbow pretty good, but it was nothing she couldn't handle. This was once in a lifetime stuff, and she'd be damned if either of them were going to miss this incredible moment.
The bigfoot mother panted roughly for breath, then growled as she sank into another push, leaning back onto her heels. Blair quickly pressed the shutter fully down to take a photo, then released the button and pushed it down halfway again, careful not to move too much otherwise.
She felt liquid splashing over her hand before she got the shutter down, and a soft but heavy weight all but fell into her hand. When the light came back on, she found the bigfoot baby's shoulder and neck in her hand, their arm sliding out shortly afterward. She gasped loudly without realizing, but luckily the noise was covered by the mother huffing out a loud breath and groaning as she rocked forward onto her hands again.
With that movement, her belly lurched, and the baby slid out all the way up to its hips. Squeaking in surprise, Blair pushed down the shutter, then let her camera go and let her other hand shoot out to catch the baby as it came fully sliding out of the mother.
Almost immediately there was a loud grumbly roar of relief and effort, and Blair, eyes not used to the darkness yet, felt not just the baby beginning to wake up and squirm in her hands, but heard the sound of shifting leaves and felt a much, much bigger hand grasping for the child.
Quickly (if a little awkwardly) she passed the baby over to the new mother, willing herself not to drop it or jostle it too much. With a cough, the baby let out a shrill, high-pitched little cry, and the mother made a chuffing sound in response as she easily took the little one from Blair.
As soon as her hands were free, Blair scrambled to grab her camera (forcing herself to ignore the gunk all over her hands) and backed away, blinking rapidly as she tried to adjust. Finally, she sank to her knees next to Kate, panting and holding her camera close to her chest.
Kate grabbed her arm with her free hand, whispering hoarsely. "Quick. Take one more."
"What??"
"One more picture before we get out of here. Come on."
Understanding, Blair quickly lifted her camera and pressed down the shutter button.
-
Looking back at all the photos once they returned to civilization made the two girls realize exactly the miracle they'd been a part of. Sitting in the urgent care waiting for someone to take a look at Kate's arm, the two huddled together, peering down at the camera screen while Blair slowly scrolled through the photos.
Strangely enough, while they had been scared in the moment, unsure what to do, or what to do next...what they saw looking back through the photos was nothing but happiness, the start of a family that they were lucky to have been witness to.
Nothing showed that more than the last photo, the mother bigfoot holding her baby close to her chest and nuzzling her face against them. It was oddly human, and oddly beautiful.
Both girls agreed to not tell anybody about what they'd seen, opting to keep the photos for themselves.
Some things...you needed to protect rather than share.
