Hello, Evangeline. :) Thank you, I hope that you are in good health as well.
Unfortunately, no, I don’t do house calls, but you can feel free to visit me at the Nightingale Hospital if you need any help. And there’s no need to worry about crossing boundaries; it’s good to be open about things :)
You should stay mindful of your hygiene, though — you wouldn’t want to be getting any untimely infections or afflicted with other illnesses, right? Though I’m unable to be as present around my patients as I can be at the asylum, you can book an appointment with me, if you’d like. I’m here to help. ^^

Have you heard of fear and hunger? seems up your alley for being generally psychotic, and they have a doctor character you can play that doesn't have a degree either! you n dann r twins minus the molestshire influence
No, I don’t believe I’ve heard of it before. I’m not familiar with too many games. I did do a quick search on some information on it, though, and I admit its premise does seem interesting. The horror genre’s always been something that.. draws me in, somewhat. :)
Though, I’m not sure what you mean about ‘being generally psychotic’? And as for the degree, could I ask what gave you that impression..? I can assure you that I do have a medical degree — I am a qualified doctor.
Regardless, thank you for the game suggestion.

[[SORRY I TOOK SO LONG djshjs hopefully this is a good starter]]
The first thing Pipsqueak notices when they come to, is the smell of disinfectant. They let out a quiet groan as their eyes creak open, squinting against the almost fucking blinding florescent lights.
Where...?
They grimace as their eyes take a few moments to adjust, before briefly scanning the room. Curtains were pulled closed on the window to their side, and they couldn't find the clock to judge the time... The walls were painted with a shade of white, adorned with... well. Not much, really. A couple of plugs and switches, mainly, some of which were in use with cords leading to the machines beeping at their side-
Oh.
The hospital.
Bits and pieces of memories threaten to show their ugly ugly heads as Pipsqueak props themself up with a hiss, only now noticing the dull, aching pain all throughout their body. It's worse in their lower regions. They... don't- they don't want to think about it, yet. They wonder when the doctor will get here, they haven't seen them since.... They cut their thoughts off, instead opting to ball up the blanket in their fists, hoping to stop the shaking. Fuck, stop shaking.
The sound of approaching footsteps gradually draw nearer to the door, and it slides open. Harper was there, holding his clipboard as usual — it seemed that the doctor wasn’t accompanied by anyone today. He walks into the room, being sure to close the door behind him. Glancing over at Pipsqueak and seeing that they’re awake, he acknowledges them with a nod.
“You’d been brought here in a rather.. concerning state,” Harper begins, sitting himself down on one of those rolling stools and positioning it beside the bed they laid on. He doesn’t bring up anything about how their last session went. Not yet, at least. If anything, it appears as if the doctor wasn’t bothered by the way their last interaction had went, or even forgot about it altogether.
“Now, I’ll need to ask you a few questions regarding it, if you don’t mind.” he says, adjusting his glasses. The usual interrogation; although his wording makes it sound like there’s a possibility to refuse getting questioned, it’s clear that whether one truly minds or not doesn’t quite matter.

[“Oh, bees,” he nods, while Lettie sits herself down. “They would be beneficial to the temple’s gardens. It sounds like a lot of work to care for a hive, though.”]
[The doctor gets up from his swivel seat to approach her, lifting the bandaged leg with a short hum. If there’s anything that Harper wouldn’t pass up, it would be the opportunity to be able to closely examine the things that interest or intrigue him. The complexities of the mind, nonhuman beings, or certain individuals — those sorts of things. Lettie happens to fall under the latter two. An interesting thing, she is. Harper’s never seen anything like her before, and he still wonders just how exactly she works. Hopefully, in time, he’ll be able to satisfy these curiosities..]
[Harper undoes the bandaging and inspects the aforementioned injury. “I doubt it would have to come to amputation,” he replies calmly, “It doesn’t seem to be anything serious. Just avoid getting any dirt into it, and make sure to change the dressing regularly to prevent infection. Try to minimise how much weight you’re putting on it.”]
((Turns out the ask I sent was an excuse to maybe attempt to start one of those 3rd person RP things,, Feel free to answer this whenever you want or Not To idk hknjkjn ~ @heavensentofficial ))
[In spite of how she generally tried to make it appear, Lettie wasn't exactly... Thrilled to be here any more than she already needed to be. For various reasons. Allowing a perpetually shaking, sleep deprived mess of a person near her with any kind of blade had certainly a lapse in judgement.]
[As she sat in the waiting room, busying herself with embroidery while she, well... Waited, she occasionally peered up - one eye kept on her surroundings. It was always interesting how people frequently seemed to come out of Doctor Hamster's office a little more 'off' than when they came in.]
[Considering this was just a simple injury rather than one of their usual appointments, Lettie quietly hoped this would be quick and simple, without much talk of other things. That maybe he'd just enjoy someone just sort of having to let him move their legs around however he wanted for a bit like a woolly, resentment-fueled doll. And also that she would get candy afterward.]
[The relatively calm and peaceful atmosphere of Nightingale Hospital was where Harper was most at home, in a sense. Of course it was — the hospital was a place he had influence and control in, a place where he could have an excuse to do things that the majority of others in the town couldn’t quite get away with on regular days. Not that Harper can completely cut loose here either, no — that’s what the asylum was for.]
[Harper’s a responsible doctor. That’s what he likes to tell himself, anyway. He simply wants the best for the townspeople, doesn’t he? He’s helping them. Like a good doctor should.]
[Harper shuffled through some unimportant papers on his desk, smiling as he bids farewell to the latest patient. Right, next up should be.. ah, another rather fascinating client.]
[“Miss Lettice?” He called, adjusting his glasses — stepping by the open door of his office with his usual calm smile.]

Hi, Doctor!! I have... A question for you... I know I've been going to our therapy sessions on Fridays but lately I haven't remembered anything we've spoken about and I'm getting sorta concerned?? I mean like. Is that normal? Or am I just going crazy...??
Ah, that’s alright. For those new to hypnotherapy, it may feel or seem a bit worrying at first to realise that you have those gaps in your memory. But rest assured that it’s a perfectly normal response — it’s a common occurrence when it comes to the type of hypnotherapy we’re doing, so you don’t have to worry about it. :)

hi doc, i think im down with a fever :( i suspect its because ive had a combing total of maybe a litre of water over the past week. youve got anything that can help with that? any tips for remebering to drink water, too?
When you have mild dehydration, I believe the best thing to do is to simply drink some water. Fruit juice or sports drinks are also good options, as they’re high in electrolytes. You could set reminders on your phone in order to make a habit of drinking regularly, or you could also add some flavour to the water using fruits to make the action itself more enjoyable.

Oh! I saw the doll anon. I have something like that, too! It doesn't really smell of anything, though. (like me if anything. Wool and all..)
I made a hamster plush for my collection and somehow I ended up giving it a little labcoat... Thus... Doctor Hamster. I'll have to introduce you two some time, I think... It would make me happy if the two halves of the whole could converge at last.
I think some people have dolls of me, too. It's just one of those things.
~ @heavensentofficial
Ah, so I assume that this is what makes you have the tendency to call me ‘Doctor Hamster’, as you’ve mentioned before? That does make me curious about the plush in question.
Are dolls of figures within the town becoming a trend?

Doctor my friends all tell me it's very weird to own a plush of someone else ( cough you) which also smells like them is there something wrong with me? I just find them very comforting
I suppose it could come off as weird to own a plush of someone else in certain situations, though it definitely isn’t something that’s unheard of. Lots of people all over sell or create their own plush dolls of other people, such as idols.
Don’t worry, I’m not weirded out by your plushie. :) Quite interested, actually. There’s nothing wrong with you for having it. For you to have a plush version of myself which brings you comfort would mean you find me as a comforting presence too, wouldn’t it? Did you make it yourself?

Ah ah, you’ve got it wrong again, Doctor. Surely you wouldn’t possibly forget your favorite patient, no? The one you’ve brought at the asylum, the reason why I ended up in that place to begin with. Who do you think is at fault here? Don’t tell me you forgot about everything, about your hand busy fisting your cock beneath the desk whenever you asked me questions. As if I wouldn’t notice. To your shaky breaths, clammy hands and hungry gaze behind those glasses. You’re not very subtle for a professional.
Do you think forgetting about your actions might erase your sins, Doctor?
[So his original assumption had been wrong, and this mysterious person actually had been a patient at the asylum before. ‘Favourite patient’, they say... honestly, it didn’t help much with uncovering the real identity of this person, because it was difficult to label anyone in particular as his favourite. Additionally, the “treatment” that he gives to people in the asylum is roughly the same. Of course, the outcomes differed from person to person. Some were quite susceptible to it, while others were able to consistently defy through sheer force of will. Somewhat admirable in its own way, but that didn’t make it any less irritating.]
[That makes it a bit of a problem for Harper, because there have been multiple people that had been subject to this sort of treatment from him. He just gets the occasional fixation on certain people from time to time — it starts with little things about them which just seem to naturally pique his interests at first. And it simply grows from there. He only indulges himself when the setting is much more... private. But even then, he still exercises restraint.]
[’You’re not very subtle for a professional,’ Harper read. He clicks his tongue. He tries to keep himself professional most of the time. He’s got a reputation to uphold, after all. As a doctor, his position makes him appear to be a figure that’s reliable, something which is rare to come across in this town. In a place that’s home to freaks of all kinds, isn’t Harper so nice for being helpful? Of course, he does have his own... predilections, so to speak — he’s only human, after all. At the end of the day, he isn’t too different from the other degenerates that live here... but maybe he’ll take this comment as something to be a bit more mindful of. He can’t go giving himself away too obviously to more people.]
[The doctor again deletes the message. He isn’t quite ‘forgetting about his sins’ — but, like most people in town, he’s simply hiding them from the public eye.]

ACHOO!!
Sorry doc, I've been feeling under the weather...
Anyways, do you wish ill on your patients so that they'll come visit you more? It's a dillema I've been thinking off 🤔 Similar to how a burglar wishes you prosperity so they can rob you.
Bless you, anon.
Now, in response to your question — no, I wouldn’t. Of course I would not wish ill health upon any of my patients! Or anyone in general, for that matter. I understand where the curiosity is coming from, though. But as much as I’m always happy to treat people when they need my help, I’m simply here to make sure that everyone stays in good condition.
If you haven’t been feeling too well lately, you can have an appointment with me.

Hello Doctor. I seem to be suffering from a persistent migraine that only seems to pop up around a certain brothel owner. I would appreciate if you could advise me in this matter, I shall leave my treatment entirely to you, please just help me feel better.
@jordan-the-pious
If you are having migraines, there are some over-the-counter drugs which can help relieve the pain. Bright light and loud noises can also worsen migraines, so those should be avoided too.
But if being around a certain person is causing these supposed ‘migraines’… ah, I see what it is. May I suggest having some direct communication with each other in person? See it as ‘exposure therapy’ of some sort. Having an open conversation may clear up some previous issues.
If you do turn up to the hospital, though, I believe I might have some.. medication for you which could work. :)

[He smiled back at her, shutting the door behind them. “Good afternoon. Please, have a seat.” Harper spoke with a nod, gesturing to two empty chairs in front of his desk as he rounded the table. The doctor’s office wasn’t large, but it wasn’t a small space, either. Some generic medical posters were along the white walls, alongside a few about the anatomy of the heart and human body.]
[Harper only seemed to remember the existence of the insects on his desk after he saw Lettie glance at them. “Ah, sorry about these. Someone had given them to me earlier.” He said, moving them away from the centre of the desk. Some of the poor things had their legs pulled off. One could wonder whether they were already that way when they were delivered, or if Harper was the one that took the bugs apart. The latter was an easily believable possibility, after all. “Do you have an interest in bugs?” He asked idly, picking up a clipboard with her patient files and history.]
[“Right, back to the point though — so, from what I remember from our messages previously, your visit today is about an injury on your hoof, right? Maybe it would be better for you to sit on the bed instead, so I can take a look at it.”]
((Turns out the ask I sent was an excuse to maybe attempt to start one of those 3rd person RP things,, Feel free to answer this whenever you want or Not To idk hknjkjn ~ @heavensentofficial ))
