Shawn Edwards Bio:

Born and raised in the vibrant music hub of Chicago, IL, Shawn Edwards embarked on his DJ journey at the young age of 13 as a mobile DJ. Demonstrating remarkable talent and entrepreneurial spirit, Shawn co-founded his own mobile DJ company, thriving for over four years before joining one of the Northwest Suburbs of Illinois' premier mobile DJ firms at 17. His early career was marked by prestigious opportunities, including demoing ESO mixers at the 2000 Atlantic City Mobile DJ Convention and serving as the DJ for WKSC FM Chicago’s Kiss FM Mobile Party Unit. Shawn's versatile performances spanned high school dances, weddings, corporate events, and high-profile concerts at iconic venues like the House of Blues Chicago.

In 2001, Shawn's career took a pivotal turn when he became the weekly resident DJ at a local nightclub. This role catapulted him into the spotlight, allowing him to perform at numerous events, concerts, and clubs across the Midwest while releasing over a dozen acclaimed mix compilations. His reputation for delivering dynamic and crowd-pleasing sets led to collaborations with Chicago's top promoters and performances at major nightclubs, lounges, bars, and events throughout the Chicagoland area and beyond.

Shawn's national acclaim includes a 22-week tour with Pepsi Smash in 2004 and a 20-week tour with VH1 Save The Music featuring Angel Faith in 2005. During this time, he opened for renowned artists and performed for hundreds of thousands nationwide.

Today, Shawn thrives in Arizona's booming music scene, bringing his extensive experience and eclectic taste to a broader audience. His performances have also graced stages and clubs in Las Vegas, Detroit, New York, Los Angeles, Milwaukee, Orlando, Miami, and numerous other cities, consistently packing dance floors with his seamless blend of Dance, Top 40, Throwbacks, House, Country, and EDM.
