Ike parried the attacks thrown at him with little to no effort. At least, was what he wished he could say. The lady was correct. It was wise of her to suggest a quick retreat. "Very well Milady. Let us make preparations." Ike, paying no mind to her coughed as he prepared his mind for a new strike. A swirl of an ethereal green surrounded Ragnell, providing some of the vigor he had lost from the hue of purple and blue that had meticulously plagued his side. Small cracks in the air didn't resonate with searing pain Ike felt, as blood flowed down his tunic leaving that dirty brown color. Ike could feel the scent of fresh blood, probably his own, burning up into the sky. Ike looked once more at the woman. With a flick of the wrist, Ike unleashed Ragnell's full potential upon the pursuers, giving off two waves of solid light to the mob that had now surrounded their route of escape, and one last wave right under their feet. A large cloud of dust crept its way into the air, giving the perfect opportunity to escape. Ike gently whispered a single word to her ear "Run."
Eirika & Ike - A Day In The Market
“Are you that…” Ike looked at the gash on her left arm. Quickly taking her free hand, Ike held her close to his side as he pulled out his spare bandages and neatly wrapped up her wound, making sure not to cut off her circulation. The density of this fog clouded his vision to about 3 feet of visibility. Ike, finished with his timely operation, looked for alterations in the fog for any hostile enemies that had could emerge on a whim, and melt back into this cursed deep fog. Not realizing he was still holding her hand, Ike’s faced churned with a deep shade of red, hidden within the various abundance colors that were painted across his face. Blue was slowly sweeping up his chest and into his arms. The poison was making its way through his blood stream, and taking the oxygen from his body. Ike’s lungs were starting to lose their vigor. Quickly tying up his arms in bandages, Ike wanted to stop the poison from progression faster, at least attempting to keep his sword arm still intact even if the rest of his body couldn’t move. Small beads of sweat rolled down his cheeks. His heartbeat rang through the silences like the beat of a drum. Ike’s heavy rasps for air were getting thicker. Picking up Ragnell, Ike gently set the young woman down and took hold of her hand. “Get behind me. I know very well that you can fight. But for now conserve your strength and stay put.” Following the faint silhouettes that the thieves carried, Ike readied his blade and went into a fixed stance. Waiting for the enemy to take the first strike.

"Ike..." Only a quick look of the blue hair, and his tan sword handing from the sheath could tell Zihark exactly who it was. "It has been quite a while."
Really? Now that I think about it, it has been a while Zihark. How have the lands been faring you lately my dear friend?

Eirika & Ike - A Day In The Market
A heavy jab dug into the upper back of the thief. Ike had stunned his body from the neck down, leaving the poor robber defenseless, laid out in an awkward sprawl across the stone floor. Wiping his hands on the sides of his cloak, Ike felt the moist cloth seep into his dry gloves, penetrating the fabric with a deep red. Taking notice of his wound, Ike quickly pulled his shirt up. Ripping a piece of the thief’s linen, Ike wrapped his waist with a strip of the black cloak with a quick tug and pull, tightening the damaged area with the utmost care. Pulling his shirt down, he turned to the direction of the woman he had met before. She was gone. A worried expression came across Ike’s face as he maneuvered himself past the smokey village square. Ike set his head down to the stone floor, clouding out all the other sounds around him, he focused on one goal. Hearing slight footsteps in the distance, Ike found his target. A second robber cloaked in the same shade of black as the others, Ike quietly followed this person into a dark narrow path. No sunlight penetrated the walls of these structures, and with the dense fog sent right behind him, Ike situated himself behind a large crate, keeping small tabs on the cloaked man. At a glance, Ike saw him brandish a large bow. Pulling an arrow from his quiver Ike noticed the man find his footing and clearing a path to his target. “But what could he possibly be shooting at?” Ike came a bit closer and peeked from around the corner. It was the girl. Caught up in her own sword fight, this archer was going to help his ally by taking her out. Ike couldn’t let that happen. With a flick of his wrist, Ike unsheathed Ragnell. In a forward stance, Ike dashed out and struck down the archer in a single upward blow. The archer fell as Ike disabled his adversary with an effortless motion. Any man could see that Ike had done this sort of thing before. Turning his head, Ike grasped his side once more and clawed at the site of pain. The swordswoman was gone.

Eirika & Ike - A Day In The Market
Eirika sighed relieved. In spite of his looks, the man didn’t seem to mind the situation and even silenced one of the strangely easy to anger villagers. She shouldn’t have passed her judgement so quickly, but all those incidents with bandits she and her brother had to resolve in the last months had made her perhaps a bit too suspecting of people with a certain look and she scolded herself for it. Eirika was glad however the situation could have been resolved so easily, after all, it would be really nice to end this trip without getting into any trouble.
In that very moment a loud noise startled everyone. Eirika hastily looked around to discover the origin of the uproar, but thick white mist narrowed her sight. Only a few seconds later she heard the vendor shout and saw the man from before sprinting off. So, had she ended up in the middle of a robbery? For a moment Eirika hesitated, the mist bothered her. And yet, this man had run off straight into it, just to catch the thief and she felt a slight pang of conscience.
The mist slowly lifted up and she caught sight of the man, who quickly (and rather brutally in her understanding) knocked out what appeared to be the thief. But there were other movements around him he seemed to be unaware of, until another cloaked attacker made an assault upon him. In spite of being wounded he began to chase his attacker; but he made a mistake. Eirika could make out at least three more cloaked figures hiding in the mist and they all stormed after him now.
It was not a question, she had to help him. Seemingly the only other armed person around, Eirika could hardly allow so many attackers to gang up against a single man. She swiftly set herself in motion, running past the stunned villagers and found herself in a narrow deserted looking side street. Catching barely a glimpse on a dark cloak turning around a corner, she quickly set after, hoping she would not be too late.
Before she followed the cloaked robber, Eirika stopped abruptly. If the thieves had not noticed her by now, it would be better to use it to her advantage. Sticking close to the wall of the street’s last building, she pried around the corner. The next street seemed to be fairy broad and the group had come to a halt in about the middle of it. Unfortunately, she noted, there were not many spots to hide or to take cover, so the only advantage she could get was the moment of surprise. And she would need it; no matter how she looked at it, she definitely didn’t possess the strength to simply knock out a person like the man had done before. She would have to rely on very precise and quick strokes with her rapier. If only she had practiced as much as Ephraim always told her to do…

Ike's joints cried out as he eluded Marth's field of vision. Each knee creaked with excitement as his tattered body carried him to the next phase of his plan. Flanking Marth's left, Ike dashed out, unleashing blunt heavy blows to the weakened prince's side. Ike saw this as an opportunity to even the playing field, bringing Marth's almost demonic speed back to Ike's level once more, lashing out to his thighs with the flat side of his blade. Ike felt the weight behind each blow he dealt, he knew that his legs wouldn't allow for him to rip across the field anymore. Marth couldn't possibly be as lightning fast as before now... could he? Ike wasn't sure whether or not this plan was going to work, but by the goddess he was at least doing something. From the back he saw Marth flick the wrist of his swordhand. Ike, noticing that small gesture immediately took a swift retreat back, four paces away. Looking down, a small thin cut had broken into his flesh. Ike had dodged what probably would've been a lethal strike. Surprised at the abruptness of his blade's speed, Ike took one more look at Falchion. With a tiny squint, Ike came upon a revelation. He was using Aether. Although not as refined, and it still in its infant stages, Ike had no doubt in his mind Marth was most definitely using the same type of Aether that he had brandished since the beginning. His goal was met. He had nothing else to show Marth. He did however, need to end the battle soon. Running once more, Ike attempted to put pressure on the ever stronger Prince. His growth rate was frighteningly quick. Each metal pang made subtle indents in the earth as the two men traded strikes. An overhead slash followed up by an ethereal shockwave... it was like a battle between two supernatural beings. Ike felt Ragnell resonate with his body, bringing about a calm. He was able to fully concentrate on Ragnell alone. What pain? Ike felt nothing more come about him other than the strength he received from his partner. At the corner of his eye, Ike saw that Falchion was resonating with Marth just as well. Matching movements and timing with his strokes, erratic vibrations coursed through the air as Falchion glowed an ethereal green... almost bright emerald light. No wait... Falchion's aura was in fact blue. Ike should've known. Marth was no Ike. Marth can only fight as he himself chooses. Falchion just responded in a way that suited his master's skill. Bringing himself one step closer, Ike grew impatient as the pain seeped back into edge of his mind. Ike was overwhelmed by Marth's flurry of strikes. Each cut getting thinner... faster... and more precise than ever before.
(Ike-Soren-Marth)
“Good. Bloodflow isn’t as bad as I thought. If it had slashed my artery I would’ve lost my life in mere moments.” Ike mumbled to himself. Using Ragnell once more, he made an outward burst of power resonate from the blade, burning the wound shut. His thigh ripped in distress. If Ike didn’t know any better, this would lead to his downfall. He knew that the fight needed to end. But what could he do? Marth was well aware of his innate abilities now. His mental strength in pulling out Falchion’s power was immense, making use of his agile, quick form. Something that marveled the general greatly. “Strategy-wise, his moves could use a little more polish, but they are most certainly incredible. If only Marth had more time to… no. I mustn’t be thinking about the adversary like this. The only thing I need to focus on is victory. To pass on to Marth my knowledge. But it looks like his mindset is working for him better than I could’ve imagined.” Ike made a small chuckle to himself. Letting no stroke of his blade go to waste, Ragnell made three thrusts into the ground. With his plan already set in motion, Ike charged with vigor into Marth’s range of battle. With the both of them meeting in the middle he gave his wrists a flick, letting his body follow through the motions of his blade. Becoming faster, fluid, even graceful to say the least, was Ike aim. In a flash, Ike disappeared, with three massive shockwaves right behind his former silhouette. Three blades closing in on Marth.

So hai guys. I'm finally back online after being away from a working internet connection the past 4-5 days. Anime Conji was just great.
Awesome time working @Anime Conji
so much stuff to process through my sleep deprived mind. I bought:
Moribito: Guardian of the Spirit (Series Part 1) - negotiated from $15 to $10
Neon Genesis Evangelion: Eva Unit 01 Key Chain & FLCL Key Chain - negotiated from $13 to $9
Pokemon Hat (Ash) - $15
Black Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Shirt & Green MMPR Shirt - $35
Kirby’s Dream Band Shirt (signed by the entire band) - $10
Worked 4 days straight with almost no breaks in between band sets and stuff. Can’t wait for my paycheck next week. Spent alot of my freetime at night either partying or watching the anime marathons that went on in the hotel suites. Oh and NOT SLEEPING.

@marth OOC
The two other shockwaves had passed him by as he had predicted but…where was Ike? He gripped his blade even as his head swam. He was so out of focus that he didn’t even notice the colour of his blade had changed. It now glowed green, the same shade as Ragnell’s previous flames. It was light rather than fire but the new energy was distinctly unfamiliar. So I came online about a few days ago, found the reblogged post and saved it to my drafts because I had classes going on that morning. Now that I finally read it OMG WHAT is this. Meh Goostuh. Sometimes I get emotionally attached to rp posts, but this was just WHUUUUUUUUUT

"Oh." WHAT AN INCREDIBLY NICE GIRL you don't find apologies like that everyday, let me tell YOU... pay no mind to it young lass for I harbor no ill will. thought Ike. "I-its alright." coughed Ike. He made a sore attempt at masking the boyish sound of his voice, letting out a gritty reply to the what now became a panicked woman. Ike, realizing his fault, looked down to hide his embarrassment. Scrunched eyebrows laid the foundation for another misunderstanding, because the lass looked even more distressed than earlier. Taking a step back, Ike gestured the sweet girl to his place in line. "Hey! WHAT DO YOU THINK YO-..." With a stoic look he turned toward the angered man behind him. "Forgive me." Ike heard a small quiver of a retort. Looking once more at the woman in front of her, Ike felt this day couldn't have gone any better that this. A second look revealed that she had a blade at her side. Her thin, sleek body suggested she must've been a myrmidon to some extent. At beautiful girl nonetheless, intimidating somewhat. It'd be best if he did not anger her indeed. A large resounding boom encamped the vendor, thick white mist maliciously entered the square. A few cries broke out among the civilians. Ike scanned the area with precision, catching the silhouette of a cloaked man making off with produce and other good from the vendor. "STOP HIM!!!" screamed the butcher. Being steady on his feet, Ike pursued the thief and grabbed hold of his arm. Seeing the loads of food in his sack, he gave a hook with his left and an heavy upper into the chin of the dark robbed man. Ike knew better than to draw his sword carelessly in this situation. The people were frightened, and seeing him unsheathe a fresh blade wouldn't even being to remedy the fragile mindset's of the people. Clearing his throat, Ike turned around and felt something sharp run through his side. Another black cloak disappeared as Ike felt a great numbing sensation overcome his body. Ignoring the injury, Ike went on in chase of the criminals, with no intention to stop or rest. "What of the swordswoman?" Ike muttered. He hoped that she was okay.
Eirika & Ike - A Day In The Market
Ike was a simple man. No, not Ike the Vanguard. This particular Ike was the kind that searched for meat. Finding himself amidst an array of assortments and produce, he felt the immediate need for sustenance namely meat. Any would do him justice. Whether it be pork, poultry, or beef… Ike loved them all. This market place had no livestock, much to the man’s dismay. But rather, Ike was on the search for a certain meat vendor. Particularly dried, cured meat per-say. The salty rip of flesh as it tears at the tips of your teeth. Meat given holy purification with the sun beating down a gentle warmth as it feeds the individual fibers with delicious burns. Ike liked jerky the most, mainly because of the fact that he could nourish himself in the midst of battle. Or any other time of day actually, which he knew was advantageous in any situation.
Coming across a particular meat vendor, among its side array of organic produce was a large mob of hungry townspeople, each patiently waiting for their treasured strip of love. This vendor was one Ike fancied every time he came upon this square. Taking a walk through the streets paved with sleek marble blocks and the scent of apples was always more of an experience in of itself. There, Ike stood. Clad in a ragged brown cape, concealing his well known garments including his blade, the man knew it was wise not to steal attention in the heavily populated city. Catching the sight of a fair blue haired maiden in the distance, Ike quickly looked away from the far-off beauty and awkwardly waited for his turn at the counter. The various seats and tables around the shoppe were flowing with numerous people of varying ages, each enjoying sandwiches and stews, among other goods that the owner sold along side his proud son. It was a family business, well loved as such. Waiting, Ike glanced at the menu and pondered at what order he should partake. Feeling a slight brush on his shoulder, Ike paid no mind.
