This cave felt.....

Strange.

Like a place Ultraviolet should have found before, but had missed, somehow. A place that made him uneasy. He wasn't quite sure why... but as he approached Oriana in the dark, he wondered how important it was. There was a mystery here. The seal, the cave, the metals... but he smiled regardless, warm and friendly, gentle. Not wanting to spook with his presence, but making himself clear nonetheless. His eyes and his tail cast the cave around him in blue and pink light, coloring the cave with the touch of the Distortion World.

"Hello," he said softly. "I must admit, it's quite a cozy place you have here, all things considered... perhaps there is a seal, but I can see this is your home, as well, and home is home, no? My name is Ultraviolet, it's lovely to meet you, Oriana." He chuckled softly, tail swaying behind him. "Hopefully I can, hm- shed some light on the situation?"

His tone was light, but his eyes searching. The cavern felt ghostly. He wanted to pinpoint why.

“They look like you… only not as pretty.”

“Well i think they’re pretty. Why are you here pretty other thing?”

Ultraviolet instantly knew what he was looking at- but it made absolutely no sense, because JJ had been with him as he confronted his father. Had Lucifer manipulated time? Why was Luci still messing with his friends?

"That creature has a penchant for vengeance like you would not believe- did he harm you? What happened?? I...." Ultraviolet trailed off, slowly looking back down at Giratina- who was laughing.

"...Father," he said slowly. Confused. "This is not exactly a matter of hilarity-"

"You turned that rat into a Skitty??" Giratina was wheezing. "Image evidence or it did not happen!"

"Father!!"

"Can you not sense the power within your friend, Ultraviolet? I have my doubts even Lucifer could harm him! Haha!! There's no need to worry so much! That old devil had it coming!"

“So, the Palkia of your world has a champion of sorts? What exactly did she choose? Is it something dumb like most universes where they choose Hoopa?”

Giratina couldn't help but stare distrustfully at the Palkia. One in his realm, one he guarded so jealously. It made him scared, it made him angry. No Dialga or Palkia had a place in his Distortion World!! The near loathing rolled off him in waves, but when he spoke, it was with tight respect.

"We have no idea. If we did, things right now would be a great deal simpler. Now- leave this place, you are not welcome here."

I really do hope nobody has to fight. But just to be safe, maybe UV can learn and strengthen defensive moves and recover

"This is true. Even if you do not participate in this battle, it would be good for you to know. I have said this often..." Giratina tilted his head.

"I don't wish to fight- I can avoid circumstances that would require such things...."

"That cannot always hold true. You must learn to defend yourself in truth, and soon."

"Who will teach me, then?" Ultraviolet said bitterly. "You? How long has it been since you've required any such things?"
