HI my name's brin and i've spent the last 4 years writing a dragon quest 11 post-post game fic focusing on how things could play out as the party grapple with this new peaceful erdrea. but it's mostly focused on serena and jade as i feel they are very under-utilised in the canon (and i feel like act 3 could really be the start of their character arcs rather than the end!) So here's some miscellaneous art i've done over the last year or so. one day the fic will be done and these can be enjoyed with full context but i thought i may as well post them for now as i make a lot of art for this and it doesn't really fit anywhere :-)

HI these are my manticores, Del is the orange lion/bird with her hair tied up and Adil is the lion/goat with the big fluffy mane! Currently working on a story with them and thought I'd post a bit more here :) Hope to have more soon

hi hi i was inspired by the reaction to my OC treestar from the amazing commission i got from my sibling meroaw! so i wanted to post a little more about treestar along with some pics i’ve done of her. Treestar, born Roar of Falling Tree, is a really very small scrappy she-cat with long fur. She, alongside two other loners, are visited by a medicine cat spirit and are guided to found Clans to unite the loners in the area so they don’t die out Treestar founds TreeClan as advised but sees more potential in the concept of a Clan than her fellow leaders, Hollowstar and Ridgestar. More events occur, TreeClan becomes a very populous Clan with a few very different rules. Long after Treestar has passed, her legacy is challenged by Smokestream, a feisty warrior who has suffered greatly due to Treestar’s lasting reach on the Clan Thats all ill say for now thanks for reading :)

DQXI Act 2 spoilers for Arboria ahead!! Finished a MAP part :’)  the frame sizes were really fun to work with on this one. The MAP is winter themed so I added snow etc to scenes that didn’t already have it which was kinda neat. complete MAP is here
