Seeing Kamelia’s reaction to his question gave V’tehn some mixed feelings. Seeing her get this upset over a name made him worry, but that worry was two fold. One was his worry for her emotional well being, the other was the worry that a simple name caused her this much strife. Was R’ahto an important person to her afterall? A former lover? Maybe he died. Or maybe he was still in the picture? No, he didn’t believe Kamelia to be the type. She was too honest with her feelings when they were alone for her to be lying to him. As much as V’tehn cared for her, Kamelia had fallen much faster and so much harder. His other arm raised to hold Kamelia tightly in his embrace, one hand gently patting her on the back as he did so. “Ya don’t have ta answer if y’re uncomfortable with it. Don’t really need ta know bout y’r previous lovers or nothin. I know ya want ta be ta me now so I’m sorry for bringin up the past.” Leaning down just a bit to plant a kiss on the top of Kamelia’s head V’tehn let one of his arms loosen and come up to gently grasp her chin. “Now quit hidin y’r beautiful face. An ya best not be cryin. I want ta only see ya smilin.” If Kamelia would allow it, V’tehn would try to lift her face up to face him using the hand on her chin as the lever.

With a simple shrug of his shoulders V’tehn moved to go after Kamelia, an arm moving to hold her shoulders if she’d accept it. “When we split up ta get things done yesterday a man came up ta me an said he knew ya. Said ya were trouble an some other shit. Smelled of booze though so I told em ta fuck off.” His tone was lighthearted, the concern from earlier hidden away now after seeing Kamelia’s sudden shyness. He didn’t like the look of that, given how Kamelia normally acted when the two were alone. “Mentioned the name an not much else. Figured it was just a past relationship or somethin. Was just goin ta let it go, but the question wouldn’t leave ma mind. If he was that is fine. Just curious is all.”

After finally convincing Tehn to show his place, Kamelia found herself mesmerized by the fish tank he had. The tank inhabited a rather huge fish that was apparently named 'Tehnkoi'. Which greatly amused her, so much that she managed to get up onto the counter to get a better look. Though a thought crossed her mind and she tried to get her hand into the aquarium to see if she could 'pet' Tehnkoi.

There wasn’t much to see in regards to V’tehn’s shope, yet he still gave in to Kamelia’s constant nagging about the subject. The outside was a mess of plants and trees, a hobby of the Seeker’s to take care of them. A well worn training dummy sat off in the corner, clearly used to test weapons made from within the small house in Shirogane. Upon entering the two were greeted to a standard shop front, a counter for an attendant or Tehn himself to sit behind, armor stands, weapon racks, and barrels filled with standard cheap to make but still high quality weapons. Upon passing the sliding paper door that lead downstairs you’d find yourself within the work shop itself.

A small seating area greets you first, an aquarium accenting the small seating place for clients to wait while V’tehn finished up his work. Off to the side were many workstations dedicated to various crafts and their required materials. The forge kept the room warm and filled the air with the scent of smoke despite his ventilation system, a large chimney that directed the smoke out of the house through the roof. After showing Kamelia around for a minute or so, V’tehn headed back upstairs to go find some paper he’d need for their return trip. There was no real place for the two to stay here so there was little point sticking around. Tonight they’d be sleeping in the Inn, V’tehn only having a cot or a couch to sleep on for himself.

Upon going back down the stairs V’tehn came upon a curious sight, Kamelia up on the counter holding up the large aquarium, her hand in the water. From the beginning Kamelia had taken an interest in the overly large koi within the water but V’tehn had taken it as simple amusement at its size. “The hells are ya doin? Don’t go eatin ma fish.”

Are they prone to jealously?

V’tehn would never publicly admit to it, but yes. He is a big ol’ green monster inside. While its never things like “Oh they’re so rich I envy them”, it’s on much smaller things mostly. He gets especially jealous of those who can be friends with anyone. He is just too prickly and ‘untrusting’ to go along with most.

He is in a Poly relationship with three partners ( two since one is missing ), and one of those partners has partners of her own. He is in no way controlling of that partner and who she is involved with ( so long as it’s communicated ) but deep inside he does with he had her all to himself. It’s an ugly side of him, but he doesn’t let that monster come out. She is free to love who she loves, and when they’re together they’re together and it’s wonderful. He just wishes the two could spend more time together since his job and the distance keeps them apart for sometime.

V’tehn is /VERY/ protective of his partners. He won’t get overprotective or anything, he knows very well just how capable and strong his partners are and doesn’t interfere more than needed. He’ll protect them with his life and body if it meant saving them. He knows his doing so might make them sad, but it is still a thing he would do. Their happiness and survival is paramount to his own in every way.
