The final composition for our FMP on the BA Creative Digital Media course at West Nottinghamshire College.

This video acts as a digital calling card for us as digital artists and a display of our technical skills and creative ability.

The idea of the composition is a journey, from organic to synthetic to prosthetic, focusing on the changing of material, texture, scale and form throughout the sequence.

Further expanded from the entering of reality, a colour shift to chromatic theme and digitisation mirrors the theme and colour scheme for this section of the video (Synthetic). A reverse time effect has been added also signifying the exiting of reality for the atom/particle.

Further expanding on the morphing ball experimentation, the colours have been altered to fit in with the last section of the video (Synthetic) with chromatic aberration and digital aspects. Instead of the atom/particle entering reality, a reverse effect has been added so that it exits reality.

Expanded upon experimentation with the morph ball test to create a sense of entering of reality for a single atom/particle. organic in theme the colours used reflect the same colour scheme as the rest of the content created for this section. Adapted from a previous experiment, modelling was created within LightWave with part of the animation. Colour graded and more animation created within After Effects.

Atom composition, expanded upon the abstract solar system experiment to form atoms that build up to form an object. Modelled, textured animated and instanced within LightWave 3D.
