{Travel Diary} BARCELONA: Park Güell

Day-two in Barca had me en route to Park Güell just by myself. This was while Becca decided to sleep in in consequence to an electric night of partying at the greatest night club we’d ever been to. Either way, 3 hours of sleep ain��t got nothing on a beautiful morning in Barcelona.

Granted, having each other all the way through the trip was exciting, I remember feeling that this little bit of alone-time was so heavenly.

Encountering perfect strangers and absorbing the brilliance of Gaudi’s architecture made for an exceptionally inspiring day. Even long after his death, Gaudi’s presence in Barcelona is exceedingly prominent. And thank goodness for that ‘coz all of his work are works of love that trigger sparks in your brain that you did not know even existed. What a gifted life.
