Josuke Higashikata (4 I'm assuming) x Reader

There was an annoying rhythmic knocking from the front door. No matter how much you try to ignore it, the knocking seems to get louder with each thump. Even yelling for it to go away doesn't seem to solve your problem.

Left with no choice to answer it, you stormed to the door, heavy footsteps thumping as loud as the knocks. When you reached the door, you aggressively slammed it open. As you were about to scream to the culprit, you paused, seeing it was only your boyfriend Josuke.

He had come at a very unfortunate timing...

Oblivious to your odd behavior, he was snickering like a mischievous brat when you opened the door. His smile nearly reached up to his ear as he startles you. "Surprise!— Oh— Did I come at a bad time?" Now he discovers your sour mood.

His eyes widen seeing how disheveled and annoyed you looked. Thinking he was the source of your moody display, he bowed down repeatedly and apologizes for his actions earlier. "I'm really sorry! I didn't think my knocking was annoying..." Josuke was staring at the ground, glancing at you every so often as he waits for your forgiveness. With a cute face like that, you knew you couldn't yell at him. So alternatively, you grunted and accepted his apology.

"It's fine, Josuke. I'm just having a horrible day...." You left the door open for him, sluggishly going back inside and burying yourself with pillows on your couch. He takes the invitation, followed you into the living room, and sat on the floor in front of where you sleep.

"Oh! I nearly forgot... I bought you ice cream." Your ears perk from hearing those words and immediately you were already sitting up, looking at him intensely. Josuke gives you a lopsided grin. "Your favorite flavor too. Maybe that could help?" He hands you a small damp paper bag. Looking through the paper bag there were three of them. Slowly, you start to feel better.

"Ah... Thank you, Josuke" He waves his hand in front of his face, still keeping the cute lopsided grin on his face. "No worries!" You feel your heart clench and a familiar feeling creeps up in your insides... This man makes you feel every positive emotion all at the same time. You even wonder if he had used crazy diamond to insert a swarm of butterflies in your stomach. Maybe he did, figuratively.

"I know how you feel because yesterday I just had the worse bad hair day... My usual hair gel doesn't even keep my hair in its place!" He half-joked, wanting to see you crack a smile but he was only met with a blank look from you. He grew nervous.

Not even realizing it, you've been staring at him for a few minutes until he shook his hand in front of you. "Are you alright?" He asks worriedly.

"I'm fine!..." Your voice cracked, making your cheeks flare up even more. He chuckles and shook it off, nodding.

Since it was fairly hot, you decided to eat the ice cream, and not wanting to be greedy, you gave him one of the ice creams he bought. And he warmly accepts it, thanking you.

"Do you mind telling me what got you grumpy? It's okay, you don't have to... I just don't like seeing you upset." You shook your head, waving your hand in the air, deciding that you didn't want him involved. "It's nothing, Josuke."

He frowns but didn't push further. Instead, he came up with the greatest idea. He offered, "What about we cuddle and sleep in today?"

"Sounds like a plan to me." He grins and pulls you into a short kiss. "Hm, maybe not cuddling since it's hot... Although I will accept any kisses in exchange." He laughs with a nod.

Medical diagnoses - this is nobody's business but yours. You don't owe anyone an explanation for why you are the way that you are
