Dillon Endico: Stories Through Paint
85 posts
My drawings and paintings are rooted in imaginative-realism and stem into the world of story and wonder. I am ever growing through the process to create something meaningful and true. My inspiration is found in nature's beauty and rhythm, experiences that...

Thank you Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. for the light you have shown of #peace #power and the #divine #truth May we find #inspiration in your examples of fierce #love and #resilience as we all search for our own #mountaintop "When our days become dreary with low-hovering clouds of despair, and when our nights become darker than a thousand midnights, let us remember that there is a creative force in this universe, working to pull down the gigantic mountains of evil, a power that is able to make a way out of no way and transform dark yesterdays into bright tomorrows. Let us realize the arc of the moral universe is long but it bends toward justice.” Address to the southern Christian Leadership Conference on August 16, 1967

Miami Reggae Festival I began pulling my inspiration from the festivals mission to aid in the fight against poverty through culture, music and art. Drawing from the unity in the phrase “Birds of a feather flock together” and connecting to the symbology of the Doctor Bird (native humming bird of Jamaica) I saw a way to link the intentions and efforts of this festival.  Great night of painting, music and interaction Thank you Miami Reggae Festival

Bear Creek An amazing festival that soaked me in some powerful music and funked my bones to the core. With all this going on it was kid of funny to find myself in a deep state of concept and creation. My painting was infused with: That brief moment of twilight when the saturation of the sunset seeps into the night. Just as life the tides change and grow. To see your reflection in the energy of the moon. Dive in again and let bioluminescence’s take you home.
Now it’s time to finish it ha ha ha.
