As you go through the motions almost as if you are on autopilot, you are startled by a blaring siren and the words EMERGENCY ALERT. You freeze in your tracks and focus all of your attention on this broadcast. If you are in public, those around you stop to listen as well. You look around, and watch faces morph into fear as the United States issues an order for citizens to shelter in place.And as the broadcast concludes, you think to yourself “This is it. The apocalypse, it’s really happening.” It does not take long for panic to ensue within the city. Those unfortunate enough to have been outside during the broadcast flea for their homes.
