Sometimes, an emo bird needs a little help with admitting his feelings.

Dark Shadow is a part of Tokoyami’s body, so he’s always there. Plus, he has a mind of his own. So I always figured he was privy to things Tokoyami wouldn’t admit to.

Note: “Fumi” is just Fumikage (Tokoyami’s first name) shortened. I kinda HC it as Dark Shadow’s affectionate nickname for him.

I love the Big 3 and I love TamaNeji. A considerably super-rare ship in the fandom, but I still think it’s super cute~

If I was goanna make something, I really wanted to do it for Zen’s B-Day. I really loved the illustration they did for his B-Day this year.

But I couldn’t do it in time cause I was seriously sick for most of March ^^;; I was actually tested and thankfully, it wasn’t COVID-19, just the flu. A really sucky flu.

Anyway, it’s not good but it’s something at least.

Hey everyone. Sorry I’ve been MIA for more than 6 months. Probably nearing a year.I just haven’t been able to make a complete illustration of my own for a long time. 

I haven’t created anything I’m happy with.

I managed to finish some things for commissions and zines, but when I was left to create on my own, I couldn’t do anything. And everytime I started something, I would eventually have an emotional breakdown and I couldn’t finish it. Even when doing commissions and zine work, I ended up stopping in between drawing because I wasn’t satisfied with anything I did. 

You start to realize something is wrong when you are in the middle of doing lineart and you start crying because you hate how bad it looks. 

I needed a brief break because I was clearly overdoing it. But the brief break ended up becoming a long hiatus, because I couldn’t produce anything. And whatever I did make just wasn’t good enough or was incredbly ugly. Even now, that feeling hasn’t changed.

But I miss posting stuff and I miss having fun with art. So I’m slowly easing myself back into it. 

A few people have messaged me asking if I’m doing ok. I appreciate those messages. But I’m hoping those who messaged me can be patient with me a little longer. 

There’s no good excuse why, it’s just that I’ve been feeling so depressed that I can’t bring myself to properly talk to anyone anymore. I can give brief answers to quick questions or reply when it’s super important. But in any other case, I just can’t think of anything to say.

I usually hate posting about personal stuff like this. But it’s only right to let those following me know why I’ve been MIA. And that way if I ever do it again, there’s an explanation why. 

I’ll try to start posting again. The reason I’m posting this now is becasue I finally finished something. I was really scared about posting it because I still didn’t like it that much, but I need to get over that feeling at some point.

I think I need to start posting again so I can get my inspiration back and make art like I used to. 

Anyway, I’m sorry everyone.

Happy B-Day Zen! I wanted to do something bigger for you but a misbehaving tablet and a sore wrist made it difficult to finish in time TvT  For some reason, I like doodling Zen and MC cuddling in bed. Zen just looks like he’ll be warm to snuggle  

I’ll try and make it up for small updates in 2019 by fixing up a lot of Zen doodles and comics I drafted. I’m not done celebrating Zen just yet.

Regarding Tumblr’s New Content Policy

It seems like after years of being pretty lenient on NSFW content, Tumblr is bringing the hammer down on it. I can understand why, but at the same time I can’t help but feel like this ban on ALL adult content is pretty extreme.

Aaaand Jumin is done. Michii helped with the dialogue again otherwise I doubt I could write him in-character. 

As of now, I think I’ve drawn all the guys naked/half-naked except Seven and Vanderwood \(OvO)/ Maybe I’ll get to Vanderwood once I finish designing his MC.

Oh my god, something BNHA in the first time in forever on this blog. I actually draw BNHA a lot, I just never post any of it. 

I doodled this around the time I saw the BNHA movie in September but forgot to post. Honestly, haven’t felt that hyped for an anime movie since Digimon Tri. It was so good.

hi!! i really love your art. you are super talented and i get really excited to see when you post!! in a recent caption you said you wanted to draw zenxmc doing some domestic things. i adore art with zenxmc cause i stan them hard. i was just wondering, if you end up drawing them with children, could you tag it? something like #parenthood maybe? it’s just one thing that makes me uncomfortable but a lot of people don’t tag those things :/

Sure I’ll add a #parenthood tag. If it helps I usually tag these kinds of things under #fankids.

Whoa- I didn’t think someone would notice the censored names 😮 You’re the first one to ask!

But yup you got it right! The oldest is Mi-Yeon and the only son is Jin. The youngest child (the baby in the comic) I didn’t mention, but her name is Hyun-mi.

Fun random trivia about them:

(1) Mi-Yeon is the most like Zen and starts acting in her teens and ends up in a lot of K-Dramas by the time she’s in College. She’s well known for pulling off cross-dressing and doing male roles, earning her a variety of hardcore fans. However she didn’t inherit her parent’s musical skills at all and is the most tone deaf member of her family.

(2) Jin is scouted in by an Idol Agency and becomes part of a Visual Kei-esque idol group. They have a vampire motif going for them. Because of his popularity he has even taken part in variety shows and K-dramas, though he doesn’t “shine” as well on camera as his older sister and he kind of envies her for having that kind of presence.

(3) Hyun-mi is the polar opposite of her more dramatic family. She’s very calm and rational. Because her siblings and her father are often busy, Hyun-mi is around MC a lot and she shows some favoritism toward her mother. Her goal is to be a film director and she‘s more interested in the technical side of the theatre business.

I really love making fan-kids. I have others planned for the rest of the cast, but time will tell if I get to them. ^^;;

Random ZenxMC doodles! ☺️ I’m trying to do stuff like this once every day. With zero care or doubt in how anatomically accurate or detailed things are. It’s honestly pretty liberating to just draw with zero fucks lol. It’s all just fluff. I want to draw them doing more domestic things in the future.
