Summary:

Throughout her adventures, Aloy had become disillusioned to things that seemed like the divine to others. Gods turned out to be automated voices coming from doors, Daemons turned out to be rouge AIs, godly ancestors turned out to be the product of manipulated history, the list could go on. Aloy had never encountered something that didn't have a logical explanation until she discovered a time machine not of this world.
