Odaiba Memorial 18th

It’s August 1st. Today marks the 18th anniversary of Odaiba Memorial Day.

An important day for Digimon fans, many call August 1st, “The Digimon Day”. 

On this day in 1999, Taichi and co. arrived into the Digital World and began their adventure. Since then, many other children and their partner/buddy digimon/appmon began their own adventure in their own Digimon universe.

I’ve wondered if it’s a part of them as well, especially Meicoomon’s evolution, but (it reminded me of thepurple and white parts of Meicoomon’s evolution, for example, and I thought that maybe the colors could fit Ophanimon: Fall Down Mode, since they reminded me of Tailmon), but not I’m a little less confident it’s connected to one of them...

Can it be an evolution of Bakumon?

Does anyone know if the weird thing behind meicoomon is some other digimon or just something that belongs to one of the two digimon!?

it was Yggdrasil's plan not Homeostasis. Homeostasis never mentioned a reboot Maki did and she works with Yggdrasil Sorry, I don’t know how to reply. :\ Thanks for the comment! :)

I meant what Maki said (Wasn’t Yggdrasil only mentined in Loss? In the Adevnture anime, I mean). In the translation I watched (Gogoanime’s) it was said it was "the will of Homeostasis, who desired stability” and later on this scene: “would you get it if I say it’s the God of the Digital World? The one who decides whether to reboot?” She could have lied or hid something, but I find it curious that she planned the reboot, after that we were told and saw in Confession.

Thoughts About The Reboot

I guess we don’t know all about it yet, and a few things seemed suspicious at the end of Confession, but if all of Maki’s motive was to save Bakumon, why smiling mysteriously again? I get wanting to hide her involvement and not telling Daigo, and maybe being commited to other plans since she wasn’t working alone, but I’m very curious about this.

And she was planning the reboot, even though we were told the reboot was Homeostasis’ choice. I think it’s possible that the plan was to create the situation that will make Homeostatis do that, but what are the future plans of Maki, the Mysterious Man, Yggdrasil and the others?

Let’s talk more about digivices in Digimon Adventure Tri.

Specifically, Maki’s, Meiko’s and Ken’s. I think the scene with the 02 kids focused a little more on Ken’s digivice than on the others’, been shown on the ground... Later, Maki brought a different black digivice. It looks different from Ken’s, and hers was different in the flashback, and not even black (white/pink? Maybe we connect this to the theories about Maki, Meiko and Hikari and Balance, Darkness and Light? I think it’s improbable, but I was reminded of Hikari for a moment), but she had it from some reason. And than Meiko’s, which turned black and red. I think I’m probably looking too much into the colors, and even if it’s true, Ken’s digivice is probably irrelevant, but I wanted to point this out.

The Four Holy Beasts

This theory is based on information from wikipedia.

According to wikipedia, they have elements: Lightning, Fire, Water and Steel. I don’t know about steel, but... "Darkness sails north to become water. Light sails south to give birth to fire. Wind flows in between light and darkness. Light sinks into darkness and returns to earth."

I’ve seen people wonder if Meiko has a crest and what it is. I don’t think she necessarily needs one… But if she has one, maybe it’s red, since that’s the color of the frame of her picture? Since the others’ colors match their crests… I know, it might be from aestheic reasons, or to fit her digivice, because it turned black and red (though, if she has a crest, can’t her digivice’s colors be a clue as well?), or simply because they had to choose some color, but I wanted to share my thoughts on this.

Hello. On April 3rd of this year, it will be the one year anniversary of Wada Kouji’s death (April 3rd, 2016). Since it would be nice to keep him in our thoughts and prayers, I thought I might propose that we spend a few moments to do something in his honor on that day, a few of which are: 

♥ My friend @rainbow09 had a wonderful idea of writing a message to him in the shape of a butterfly and releasing it online. If you’d like to go one step further, there are tutorials online on how to make origami butterflies (this one, while in Spanish, makes a very beautiful swallowtail butterfly). 

♥ You can donate to a cancer society of your own choosing (either specifically for nasopharyngeal cancer, or to one in your region). 

Or really anything that you would like to do in remembrance. Nothing too fancy or big, the whole purpose is that we’d like to pay our respects to him and let it be known that we still remember him.
