Recent Ep Rant/overall season rant

I don’t think we realize that well a lot of people doesn’t realize that Jeffrey Dean Morgan’s character in the boys is a hallucination of butchers mind. Because the first time he showed up was very much out of nowhere. And every time he showed up in a scene or what not it was not around that much people as well as when there was a person in the room, Butcher turned to talk to him but the person in the room looked confused. I believe butcher could see dead people and people haven’t can’t realize that. But his wife is the good side, obviously telling him don’t give up and focus on what you had planned before. But Morgan character is trying to take him off track.thank you :3

You and john were joking around after you had taken your shower. He watched you moisturize you're face

He stands behind you, his chest pressed against your back as he watches you apply face cream through the mirror. He rests his chin on your shoulder, his arms wrapped securely around your waist. "Taking care of your skin, huh? You know I love watching you do your skincare routine." “oh yeah?” you giggle softly “thank you baby you wanna try some?” you face him

“Sure” he shrugs as he looked down at you watching you as you gently massage the face cream into his skin, enjoying the feeling of your fingers on his face.” Mmm, that feels nice sweetheart." He says, his voice low and pleased. He closes his eyes, feeling your touch as you work the cream into his skin. “And then-” you grab you're chapstick and gently put it on his lips. “Okay stay still baby one more thing-” she puts her bonnet on “you wanna wear one?”

John chuckled at your offer, amused at the suggestion of wearing a bonnet. He raised an eyebrow, a playful smirk on his face. “A bonnet? You want me to wear something like that? You scream and kick around as you start laughing. He smirks as he holds you grabbing the phone and showing them “Pathetic look at this girl can’t even run-“ you giggle holding onto his arm that was flexing. He leans down and kisses you're lips and bunch then lets you go giving you the phone.

It seemed like he relaxed as he nods gently “good then.” “Good” you mumble gently, you watch him open the car for you as you start getting in “thank you.”. He watches you get in "hey y/n?" You pause on you lean on the door "yes?" "will i see you again?" he looked at you gently. you smile softly as you nod "yes. you'll see me again." he slightly pressed his lips together nodding. "dont miss me to much yeah?" you get in as the door closes and you roll down the window as the car drives off.

he watches you go, you lean out the window "THANK YOU FOR THE FLOWERS!" you giggle blowing a kiss. He gently waves one arm behind his back "youre welcome!" he then watched you disapear. he turns as he walked back into vought that night he went to sleep with a big smile on his face.

Nightmare

It’s the middle of the night. He can’t go back to sleep so he flys to you for comfort.

It was around 12:30 when you heard a swoosh at you’re window that was in you’re apartment room. You sit up raising an eyebrow, you wasn’t asleep yet but who would be here this late. To protect yourself you grab youre knife and walk over opening the curtains you’re eyes softened but confused

“John? What are you doing here so late?” You asked opening the window.

You and John relationship was.. complicated at least to him it was. Says he didn’t want to even speak to you but he thought about you all the time, and other days he was under you begging for attention and simply love.

He walked in as he looked around “was flying and decided to come by” he had his hands behind his back under his cape, no that can’t be the reason right?

“You only fly around this late when you’re upset.” You looked at him gently. That’s when his face twitched slightly. He looked to the side then over at you “I had a nightmare.” He stood up straighter. His nightmares he would tell you about this whole bad room thing.

He did grow up in a lab that’s all you knew about it and he said he would stay in this room for hours almost a whole day. “Sit down I’ll be right back” you mumble as you turn walking out. Not listening he follows behind you not wanting to be alone right now. You poured milk in a glass as you turn and look up at him

He mumbles “it was..was bad this time.” He leans back against the counter “I don’t know why I keep seeing it but it just keeps and keeps coming back..” he chuckles but his face goes back nonchalant. You sigh “you think something is telling you to go back?” You gently give him the glass. He drinks it as he sighs out nodding slightly putting the glass down “homelander is telling me to”

“Homelander in a bad way?” You look at him gently. That caused him to nod. “I’m just.- im fucking tired” he chuckles as he shakes his head his eyes tearing up as he pressed his lips together looking off to the side “so. Fucking tired.”

You mumble “I know John..” you frown as you go up and hug him gently whispering “you do what John think is right not homelander okay?” She looked up at him. “There suppose to love me” he chuckles “t-there fucking suppose to love me.” He shakes his head as he pinched his temples “then Ryan he’s- I don’t know-“ he talked over himself.

“John” you take his face in youre hands “you need a break, a break.” You repeat himself “they need me-“ “they can’t need you if you’re not there.”.

He nods as he looked down down at you breathing in and out carefully.

You smile gently mumbling “you’re amazing okay? You work to hard for people to do this to you after the work you been though.” You shake you’re head as You gently wipe his eyes “stay the night?”

He nods as he leans down laying his face on your neck pulling you in a tight embrace mumbling “thank you” his voice shaky

“I’m always. Here for you” you whispered back rubbing the back of his head. Luckily you got him to sleep and what feared you was his plans he had next. Maybe telling him to go back wasnt a good idea.

Pretty sad regarding homelander

I’m not gonna say I was shocked that he killed all the people that either teased him or didn’t stand up for him when he needed it the most.

But the fact barba said “you could have left but you didn’t want to you wanted to make us proud.” And it’s that fact that she lowkey was write regarding he could have left but then again why would he if he never been outside you know?

It’s sad and I’m glad he got his revenge he isn’t in the wrong at all. And relating it to hughie mom coming back just because his dad is dying it’s like they connect because it shows hughie mom leaving him when he was younger vs. John growing up in a toxic “household”

Which is why you can tell he is trying his best to please Ryan but since he doesn’t even know how a parent is suppose to be to there child he is finding himself struggle and doing the wrong things.

Anyways that’s my rant for this episode which is the most Lore related episode so far and we are only in episode 4 😭.
