Spoilers for the new episode of Agatha all along

I hate how the majority of stuff talking about this episode has either been what did I expect from marvel of course the intimacy coordinator was for Billy

Or I’m so happy this was a Billy focus episode I wish other fans would stop being so homophobic about it.

Personally I don’t think it’s homophobic to be upset that a show that primarily advertises that it’s for wlw spent an entire show focusing on a marvel character that a lot of people didnt get into the show for. But that’s personal

I can see where people are coming from though because the reaction to this episode was negative and even me personally I found myself getting bored halfway through and skipping the interrogation scene because I didn’t want to watch it again. Side note: Kathryn does an amazing job of making you feel like Agnes isn’t Agatha and I didn’t get to enjoy that until now because I didn’t watch Wandavision

I enjoyed the episode as a whole though. I liked seeing how the entire coven was connected. I liked learning teen’s backstory. I like the scene between him and Agatha at the end where they got to meet all over again. I enjoyed watching them interact with this upfront knowledge of who each other were. And when I tell you I gasped at the reveal of who placed the sigil I mean I gasped. I also found myself entertained scrambling to piece together small interactions before now that never made sense. And when Billy was in the middle of his palm reading and she did that I’m talking in the future but in the past thing I was like quick someone write that down.

I enjoyed last nights episode even if my first reaction to it was disappointment. And I don’t think it’s as devoid of Agatha/Rio as the fans think. After all, Agatha’s mother was abusive and even now she still seems to think of herself as something evil and unlovable someone who has to be good to be liked and someone who reverts back to her evil persona the second anyone doubts her…. So who do you think taught her those words she told Billy.

“You found a way to survive….that makes you a witch.”

Because I disagree with the fans who think she taught herself that. The way she said it. It was like she was stuck in a memory.

As a side note to any other comment when I say most people I mean the portion of this fandom that I interact with.
