How to Load Subtitle in your Video

Nowadays, we can easily download video we want to watch through P2P or streaming. Some videos are embedded with subtitle where we can choose the subtitle that we want to show up on our PC. Some video is subtitle is hard coded where we cannot skip. For those downloaded video that without subtitle, we can actually download the subtitle, unzip it and place with together with the video file, renamed the subtitle filename with video filename or vice versa in PC. 十年一遇投资机会/冷眼（下篇）

为了遏止冠状病毒病的扩散，保护人命的安全，我们一定要遵行政府实施的行动管控令，留在家里。

我国经济受到冲击，企业界，尤其是雇用员工最多的中小型企业，受到严重打击，《南洋商报》3月26日封面版的一个标题“现金不流快断气”，令人怵目惊心，试想，万一管控令一再延长，企业真的断气，被迫裁员，员工失业，若财务基础变弱，家人生活怎么办？真得不堪设想。

发展中国家的政府已没有照顾社会中弱势群体的能力，我们作为第三世界的老百姓，除了设法自己照顾自己之外，别无他法。

受薪者尽早做两手准备

所以，受薪者一定要有忧患意识，提早为家庭和自己的晚年生活作好准备，这种准备工作，越早开始越好。受薪者这种准备工作，可以双管齐下，一方面努力增值，提升自己的工作能力，这是对职业的最佳保障，一方面一定要学习投资，为自己建立一份被动式的收入，这份被动式收入，应该跟着职龄及收入，逐步提升，到退休时，数目达到财务自由之境，使退休生活有足够的保障。

对普通受薪者来说，建立被动式收入最普通及较易做到的，是投资产业和股票。

无论是投资于产业或股票，都要把握适当的时机，才能加速个人财富的增长速度，早日达到财务自由的水平。

无论是那一种投资，投资者都需花精神和时间去研究和思考，并且不断的累积经验，才有希望做得较为成功。我一向专注于股票，所以只能在这方面跟大家分享心得，至于产业投资，当然也是一条很好的投资管道，我留给有识之士去提供意见，我就不置喙了。

股票投资要成功，投资一定要在开始时就设定终极目标，就是借投资股票累积财富，由小至大，到退休时达到财务自由，使晚年生活有足够的保障。我一向主张投资而非投机，是因为投机很难达到累积财富的目的。

在投资的漫长过程中，投资者一定要时时刻刻记住：你是在做生意，只是你没有去管理这盘生意而已。

你没有参与管理这盘生意，是因为你的股份太小，没有达到“话事”的水平，另一个原因是你也没有管理这盘生意的能力，作为一个受薪者，你如参股的是与你的职业完全无关的生意，所以你是外行人，没能力管理这盘生意，所以你把这盘生意交给专业人士替你管理经营，赚了钱之后按比例分红（股票）给你。

整个概念，就是这么简单，但股市中人90%以上忘记了这一点，走上歪路，自然无法达成累积财富的目标。

反向投资回酬超越大市

股票投资要取得超越大势的回酬，就一定要采取反向投资策略，道理很简单，既然股票就是公司的股份，则投资的成本越低，回酬越高，所以，“入股”（买进股份）的价格越低，则回本越快。

在别的投资管道中，投资者的“入股”成本，很少有跟价值相差很大的，比如产业，价值100万令吉的屋子，你可能因为屋主急于脱售，而以低于市值的价格买到手，但股票市场则不是这样，明明值得3令吉的股票，由于股市崩溃，投资者惊慌失措，你竟能以1令吉甚至更低的价格买到，这一方面是卖家情绪化，信心崩溃，一方面是因为对有关企业没有认识，或是太短视。

所以，在股市中，以超低价格买进股份（股票）的机会，比别的投资管道（如产业）高得多。

半世纪投资才遇到4次

这种机会10年才出现一次，在我50年的投资生涯中，这是第四次。

第一次是在1987年，原产品齐齐暴跌触发熊市；第二次是在1998年，在南亚货币风暴引发大熊市，吉隆坡指数由1300点跌至260点；第三次是在2008年，美国次贷风暴掀起全球金融海啸！这些大熊市很神奇的是每10年发生一次，故目前这第四次应该落在2018年，投资界的大佬及经济学家，在此之前已发出警告，说此次的熊市将比30年代华尔街崩溃引发的世界大萧条更加惨烈。

2018年来了又去，竟然平安无事，当城市中人松懈下来时，两只黑天鹅竟在鼠年伊始时降临——冠病和油市崩溃，形成全球性浩劫。

在过去的熊市中，人们所损失的是财富，此次则性命不保，难怪人们的恐惧超过过去的所有灾难。

这场战争，比人对人之战更加难打，因为病毒不但小到肉眼看不见，而且是天敌（至今没有特效药），又是行踪飘忽，随时会攻击人类。

股票投资，在平安无事的岁月，要取得超常的回报，要有技巧、智慧、经验、眼光和快捷的行动，谈何容易，在目前这样的熊市中，只要两样就够了——眼光和胆识，眼光是从芸芸众股中，相中最有潜能的股票，胆识是要克服恐惧心。

股市危机捞金须有胆色

受薪者一定要有冒风险的胆识，充分利用股市危机，提高年均复利增长率，以加速财富的增长速度。多数受薪者在退休时无法达到财务自由之境，年均复利增长率过低是主因。把钱存在银行的定期存款年利3.5%，以复利计算，也要20年才能增加一倍（1000令吉增至2000令吉），怎能达到财务自由呢？所以只听过有投资致富的人，没听过有靠定存利息致富的人，富人与穷人的分别就在于富人利用别人为他创富，穷人为别人创富。

两只黑天鹅催生了一场浩劫，股市受重创，制造了10年才出现一次的投资良机，苏州过了没船搭，投资者如果错过了，恐怕又要再等10年，人生有几个有用的10年呢？所以一定要充分利用来创富。我写本文只为提醒大家，不要因为恐惧而消极对待股市，这样会错过投资良机。

股市还有下跌的空间，大家无须迫不及待的下手，应耐心等到投资者一致悲观绝望，股价跌至令人难以置信的水平时，才是下手的最佳时刻。

两只黑天鹅触发浩劫/冷眼（上篇）

两只黑天鹅，触发了全球的一场浩劫——人命的丧失和经济的损失。

在欧洲人的心目中，数千年来，都认为天鹅是白色的，直到约900年前，一名荷兰探险家，无意中在澳洲西部发现一只黑天鹅，才彻底打破了“天鹅都是白色的”的印象。从此以后，黑天鹅被西方人用以形容突发事件，这类事件有三个特征：①在发生之前，完全没有痕迹，几乎是凭空而出；②对历史有重大的影响；③事后可以找出根源。

黑天鹅未必是灾难

黑天鹅事件未必是灾难的，凡是具备上述三特征的事件都可称为黑天鹅事件，第一次世界大战、9·11世贸大厦被恐袭、电灯电话的发明、手机的出现、互联网的产生都是典型的黑天鹅事件。（见Nassim Nicholas Taleb的著作“The Black Swan”）。

一只黑天鹅，已足以翻天覆地，此次两只黑天鹅同时出现，触发了人类一场世界性的浩劫，是谁也没法预料得到的。

这两只黑天鹅，就是冠状病毒病瘟疫和石油市场的崩溃。

中国人忧患意识深

在瘟疫之战中，中国为什么会做得最好？

答案是：中国数百年来面对无数的天灾人祸，受尽凌辱，忧患意识特深，一见灾难冒现，就如惊弓之鸟，立刻采取最严厉的行动应付。

为什么欧美面对浩劫，手忙脚乱？

我的看法是：

①欧美都养尊处优太久，养成了“太子爷”的心态，没有忧患意识，疏于防患，反应迟钝。

②此次打击最大，死人最多的意大利、西班牙、法国和英国都是过去的殖民地宗主国，靠搜刮殖民地的财产创造了优裕的生活，缺乏应变的能力，只有德国，在二战的废墟中崛起，政府和人民都有警惕心，故在此次瘟疫中死亡人数较少。

③意大利、西班牙和法国都是文化艺术深厚的国家，人民崇尚艺术，爱好自由，对灾难的防患及发生后的应对，都是最弱的。

④在欧洲中，意大利、西班牙和法国都是濒临地中海的国家，气候温和，面对严寒气候的欧洲其他国家人民，都喜欢到这3个国家旅游，瘟疫的传染特快，这3国的医疗无法应付，只好听天由命。

为世人带来何启示

⑤在冠病中死亡的多数是老人，这3个国家最多寿星公，在医疗不足以应付突变时，只好放弃没有经济价值的老人，以保住有家庭负担，社会赖以创业的中、青年人。许多在老人院颐养天年的老人集体死亡，实是人间惨剧。

⑥美国死亡人数剧增，是因领导人傲慢自大，故自食其果。

这两个黑天鹅事件，给我们这些发展中国家的老百姓带来什么启示呢？且待明天分解

大马投资交易所发动“全民拥股”运动，目标是很高远的，但不易做到。“全民”实际上也没必要做到，因为在“全民”中，有些人根本是不屑，或是不宜投资股票的。

所谓“全民”，应该是泛指适合投资股票的人，包括有资金的非就业人口（例如退休人士），以及就业人口，但是，在这些适合投资股票的人中，有些是不会去买股票的。

例如：

①对股票根本没有兴趣。我们知道，我们的脑子分为两个部分，一个部分是理性的，脑子这个部分发达的人会成为科学家、工程师、数学家等。他们是理性盖过感性的，这类人如果他们有改善物质生活素质的欲望，他们是会进行投资的，而股票可能成为他们的投资管道，他们会买股票。

脑子的另一个部分是感性的，这个部分发达的人会成为艺术家，他们在考虑事情的时候，往往会感情用事，不按理性考虑事情。这类人有些偏重精神生活，对物质生活需求不高，所以投资意愿不高，他们不会去买股票。有些也有提升物质生活素质的愿望，但对于属于理性的书籍，如投资理论、公司年报之类，总是看不下去；他们所喜欢的，是艺术味浓的作品，如诗、词、歌、赋、小说、散文、电影之类。投资是要读很多理论和分析的著作，才能成功的，不看理性著作的感性人，投资不可能成功，所以这类人不适合投资股票。

简而言之，脑子感性发达的人投资股票，失败概率高于成功概率，故不宜买股票。

②商人不宜买股票。商人身在商场，对商业操作了如指掌，应该是投资股票的料子。问题是现金流是商业的命脉，现金流量不顺畅，将导致生意周转不灵，生意可能倒闭。如果商人将做生意的资金，用来买股票，股票价格波动激烈，在股价暴跌时，如果商人生意上需要现金周转，被迫贱价售股，套取现金作周转用途，他将蒙受严重的亏损。股票大多数是要长期枯守，渡过商场的风风雨雨，才有希望赚钱的，随时需要现金周转的商人，不应让资金“困”在股市中，影响其生意运作。

③不愿做功课的人。由于对股票略识之无，缺乏经验，不宜投资股票。

但有一个大前提：他们必须有正确的投资概念，如果他们概念不正确，偏离投资正道，自作聪明，钻旁门，走左道，股市将成为他们的坟墓。

④对股票、股市存有偏见的顽固分子。他们之中有些是在股市中被烧伤，从此对股票/股市恨之入骨；有些则是听信消极之言，认为股市是赌场，股票投资是旁门左道，本身不去找出真相，也懒得去思考，他的脑袋有如铁桶，什么东西/道理都打不进去，这类人虽然数目不多，但确实是存在的，他们不适合也不会去投资股票。

在扣除了以上四类人之后，交易所要争取的“全民”人数，肯定大减，但无损于股市的重要性。

定存回酬远逊投资

Fix Panasonic Remote Ceiling Fan Slow Speed

Not sure after 5 or 7 years, both my house ceiling remote control fan got speed issue where only can run on lowest speed, how u change the speed it still turn slow…

After asked Dr. G, it is due to the board issue, which is common issue for remote ceiling fan. So there are 2 ways to fix it, replace whole board or replace the components on the board. Whole board cost higher, but easier to do. Likewise, replace components (Capacitor) cost lower, but need to find parts and soldering tool to do. So, is up to individual skill level and pocket…haha

First, we need to stop the fan, make sure is power off. Then, we remove the outer cover, u will see marking on the cover, just twist it to unlock and take out.

After that, unscrew 3 screws and we can reach the board side.

  There is no screw on the board, it just secured by 2 clip, remove 2 connectors and open the clip, we can take out the board.

Below is the board, I brought the board 2-3 years back, not sure is RM70 or RM80, wait till now only replace…haha. Before that I asked electronic components shop, they said no such capacitor, ask me the buy whole board…Some places I heard selling the components…

Fix Panasonic Remote Ceiling Fan Slow Speed

Upgrade TM Unifi Lite Copper line to Unifi 30Mbps Fiber line

After few years of waiting, finally TM fiber available at my housing area. Hence, I decided to upgrade my Unifi Lite RM69 10Mbps running copper line to Unifi 30Mbps fiber line. The package I’ve subscribed is RM89 with 30Mbps unlimited data. The fiber port located on the phone pole 2 blocks away from my house. I’m lucky to be the 2nd fiber users…haha.

The fiber cable is slightly wider than my previous copper RJ11 phone line, where the technician did the fiber splicing and drag the fiber line from the port straight inside my house.

As usual for fiber broadband, it comes with 2 devices, where the fiber cable connected to the Huawei Optical Network Terminal, then the 100Mbps LAN output from Huawei go to Netis DL4480V1 wireless AC1200 VDSL2 Modem Router. Main setup is done on the Netis, such as Ethernet WAN, Wireless, LAN, DHCP. The Huawei is lifetime warranty where by the Netis only 1 year.

Found out that fiber initializing connection is faster compared to copper.

【冷眼】乱世中怎样投资？（下篇）- 投资坚持“正道”

作为股票研究人及股票投资者，我一向坚持“正道”而行，“正道”就是：

作为股票研究人及股票投资者，我一向坚持“正道”而行，“正道”就是：

1. 对股市，我坚持“反向投资法”，也就是巴菲特所说的“别人贪婪时我恐惧；别人恐惧时我贪婪”。

2. 对上市公司的股份（我不大喜欢“股票”，我较喜欢“股份”），我严守基本面投资法则。

在“乱世”中，如果你依此“正道”而行，把眼睛注视在“股份”，而不是注视在“股价”上的话，你会发现，现在是一个不错的投资机会。

买股票，如果你能够遵守三个原则的话，你的投资胜算将大大的提高。这3个原则就是：

一、投资于好的企业

二、寻找好的合伙人

三、以好的入股价买进（股价越低，投资成本越低，胜算越高）

好企业为股份创富

1. 怎样的企业才是好的企业？

答案是：能够不断地为股份创富的企业（不要忘记《南洋商报》是“你的创富伙伴”）

什么企业能为股份创富？

答案是：有成长的企业。

这个“成长”是指盈利的持续上升。

所以，在考虑购买“股份”时，一定要坚持“没成长，不要买”，你就错不到哪里去。

2. 怎样的“合伙人”才是好的合伙人？

答案是：能够以股东利益为前提的合伙人，才是好的合伙人，那些以个人利益为前提的合伙人，不是好的合伙人，不要��股于他们的企业。不要跟他们做生意。

所谓“股东利益”其实很简单：

（a）能使股份增值

（b）在情况允许时，自由现金流充沛时派发合理的股息——股息跟着盈利上升的企业是上选。

3. 怎样的“入股价格”才是合理的价格？

答案是：以本益比为准。

有成长的股份，本益比较高可以被接受，但只是“较高”，而不是高得离谱。

如果每年成长30%，而且长期如此，三十倍的本益比可以接受。

但是每年平均成长5%（CAGR为准），本益比五十倍，最好也不要买，因为盈利稍为受挫，股价会大跌，风险极高。

没有成长的股票，本益比十倍以上，最好不要买；亏本的企业如确保能复原，可以考虑，如果看不到前景，最好不要买。

本益比一定要与成长挂勾才有意义，孤立看本益比，最易被误导。

过去只供参考

更重要的是将来，不是过去，过去可供参考，但切勿用以作出投资决定。

买对股票，不要轻易脱手，如发现买错了，马上卖掉，即使亏蚀也不可留恋。

结论：世界、企业和股市天天在变，你要懂得应变之道，才能在股市胜出。

无论怎样变，你都不要忘记你所买的是公司的股份，你是投资于生意，只是你没有管理这盘生意而已。

所以，生意能不能赚钱，有无成长，参股的成本是高还是低，才是最重要的。

至于股价，只要合理就行了，如果是偏“低”就更妙了。但那是可遇不可求。

现在，“适逢乱世”，“可遇”的机会已出现。

道理很简单，现在买产业收租，租金回酬不到3%，而且不容易租出去，目前可以买到周息率5%以上的好股，而且是免税的，为什么不买股票呢？

只有像目前的“乱世”才有这样的机会。

这不是什么“股灯”，却是肺腑之言。祝鼠年顺遂。

Erase SD Card on Android Phones

My Mi Max finally encountered storage low issue, where 32GB Internal storage is not able to cater…This is due to the 2 games (PUBG Mobile 6GB, Call of Duty 1.92GB) installed in the phone…

Anyway, I’ve found an old 8GB SD card from my old phone, where I can use it to get some extra spaces. After insert the SD card, we need to erase & format the card if there is old files inside.  If no SD Card is detected in android phone, the data such as Camera, Themes, Backup, Gallery and Music, will be saved to device’s internal storage automatically. Fix Perodua Bezza Fuel Lid Not Pop Out or Open

When I reached petrol station and want to refuel, I pulled up the remote fuel lid lever located on the lower right side of the driver’s seat to unlock the fuel lid, I felt the lever is lighter than usual and the fuel lid is not pop out or open at all…I’ve tried several times pulling the lever but still the same…end up go back home first…

Search online, some car got backup lever located on the trunk, but not my Perodua Bezza…Then I tried to pull out the hard cover in the trunk and I saw the fuel lid door mechanism near the fuel lid area.

For Bezza, the fuel lid/door itself is triggered open by a mechanical lever. The lever operated fuel door devices is commonly attached to a spring-operated locking mechanism located behind the fuel door. As the level is pulled in an upward direction, a cable attached to the lever and to the spring operated locking device is pulled at the same time. When this occurs, the spring operated lock will “click” the fuel door open, allowing you to put fuel inside the fuel tank. In my case, the cable slip out of position and did not engaged properly…

It’s a good idea to have a extra hands to help you do the checking, as one person will have to pull the lever at the source, while the other inspects the connection on the fuel door for activity of the cable. While one person pulls up on the cable, note the action of the cable. If the cable is moving but the door does not click, the problem will be the locking mechanism and not the cable. If the cable does not move, but is secure on the lever, you’ll have to remove and replace the cable as its most likely damaged somewhere in between the two connections.

For my case,  I just need to adjust the cable according to above diagram, and finally the fuel lid is able to open by pulling the lever. Make sure close and open few times to double confirm.

*Do not attempt to pry out fuel lid where it will scratches the paint or damage the fuel lid door
