I present to you my HUNTR/X (polytrix yk what time it is) headcanons: Zoey Garcia-Cho:

Pansexual

ADHD- Combined Type, Autistic

Synesthesia

Korean-American (her American side was half-Caucasian, half-Hispanic)

Her parents merged their last names upon marriage, and she thought it to be a sign of mutual love and respect that would last. Which was why it hurt her so bad when they divorced. She chose to ultimately keep the last name.

5'0 and 1/2

Bilingual (Korean, English) plus a small couple of Spanish phrases. Sometimes in arguments she will temporarily forget Korean and throw in some English phrases into her arguments

Tans pretty easily (so if I ever draw her, her skin will be both freckled and slightly browner)

Spray-paints and acrylic-paints her skateboard in different designs!

Late riser, late sleeper. You can NOT wake her up after 10 AM. It's just impossible.

She has naturally wavier hair that she manually has to straighten around the bangs for performances. She has beef with humid environments because EVERY TIME they frizz up her perfectly conditioned hair and just. bro wanna take this outside for real

One of her favorite foods is obviously shrimp crackers. She will eat BAGS upon BAGS of the thing while carb loading for concerts. Carb loading is mandatory, by the way.

The In-N-Out burger. That is the FIRST thing she eats whenever she's in America, whether on vacation or on tour

Definitely got scolded by her parents for daydreaming or not responding when her name was called, a source of shame she had to manually get rid of so as to not mask anymore

Streams games every so often on the HUNTR/X official SNS when she's not writing song lyrics. Games include Minecraft, Stardew Valley, Animal Crossing, or multiplayer if she's playing with the girls like Peak or Mario Party or even R.E.P.O

Family more disposed to pre-diabetes but that doesn't stop her from eating junk food. Because she dealt with pre-diabetes in the past (and still deals with it) her favorite rice recipe is cooking white rice with soaked soybeans and sprouted lentils to slow the blood sugar spike (plus it's high in fiber too)

Her arm pouch is in fact an insulin pump

Had massive trouble making friends in school due to (canon, stated in movie) feeling like too much and not enough at the same time

That being said (inspiration taken from another post I saw) the Hispanic community of her neighborhood absolutely adores her, and they're one of the several things she misses

Her obsession with turtles and aquatic animals in general is due to the fact that she'd frequently visit the aquarium in Burbank which wasn't too far from her house, and due to this she also enjoys not only horror but also ocean wildlife documentaries immensely (something tells me this girl would love studying the Hadal Zone as absolutely petrifying as it is)

Was on the swim team and gymnastics team before her parents' divorce, has a small panic reaction to the sound of people fighting because her parents would fight often

Runs cold almost all the time, fairly toned, pear body type in that she's a bit more bottom heavy

19 years old (and three quarters)

Posts the most on social media, asks for feedback on lyrics she's planning from her fans surprisingly often and posts short videos where she raps a few verses she's drafting

Has the worst sugar rushes and sugar crashes. Rumi can't say no to the puppy eyes or the way Zoey calls her 'Rumi-unnie' or the glaze-covered lips she gets from eating three whole entire donuts even though she knows she shouldn't darn it-

Was the first to suggest the group should have a kimchi-making day during winter, now it's tradition.

Genuinely sad that she can't gorge on all the fatty fast/junk food in a single day when she gets back to America and has to pace herself because Zoey your arteries are going to undergo heat death stop-

Coffee makes her sluggish and tired. Seriously one sip and she will pass out. Hot cocoa supremacy, preferably with whipped cream and marshmallows and sprinkles and fudge and stuff (same)

PTSD from being emotionally abused throughout her childhood, has obviously gone no-contact with her parents but does keep some level of contact with her half-brother (since he's also cut them off and has made some level of amends with her)

Has brown hair originally, dyed her hair pink as an act of rebellion towards her family

Speaking of her family, they were involved in a fracking and energy business and they had a lot of shady business practices and connections. Her identity wasn't the only reason she was seen as the black sheep/'problem child' of the family- it was also her strong moral compass.

Father cheated on his secretary so she's half Korean half Russian, which shows especially because she has traditionally slavic features like paler skin, higher cheekbones, sharper jaw, sharper face (HUNTR/X has a lot more to connect over than they think lol)

Tri-lingual (Korean, Russian, English)

Absolutely garbage eyesight (nearsighted-) wears contacts on-stage but glasses while going out casually or at home.

Most likely among the group to get sunburned. Now she has beef with her own skin.

They have a personal chef, but sometimes she cooks for herself and the girls. That or she takes it upon herself to order everyone takeout. Zoey has burnt down the kitchen more than one time, and Rumi's flavor palate has caused her to season the food way too much- and sometimes chop the cutting board clean in two while she's trying to chop vegetables.

One of her afflictions is resting mad face. She looks genuinely cold which causes people to shuffle awkwardly away from her on public transport but really she's just wondering behind that face 'I wonder if my favorite yangnyeom chicken place is still open'

The sleeping bag to the Met Gala was completely planned, she just didn't know people would love it THIS much especially since usually she has to put a lot more effort into handling HUNTR/X's fashion and dance choreography

She has gotten a LOT of items designed for her- just a few of them include a signature perfume and lipstick, there's a lot more that'd take all day to list lmao

Did a LOT of stuff in her rebellious phase to get her excess anger and energy out- graffiti, shoplifting, constantly getting into fights, et cetera. She's past that now that she has significantly healthier ways to cope and a family that actually communicates with her instead of just ignoring her or scolding her (oooo when I catch the parents)

Considers detaching herself from the judgement of her family and not pursuing their approval, attention and respect anymore as the hardest yet most rewarding thing she's ever done

Got the idea from Zoey to kiss and trace Rumi's patterns whenever Rumi feels insecure about them (good job you crashed her brain like a computer)

She values honesty and genuine communication. Rumi has expressed that she's spiraling a little bit over how Mira and Zoey would react to the truth post-Idol Awards and Mira reassures her that as the co-leader of HUNTR/X she would never blow up over tiny difficulties and that Rumi can trust her and tell her whatever, and no matter what she will drop everything and listen. She doesn't push though!

Sometimes she wishes that her parents hit her, perhaps then she would've realized that she was in an abusive home. But the isolation and draconian punishments and lack of privacy or autonomy were more than enough.

Has played 3-player FNAF (all three girls control the same computer) with the other two. It was a disaster.

Definitely had to take anger management classes as a kid. Got frustrated since she felt like none of the counselors understand her, and it took about three counselors before she found the one that actually took her seriously and trusted her.

Tries to play it nonchalant whenever the girls get to collaborate with other famous idols but internally she's passed the sun's surface temperature and overclocking her brain

More tan, golden-toned skin, tans fairly easily but she's cautious of the occasion where it's still possible to get red spots from sunburn. Naturally purple hair due to her demon heritage

Sleeps late, wakes up late. Literally needs to eat warm food and take melatonin pills so she can sleep properly

It took time and effort, but she did start to repair her relationship with Celine on new grounds. It won't be easy, it won't be the same- but they have faith that this time around, it will be better.

Her demon features besides the patterns include fangs, the obligatory pointed ears, one small horn that fades from her skin color to purple, retractable claws, etc. Sometimes it also includes the golden eye (or two golden eyes if she's REALLY mad)

She, like Celine, LOVES her routines. It gives her a sense of normalcy whenever everything else is spiraling out of control.

Most people don't notice due to how nice she is with others, but she's extremely guarded. It takes effort on both sides for her to open up.

LIVE👏LAUGH👏LOVE👏BOBBY, she will fight anyone who hurts him and so will the other girls. He makes sure the fans are taken care of and their creative vision is protected, they will literally fight anyone for him demon or human

Knows how to braid her hair because it was tradition to do so at her mother's grave every so often on the anniversary of her death and her birthday. It's basically muscle memory at this point

Felt quite embarrassed when the girls talked about their own feelings/past experiences of being excluded and feeling like they were between two worlds, realizing that her fears of being unaccepted where completely unfounded at the end of the day

Meat enjoyer and savory tooth Rumi is canon hit post button.

Has to be persuaded from not attending every business meeting so she knows the exact direction in which they will move into the future, girl let others handle things once in a while

Her main comfort object is the bracelet Jinu gave her, and the new norigae Mira gave her for her birthday.

Very passive with physical affection, too shy and insecure to initiate it so she just accepts what other people have to give her but never really asks for it if she needs it (until post-Idol Awards, our girl is learning)

Her hair care routine is basically classified information, no one has figured it out yet (Zoey and Mira are kinda there but you know they still got a long way to go lmaooo)

Sometimes has a deeper bass to her voice whenever she uses her demon voice ability and it genuinely gives her siren vibes (Zoey and Mira are not doing okay. one sample of that rumble and it just. yeah no we lost em chief)

Has muscles and slightly visible abs (Mira are you okay your nose is bleeding wait oh no Mira no nO MIRA NO-)

(Doofenshmirtz Voice) CURSE YOU RANDOMLY OCCURING STREP THROAT AND VOICE PROBLEMS. CURSE YYOOOUUUU

She usually freaks out that it's because of her demon blood and that she might lose her voice, which- sure, girl, sure. It's definitely not the fact that you're practicing until you drop because you can't get one line of one verse exactly right and it's like the end of the world

Has considered getting an undercut to accompany her braid. Zoey is the biggest supporter. Mira thought it'd be sick. Celine was the one who shut down that idea cause "damn I wish you could but like. PR." and Rumi just went "damn. maybe when we're older and we retire"

Has jumpscared people by walking soundlessly on accident way too many times, it gets to the point where she considers putting a bell on her norigae/any one of her ornaments

Sometimes gets taken off guard/overwhelmed by lights suddenly turning on in the night or by strong smells abruptly passing by due to having enhanced senses. like that is a flashbang basically.

HUGE eater due to her demon metabolism burning through her energy reserves. But that's only partially it, the girls also eat a lot (though not as much as her) due to demon hunting just. being a lot of work man.

She was initially insecure about her huge appetite until they shook her out of it like "girl. food is a human need. eat."

Laughed for literal hours when Derpy accidentally swallowed a bee and got his cheeks swollen by the sting
