Hello! This is Archer speaking.

And this is Sammy! He doesn't talk much but he's still an important character in the story.

We're summoned here to update the fans regarding the DIARYPLAN AU.

We're here to sincerely apologize for the delay of uploading new chapters every week. The creators are very busy at the moment but they will not stop until the story has finished, whether it is a good ending or a bad ending.

They are handling other important things as of now and one of them is upset because of the delay of uploading chapters lol

While we're here, we will answer some questions that the fans might ask :

1. Where is Daniel in the pictures?

Daniel is in first person view. What he sees, you guys see too. The only way you can see him is through mirrors or maybe reflections.

2. If Daniel dies, does the story end?

We will try to lengthen the story as much as possible but if he dies, the story ends.

3. What happens when they win the survival game?

5. Is this event limited time only?

It is. We plan on ending it before December but if the story still has not reached its ending, we will extend the duration.

Daniel and Hosuh's phone vibrate at the same time. They simultaneously look at their phones which caught Jay's attention. It gave him goosebumps when the green haired and the light haired men looked up at the same time. Jay did so too but noticed that the ceiling was about to blow up.

"GET AWAY FROM HERE!" Jay screamed out as he shoved Daniel and Hosuh as far as he could.

Hosuh tumbled while Daniel hit his back against the cafe wall.

The cafe exploded, blowing the debris away. Their hairs blew to the side from the sheer velocity of the blast.

"JAY!" Hosuh yelled.

Daniel felt his phone vibrate again. His eyes widened.

Daniel dies from getting shot to the heart.

Thank you for the support! This AU and interactive story was based off another AU in instagram but we just changed some parts of it to make it a bit more original.

We also love the fanplan's decisions with the game. Some of them changed the path of the game while others unlocked new possibilities.

DIARYPLAN - CHAPTER II

WARNING : THE CHAPTER CONTAINS DISTURBING AND FLASHING IMAGES. PROCEED WITH CAUTION.

Daniel glanced at the amount of messages he received. He showed it to Hosuh, who gasped in awe. The two boys kept the info in mind that the messages can also decide their fate.

“They are telling me to bring a screwdriver?” Daniel doubted as he looked at his friend.

“They have a point though,” Hosuh agreed, “You can fix things and maybe stab people at the same time with it?”

Daniel furrowed his eyebrows and went back to his phone, “Yeah, but I don’t want to kill people…”

Hosuh disagreed, “No, like you don’t have to. You can defend yourself and I think that’s what they meant.”

The two boys looked around the room. Daniel sighed, “Well… Guess I’ll bring a screwdriver,” he said before going on an adventure to look for a screwdriver.

Hosuh felt his phone vibrate, and proceeded to open it. He was a bit surprised that they can message him now. He thinks it’s the same people that told Daniel what to do. “O-Oh, I can receive messages now? Who are they?”

He went to where Dan was and showed him the messages. Daniel sighed in relief, it was just one of the people who guided them, “I have no idea who they are but it seems they’re guiding us what to do. Let’s think before we act and use the messages and our diaries to our advantage.”

Hosuh nodded and checked his small notebook like what the message told him to.

Hosuh didn’t know what to do, since there were new diary entries. Daniel noticed this, “Your diary guides the group on what to do, right? So I suppose we should follow what is written in your diary.”

However, the light haired male shook his head, “That’s the thing, I mean the reason why I don’t know what to do. The decisions inside my diary are based on what I believe so we could have good or bad choices.”

Daniel nodded and found a screwdriver, he proceeds to put it in his small bag near his desk and waited for more instructions on his phone.

Hosuh’s phone vibrated again, catching the attention of the two men.

Hosuh perked up from the mention of the news and shook Daniel’s shoulder, “Daniel, Daniel! The news about unsolved deaths!”

Oh yes, Daniel forgot about it since he was distracted from Hosuh’s diary. He grabbed the remote and switched it on the news channel. There, a female reporter was on television while a picture of a male with a light blue shirt and blonde hair showed up beside her.

“The unsolved deaths still continues. A sophomore named Evan Lousen was found dead this morning. His body was covered in multiple stab wounds and his neck had been snapped and cut. Investigations are still ongoing, but we found a lead. It seems that the murderer’s targets are usually people with smartphones. Furthermore, as they looked into the victims’ phones. The police found out that most of the info on their phones have erased, as if the phone was completely reset. The contacts, browser history, gallery, everything. Please be safe and never go alone. If you find anything suspicious, please contact us at *** *** ****.”

Daniel switched off the television, his head down low thinking what to do next. There’s a murder going on and they can’t go alone.

Murder…

Stabbing…

Stephen…

The news reminded him of Stephen, on how he would threaten them during recording sessions. But it was a friendly one so they didn’t take it seriously.

Daniel’s small laugh caught Hosuh’s attention. He raised an eyebrow.

“Now I would tease about Stephen doing the killings,” Daniel joked as he glanced at Hosuh, then his face became serious along with the atmosphere in the room, “But this is real.”

Daniel’s phone made a noise and Hosuh’s phone vibrated at the same time. The green haired male merely read the message and wasn’t in the mood to respond. On the other hand, Hosuh has something to say.

“Honestly, I think that the police won’t believe us that we can predict the future and may think that we programmed something in our phones that can function like that,” he frowned.

Daniel nodded, “But we will call the police if something terrible happens.”

The light haired male then thought of something, “What if the murderer comes after us next because they’re usually targetting people with smartphones.”

“Hosuh, a lot of people worldwide have smartphones.”

“Yes but what I mean is that the murderer could also be a user,” he argued.

Daniel didn’t think about it. The murder could also be a user? It does make sense. But what good will killing do? Catch the attention of the other diary holders? What if it was a trap? What does happen when one diary holder survives the game? The caller didn’t say anything on what would happen.

Daniel checked the battery percentage of his phone, it wasn’t very low but it is a good idea. He grabbed the charger and proceeded to charge his phone.

Hosuh glanced at his phone, its battery percentage was high so it wasn’t necessary. He then thought of something.

“If our phones turn off from low battery, do we die?”

Daniel sighed and pinched the bridge of his nose, “Honestly, I don’t know but let’s just charge our phones. I don’t want to find out.”

Hosuh’s phone vibrated again and read the message. He raised and eyebrow at it and looked at Daniel. He waited for it to come but it didn’t. He checked his small notebook and the diary still hasn’t updated yet. It was the same.

“What are they trying to do?” Hosuh pondered to himself.

Daniel agreed, “That’s what I was thinking…”

“Do you think the diary updates when something happens or when a diary holder does something?” Hosuh asked.

Daniel shrugged, his diary hasn’t updated yet either, “We will investigate this with Jay.”

The light haired male agreed, “Once you’re done charging, why not go to the cafe like what my diary says?”

“And wait for Jay?”

“I guess so,” Hosuh checked his small notebook again, “It says we have to investigate him because he doesn’t receive messages and diary entries like us.”

Daniel thinks that Jay is suspicious. But what if he wasn’t involved at all in this survival game? Daniel doesn’t want to start a fight nor distrust his friends but he guesses there’s going to be a lot of killings and deception around his circle of friends. He has to be careful.

Hosuh felt his phone vibrate again, he checked the message and smiled. They really do care about him and Daniel, “We will be careful. Thank you for your concern! We will listen to your warnings and keep each other safe!”

Daniel checked Hosuh’s message. Reading it gave him a boost of confident, “Hosuh, let’s go meet Jay alright?”

The light haired male nodded.

For how many minutes, Daniel’s phone was now fully charged. Hosuh brought a small backpack with him. Like Hosuh, Daniel brought a small bag. Inside it was the screwdriver, a couple of bandages, his charger, a small notepad, pen, and a dice.

He made sure to lock all the doors and windows in his house while Hosuh plugged off the necessary equipment in his house and turned the lights off. Daniel thanked him as he locked the front door of his house.

He put his keys inside the bag before walking to the nearest cafe with Hosuh.

“Daniel, tell Jay to meet up there,” Hosuh suggested.

The said male nodded and texted Jay to meet up at the cafe instead. The recording session is cancelled and he reminded himself to notify his fans on social media that they will be taking a break. Telling them the full truth would cause a mess.

Along the way, they came across a dead body. It matched the description of the dead man in the news. Evan Lousen. It was him! The police are investigating and they were all over the place. Yellow tape surrounded the dead body and the blood lingers in the air.

Daniel’s eyes widened, “Shit.”

Hosuh couldn’t believe it. A dead body of a human. An ordinary human that lived like the others. Dead before his very eyes. Citizens surrounded the scene but the two men couldn’t unsee what they had witnessed.

Daniel wanted to leave already but the screaming and crying of a man made him pay attention.

“It wasn’t me! It wasn’t me! I swear I am innocent!” A man in his late 30s cried out. Tears streamed down his face as he was being pulled away by the police. He struggled and kicked but judging from his appearance, he was weak.

“My son! I wouldn’t do that to my son! No!” Citizens threw things at him, calling him a murderer.

Daniel and Hosuh watched with heavy hearts as the old man was taken away. The green haired male looked down and went ahead. Hosuh quietly apologized and went after Daniel.

While walking, Daniel couldn’t help but ask, “Tell me Hosuh, was that person framed for murder or does he have some kind of disorder?”

Hosuh looked down, “I have no clue.”

“But what do you believe?”

Hosuh stayed silent. He pulled out his small notebook and saw that a new diary entry was added.

“It says here that I believed that he was framed, should I?” He looked up.

Daniel sighed,

“I don’t know, Hosuh.”

DIARYPLAN - CHAPTER 1

"W-what the hell is this?" Daniel questioned himself as he saw the message. Was it part of the game? He didn’t know if it was safe to answer it.

His green eyes scanned the surroundings, he feels safe in his house but something tells him that something is not right. “Well... There’s not really any danger around, everything is normal which is good. For now anyway,” he muttered the last part.

“I’m confused about this whole situation,” he sighed, “I just hope that it is someone just trolling with us or something...”

Daniel’s eyes lit up and proceeded to unlock his phone, “Oh yes, that’s a good idea! Hosuh is coming over to record anyway.”

Daniel waited for the knock on the door. He was glad that he was safe and sound. But he couldn’t shake off the feeling that something was wrong. Shaking his head, he ignored the bad thoughts and kept an eye on the door. 

A few minutes later, there was a knock on the door. Hosuh invited himself in and smiled when he saw Daniel waiting for him. He was wearing simple clothes, a sling bag on his shoulder and he had a luggage with him.

“Hey Hosuh! Glad you’re okay,” Daniel said as he gave him a hug. Hosuh patted his back and set down his luggage.

“So um... Did you get a call from someone?” he asked.

Hosuh’s eyes widened and nodded, “Yeah, it was very weird? It was from an unknown number...”

He showed Daniel his call history and indeed, the same unknown number was there in the list. He was a bit angry that one of his friends was involved in the mess, “Let’s ignore it. It must be a troll, just wanting attention.”

They were a bit nervous that someone got their phone number. Either someone was just pranking and messing by calling random phone numbers and somehow they got involved or they’re being targeted. 

“Are you sure Daniel? What if it was true, also are we talking about the same thing?” Hosuh began to sweat. Maybe they weren’t on the same page? That’s what he was nervous about at the moment. 

Daniel nodded, “If you’re talking about the survival game with the diary then yes.”

Hosuh looked down and clenched his fists, “I see... Are we still going to record?”

“I suppose we’ll postpone it,” He said as he looked at Hosuh sadly. Daniel was saddened by the thought of not posting videos. He was very concerned about his fans and about the content they were posting. What if they got bored already?

Hosuh noticed this and was about to comfort him, but they were both alarmed by the notification coming from Daniel’s phone.

Daniel proceeds to check his diary. The new entries were all about going somewhere with Hosuh because of this strange survival game. There was also the news about the unsolved deaths last night and this early morning. Both of them weren’t aware.

“Is that your diary?” Hosuh asked.

Daniel nodded, still looking at his phone, “Do you have one too? It surprised me at first when I received it.”

Hosuh nodded and pulled out a small notebook from his sling bag, “Mine’s written automatically in this small notebook. It’s a Guardian Angel diary. It tells me what to do to keep people safe.”

Daniel glanced at his notebook, he was a bit surprised that the diary could be different too. Hosuh was also surprised at first that Daniel’s entries were on his phone, “Mine’s a Cautious Diary,” he said, showing the rest of the entries, “It just warns me about something odd I guess...”

Daniel’s phone suddenly made a noise and a message popped up. Hosuh giggled at the message while the other male was flustered, “What are you talking about? I’m not scared!”

“But uh, I guess I have to tell others about this,” He pinched the bridge of his nose and checked his computer. He went to twitter and saw a lot of posts from his friends regarding the survival game. Some made fun of it while others complained. Hosuh peeked from Daniel’s shoulder and saw the tweets, “I see that others are also complaining?”

“I see that. I should address it as soon as possible.”

Hosuh sat down on the nearest chair and let out a loud sigh, “Why are we being targeted?”

Daniel shrugged, his eyes still focused on the computer, “I don’t know but this is honestly ticking me off...”

The said male’s phone made a sound again. A new message appeared. Hosuh grabbed his phone and said the message out loud.

Daniel raised an eyebrow, “Should we?”

“I-I’ll defend with my sling bag,” Hosuh stuttered. Daniel looked at him, very confused on what he said. Hosuh noticed this and continued, “I-I don’t know... Maybe it will block their attack? I don’t want to hurt anyone. Besides, who are we against anyway?”

“That, I do not know... I guess I’ll bring something to defend myself...”

DIARYPLAN - P R O L O G U E

"Mmmh..."

Daniel's face scrunched up as he heard continuous sounds from his phone. Irritated from the repeating audio, he opened his eyes and grabbed his phone. It was still 6:04 AM and his mind was still a bit sleepy.

"Oh yeah, I forgot," he grunted as he glanced at the time, "I have to make a video today..."

Daniel then glanced at the notifications filling up his lockscreen. He blinked, thinking it was just Twitter or Youtube filling up his lockscreen as usual.

But on closer inspection, he discovered that it was the Notes app, full of diary entries.

"Wh- what? I don't remember writing this down..."

Daniel unlocked his phone and opened the Notes app. He read all the entries, and was bewildered from the discovery.

Then suddenly, his phone made an odd noise and the entries changed. Daniel was a bit confused, considering he didn't remember that he wrote this down and he thinks that his phone must've gotten a virus or someone is hacking it. Without looking, he made his way to the bedroom door.

However, he halted in front of it. Daniel was startled by his loud ringtone. Someone was calling him. But who, how, and why? So many questions ran through his mind that he forgot to accept or decline the call.

Few seconds later, the call was accepted without Daniel's approval. He snapped out of it once the person on the other side spoke.

"Hello Daniel Lim," the caller spoke.

Daniel pondered. How did it know his name? Its voice wasn't distinguishable whether the caller was a female or a male.

"Who are you? Why did you call me? How did you get my number?" he asked.

"You're officially selected as a participant in the survival game. In this game, each player has their own kind of diary. These diaries are future diaries, which writes down automatically on what will happen based on your diary's role," the caller explained.

Daniel walked up to his desk while he was listening. His eyebrows furrow in frustration when he didn't receive any useful information about the caller nor the reason why it called.

"Seriously, who is this?"

"Your diary is a Cautious Diary. It tells you to be cautious about your surroundings and which certain events or things you should avoid. You can't delete it no matter what you do. But I will warn you, if your phone gets destroyed...

Y o u ' r e d e a d , "

Daniel felt shivers down his spine. He believes they're all a joke. But why did it make him shudder? Surely it must be a troll or one of those crazy fans of his. He made sure to be initiative next time.

"In total, there are 12 official players participating. A meeting will be held when necessary. Your phone can help you survive throughout the game so use it to your advantage. This is a recorded message, thank you for your cooperation,"

Then, the call ended.
