praying THAT prayer.
‘Lord, please remove the people out of my life if they’re not for me’
A simple yet powerful prayer that God will fulfil with urgency, although the process is often difficult and it’s hard for us to let go, especially if attached to the person. We can feel blind-sighted, the sudden removal leaves a sense of confusion because we believe that the person was meant to stay.
As humans our perspective of others is limited, God’s isn’t. We will never know anybody in their totality and what they’re truly like behind closed doors, we will only ever know people by their fruits (Matthew 7:16-20) - not everybody is authentic. God is ultimately saving us from future disappointment.
Despite some being blessed with strong discernment, there are people that are skilled at masking and have deceitful personalities, it’s difficult to discern whether someone is meant to be in our lives. It’s essential that we pray THAT prayer sometimes, and bear the short pain, because the outcome will always be in the will and protection of God.

praying for gain?
A lot of the time during prayer we ask God for things whether this is for physical or spiritual gain, although this isn’t essentially a negative thing - faith that God can do a lot for us is good. I think Instead, we should pray in gratitude, we should be content and be trusting that he has already done so much and will continue to do so. I think faith is shown where you subconsciously know that you don’t need to ask constantly and that God already has a plan as he provides (Yahweh Yireh/Jehovah Jireh) . Pray for the continuance of God’s grace and guidance in this journey before his nearing return.

Perception isn’t everything
Why am I presenting myself in a specific way, so that my age-mates can perceive and “accept” my unauthentic self?
Comparison is a thief of joy, constantly comparing yourself to others or getting caught up in being like everybody else becomes draining, ultimately you’ll lose yourself.
Losing yourself for the sake of other’s temporary perceptions tampers with the lifelong connection with your authenticity. Live in authenticity, strive for God’s approval not for other people.

Be Set Apart.
No. Not be recluse from people of the world or place yourself above non-believers and feel as if you’re too good to interact with them,
Be set apart, be the light in the darkness as Jesus was the light - we are children of God and as children of God we must become the vessel of God’s word, destroy all ignorance and educate non believers.
Jesus healed eight blind people in the gospels. Jesus will give sight, and help you see the light - as Christians we must aim to do the same.
We should do this whilst not conforming to the wicked ways of the world - be in this world not of it .
