The Famous Indian Bollywood actress Padma Shri Mrs Shabana Azmi seriously injured in an accident on the Mumbai- Pune Expressway In Maharashtra, When she was coming with her husband Mr Javed Akhtor after celebrating his birthday on Saturday. She got hospitalised in Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital. Although her husband Javed Akhtar did not suffer any injury as reported.

Shabana suffered head, face and arm injuries. He was earlier admitted to MGM Hospital in Mumbai. Due to not stopping the bleeding from the brain, he was shifted to Kokila Ben Hospital in Mumbai. Dr Santosh Shetty, Executive Director and CEO of Kokilaben Hospital said, "Actress Shabana Azmi's condition is stable and her health is being continuously monitored." After getting admitted, Veteran actress several celebrities Tabu, Anil Kapoor with wife Sunita Kapoor Anil Ambani, Tina Ambani Visited the Hospital. Javed Akhtar along with daughter Zoya Akhtar and son. Farhan Akhtar with his girlfriend Shibani Dandekar was seen outside the Hospital. Meanwhile late on Saturday, the doctors Started that injuries are not critical and she is stable now. An FIR is registered against the Shabana Azmi's driver for reckless driving by the truck driver into which her car Rammed. Javed Akhtar said after the accident, 'Shabana was shifted to the trauma ward. He is seriously injured and needs your prayers. This is not the time to talk about who was at fault. The driver is also not in a position to give a statement.
