For me, that's writing music, or going for a fly. But, since you're not so inclined, I would recommend going for a run, or a walk. Perhaps try to make art with your magic. Make a new spell that's sole purpose is to be beautiful, or to represent your emotions. If it would result in something blowing up, then do so in the Doomsday District.

Rebranding is going well! My audience is taking it well for the most part. Of course, a large portion of them are sad to see me "lose my sense." The papers and news stations are saying I'm a blight on my family's name. My own father has pointed out all the flaws with mine and the Princess' goals on his radio show. But! I knew the risks when I chose to do this, and it's turning out better than I thought it would.

As for the bellhop, he's endearing! A bit timid, but a swell fellow. I look forward to speaking with him more often.

Yes, I inherited powers from both of them. From my father, I gained shadow manipulation. From my mother, the ability to cast wards. As I grew and practiced, I figured out light manipulation as well.

How does any of the whole... Child thing happen in hell? And how ethical is it to bring a child into a world that you know is going to be awful? How could they ever be safe from the genuinely horrible people down there and how could you stop them from getting into horribly complex and dangerous situations? I mean, it's literal hell, the WORST of humanity is down there. If you know your child is going to go through actual hell for (seemingly), all eternity... Does that make it an awful act to make a child?

Wondering about the ethics of sinner born children makes my head hurt.

Well, in canon, it doesn't. But this is roleplay, and I do what I want (lighthearted). How ethical is it to bring a child into a world that you know is going to be awful? I'd say it's morally/ethically neutral, since people do it every day. How do you keep them safe? In Vincent's case, he spent most of his time in the hotel and was heavily chaperoned when he wasn't in the hotel. He never left the house without one or both of his parents by his side (both of which are powerful overlords). Hellborns are born into and live in hell for all eternity, so I don't see the problem with it.

These are all very good questions that I unfortunately don't have very good answers to. I can answer for Vincent's case, and that's about it. Either way, I enjoyed the questions, so thank you for sending them!

skin: How comfortable is your OC in their skin? Do they grapple with anything that lives inside them—a beast, a curse, a failure, a monster? How do they face the smallest, weakest, most horrible version of themself? Are they able to acknowledge it at all?

Vincent is very comfortable with himself as far as his physical appearance is concerned. However, he does not like his weaknesses. He hates even the possibility of his parehts perceiving him as weak, and does his utmost to ensure that they don't.

Ah, hello there! Yes, indeed, he did show up in their time of need. As for why, he's always said that it was a matter of boredom. He needed the entertainment, and watching sinners strive for betterment only to fall to the depths of failure seemed better than most things at the time.
