A look at the new difficulty settings and the returning Popka assist mode for KLONOA Phantasy Reverie Series.

For both games, you can now adjust the difficulty between Easy, Normal, and Hard. This will affect how many hearts Klonoa has, how much damage he will take if hit, and how many lives he will begin with. The distance of the wind bullet when fired will also be affected.

In Klonoa 2, Popka assist could be activated by pressing start on a controller plugged into controller port 2 of your PS2. Popka can then give a boost to Klonoa’s jump after which he’ll need to cool down a bit before using it again. It is currently unknown if there will be anything new added to this feature.
