Are you guys as excited as I am about the latest Benefactor’s announcement? I’m so looking forward to discovering Finland. Granted there is the New Year’s Eve gala in town first but -- snowy unknown lands? I’m all for it. What is the first thing you think you’ll do once we are there?

Happy Holidays! I’m not the best at picking up presents but I figure I’m safe as long as I give everyone their fair dose of nankhatai cookies.  I also decided to bring some laughs by gifting everyone a funny ornament that can be placed on your tree or hung in your car depending on your holiday vibe.  Thanks for being my friends!

You’re literally my mom’s favorite so it’ll work.  Are you buying or am I? I mean, I need to know how much money I need to put aside for this.

You know what, I love being your mom’s favorite. Unlike with my mother, I can get away from everything with yours and that’s a great power. For you, I’d buy anything -- I’m your sugar mama.

I try my best! It stresses me out to leave things for last minute, so I try to be as proactive as I can with big things like that that I know will take time. Aw, that’s so fun! I hope you’re all done with gifts at this point too. Are you excited now that Christmas is so close? I feel like it hasn’t quite hit me that it’s this weekend, if I’m honest. 

To be honest I’ve never really celebrated Christmas, it isn’t a thing we used to party for at home. But since my son is here, it has changed and it’s magical to see him enjoying that holiday so I was excited about it, indeed! But personally, I’m more excited about New Year’s Eve. What about you?

Some days, yes. And usually, she’s the one that ends up winning since I give up and move elsewhere. Those would be fun pets. I know I wanted a rabbit growing up so he could always live out my childhood dreams. 

She’s the real winner, no one can resist her. But I understand, I think I’d let her win too, if I were you. That’s what I think most of the time, but then I think of all the responsibilities coming with a pet and with Alexander not always being with me and me being at work all the time, I still think it’s not the wisest idea.

i wanna wish you a merry christmas from the bottom of my heart

While some of the best Christmas gifts you can give come from the heart, I am also a firm believer… that sometimes they come from the wallet. And this year, I really wanted to give my friends something that would mean a lot to them, and hopefully last them for years to come. Thankfully, I still have contacts at Tiffany’s, and this wasn’t too hard to arrange. In interest of full disclosure, the fudge was made through the week with my mother, I could never take credit for all of the flavors, but I hope you enjoy it none the less. Merry Christmas to each and every one of you. x

Personally, I don’t celebrate Christmas. But it feels like a good time to celebrate how every one of you has been important to me this year (yup, even you, Bardales!). So here’s something that I hope you will enjoy during a nice dinner with your loved ones.

You know that Christmas isn’t something I would celebrate if it weren’t for Alex. But I still think you and I should enjoy the Winter market and the lights together, have a friends night sometime before or after Christmas? I’ve heard too many nice things about the food we can get there to miss it. @saihajvarma​

I’m putting myself through the torture because it’s worth it. So I’ll be sure to load you up on some delicate cookies. Because I promise they are the most delicious. I would also be willing to teach you how to bake them and also pass along the recipe. 

Well, thank you very much, I appreciate the effort -- or the torture, although that’s probably quite a weird thing to say. But I’ll gladly go through that torture with you, perhaps it will be easier to do it with four hands instead of two.

What can I say? I’m a multi-talented woman! Just say the word and I’d be more than happy to make up a tray for you. I have a few types that I make every year. Chocolate chips, peanut butter, and sugar cookies. I do have a recipe for these very delicate butter cookies that are half dipped in chocolate. They’re delicious, but also a pain in the butt since they’re so fragile. I wind up breaking so many of them when transferring them off of the trays to cool. They’re so delicious that it’s worth all the trouble though. So I regret nothing. 

I can see that! I was going to ask for those delicate cookies cause they really really sound delicious. But that was until you said how annoying they are to make; I don’t want to give you some trouble.  But if you’re ever willing to teach someone how to bake them, I would love to learn the recipe.

So you don’t only make some great candles but you also bake amazing cookies? Alright, I’m jealous now. I’m kidding, but I do think it’s impressive. What is your favorite cookie to bake during holidays?

I know December has just begun, but I already feel so behind on all of my holiday baking. By this time last year, I already had multiple batches of different cookies already whipped up and ready to hand out. So far the only thing I’ve done is stock up on ingredients, which I suppose is something. The next few days off I have, I’ll be baking up a storm. So feel free to put in your requests now! @merrock​

Thank you, thank you. She’s a big noodle and takes up most of the couch whenever she gets on it. Is he mostly wanting a dog or does he not care about what animal he gets? 

Does it mean that you fight with your dog to decide who’s going to have more space? He mostly wants a dog but I believe he would be happy with a cat or a rabbit as long as he can play with the pet.

I needed a few weeks to get what I was working on done, so we had to start early. Home decor on the other hand, was on the back burner, just because my roommate is in charge this year. Oh yeah! Lucked out on some good candy, still manage to have some in that stash at this point? How was thanksgiving? 

You are very organized, that’s impressive! I started to decorate this weekend while I still had my son at home, so we decorated the tree and everything. I’m just late on getting gifts. Thanksgiving was nice, what about yours?

I love when it’s that really powdery snow, too, the kind that lays there and glitters and sparkles and really does make everything look a little more magical. Then if you have a night with a bright moon and lots of stars, it’s even better! Gosh, now I really want snow. Definitely, they’re the ones that keep you going. I am! I’m really excited, I haven’t done a charity run in a while, so I think it’ll be great. I’ll be there for all the high fives and encouragement as we go! I got it, you’ve dabbled, basically.

Me too, especially when it stays for a while and when cars dont come and destroy everything by making it look gray. Let’s hope the universe will hear us and give us some early snow! Me neither but I figured now was the good time to go back there and run again. Plus there’s the bonfire afterwards so it can only be a good time, right? That’s the right word, yes!

Pretty much! And I think they like me enough that they’d be upset. I appreciate you letting me live. You’re a kind soul. She’s a greyhound so she has legs for days, and her name is Bailey. Do you have a pet? 

I have no doubt about that, hence why I’m gonna behave and let you live a bit more. Aw, she must be so elegant and pretty. And she has a great name. I don’t -- my son keeps asking for one but I haven’t caved in yet.
