It was very cool to sit and listen to the final presentations, you can really tell the amount of work that was put into these projects. I would feel very nervous talking in front of more critics and I’m glad that we were able to do this process in 190 in a more relaxed environment.
The presentation we watched was very well put together and he presented very composed and took the criticism well.

I want to create a pavilion that does not have a traditional roof, I want something that catches the eye, similar to the serpentine pavilions.

Architecture School Reading
I found it very interesting learning about the amount of time that you have to invest in all of your projects, only for them to possibly be torn apart by critics. I thought that the jury system is a cool way to “grade/critique” projects. I’m excited for my future as an architecture student.

The first picture is from my home town called the New Lenox Commons, this is where people gather for social events. The second picture is the Naperville Riverwalk. The third building is Frank Lloyd Wright’s Falling Water. I’m from New Lenox, IL and I got my interest in architecture from growing up with legos and going to open house tours.
