School is starting up again next week, so I will be putting both my Alexandria and Lady Truth blogs on semi-hiatus status to give me more breathing room. Progress will be slow, but it will come.

[Made some icons for Monstrous Bird from the essence trailer since I have a sneaking suspicion she is Lady Truth. D.M. on the Japanese twitter refers to Emma as Truth, who is currently missing, so this gave me the idea Monstrous Bird is Lady Truth undercover once again but this put her in danger and needs to be saved by Mr. Inference and possibly D.M.]

The bright rays of the sun shown through the tall windows of the library as the light illuminated over the numerous covers filling the shelves. Walking between the rows was a young woman dressed in a detective's attire, her eyes scanning over the darkened letter of titles, absentmindedly biting at her bottom lip as she considered the options available. "There's gotta be something here about that castle, some kind of history or even some records I could dig up..." Muttering to herself as she looked over the many books in front of her.

Ever since returning from the Lone Moon Girl's School case, Lady Truth had been gathering information that could help locate her missing friend, a young girl named Anna. During the case, not only had she gone missing, but a professor at the school as well. Leaving the prestigious castle behind with little to no resolution to the case caused a bitter taste to linger in the girl's mouth, leading to her search for the day. Any records of what had gone on business wise was held by the current owners of the castle, but if Truth wanted historical accounts, they may be kept in the city's archives and library.

Several books were already clutched tightly to her chest as she let out a small huff, none of the selection remaining being of any use to her current investigation. Heels clacking against the floorboards, blue-gold eyes falling on the woman stationed at the front desk. As the librarian checked out the set of books the blonde had gathered, Truth pulled a golden badge from her jacket pocket. "Hello, I'm from the Orpheus Detective Agency. My name is Emma Woods and I need access to the achieves for a case. All I need to do is examine some files."

The older woman took careful glances at the badge, before giving a slight nod. After finishing with the books, she stood up and walked around the desk. "I'll need to go grab the keys, if you could wait here, Ms. Woods, it'll only be a minute. Smiling kindly, the detective nodded and began her small wait as the librarian walked away. Pulling out a notepad and paper, she opened the former to an empty page to prepare to write down any noteworthy information she may find

[So, apparently a novelization for the Truth and Inference manga suddenly dropped thanks to the Japanese twitter announcing it this morning. Only the prologue is out and it's not translated in English as of yet, but I still say it's worth checking out for anyone interested. The novel is free to read if you use the link they provide.]

Lady Truth HCs

~Lady Truth is not trained to use a gun like Mr. Inference, so she uses her tool kit as a heavy weapon should the need arise for her to need to defend herself.

~She lives in an apartment located within walking distance to the agency. Her home is filled with numerous flora, ranging from flowers to miniature trees.

~Her only pet is a big baby of a pit bull named Iris, who looks intimidating but is a lapdog. Iris is well trained and follows any command given to her by Lady Truth, capable of being walked without a leash (city laws require her kept on one though).

~When she was given to the orphanage, she was only a small child, being placed there by her father in hopes that she could be given a better life. To this day, Emma still wonders if her father is alright and if he would be proud of what she has accomplished.
