okay so we all know about the mouthwash being symbolic of the company as a whole, and "kills 99.9%" to show how that 0.1 (aka jimmy) will still be present.

but then you remember how the mouthwash is useless.

the sugar content, as anya says, removes any potential to kill the bacteria. while it claims to cleanse the harmful agents, it's just a way to sell product and not take responsibility for the fact it doesn't work.

curly told anya he would handle it. he told her he would kill that percent of bacteria that was causing her harm. but he did nothing. he was, one could argue, too sweet. he didn't want to start conflict with jimmy, he didn't want to confront him, and he didn't have a plan of what to do. so despite his initial promise of getting rid of the source of the problem, he ignored it, all while presenting himself as a trustworthy, reliable captain

Heads up, there’s a shop on Etsy selling charms with stolen fanart for Mouthwashing. These are all very clearly from different artists, and the rest of their shop is… very odd. It seems like they exclusively sold 3D printed.. things? I don’t even know. And then switched exclusively to charms of stolen Mouthwashing fanart. Etsy’s reporting system is strange, I’m not sure who to tell or how to get this shop or these items at least taken down. If anyone knows any of these artists, they probably ought to know..
