Attention, Mateus roleplayers! All Saint’s Wake is upon us and in the spirit of the holiday season we shall be throwing a party! Please come wearing your best and brightest costumes (be they spooky, cute, or otherwise!) and be on your scariest behavior!

WHEN: October 29th, 2017 at 7PM - 11PM PST (Whoops, we were supposed to host it this week, but alas! Something came up, so next week it is!)

WHERE: MATEUS SERVER, Lavender Beds, Ward 7, Plot 51!

What’ll we be doing, you ask? Why, a few things! What sort of All Saint’s Wake party would it be without a costume contest, first of all? Categories include: Best men’s, Best women’s, Cutest, and Scariest! Each category with a winner all it’s own! Grand prize winner get’s a headshot drawing by yours truly, of course, while winners of each category will obtain one of several minions!

Secondly, we’ll be ghosting (heh,) a game of Hide and Seek during the night, that also comes with a prize for whomever might find the very scary, very good-at-hiding Hallowed Knight!

Aside from those silly things, there’ll beverages, food & drink, and a night of dancing to your heart’s content!

We do so hope that you’ll join us!

What am I looking for? Role play! In specific, longer term role playing contacts and partners who can help create story arcs! I like character development a lot. Whether it’s major or minor.

How I view RP? I view role play as a story that everyone is writing. It isn’t just my own personal fan fiction for my character. Role play is a “book” that has many writers. Sometimes, a chapter closes and others help me write a new chapter.

RP experience? I’ve been role playing since the dark ages. Back when I was a younger teenager in the 1990s. When no one else was alive and only dial up and AOL existed. When we were forced to play table top! Oh, the horror.

Preferences? I like a variety of role play. There are some things I will say “no” to for personal reasons, but that rarely comes up in role play. The best thing to do is just say “Hey, here’s my idea!” and we can go from there.

Other IC information! Short background: Emeline was once an accomplished Astromancer, having studied in Ishgard and offered her services to the Maelstrom. She found herself in Rhalgr’s Reach, aiding the infirmary and then, the Imperials attacked. Emeline was one of the first ushered out of the city. She was unharmed, but she saw the horrific aftermath of the attack. Broken, she traveled to the Far East, taking solace with a friend there. Though, Emeline was not going to stay away for long. There was a need to protect others rising up within her and soon, Emeline sought out teachers on how to use the sword and the axe.

Her job: Once an Astromancer, Emeline is now a novice Marauder and slowly learning the Doman and Hingan art of swordplay.

Her personality: Quiet is something that most would use to describe Emeline. Timid may be another word. Funny that a woman like that has picked up the axe, but here she is. Once you get through the awkward shell of Emeline, you will find a lady. No, she is not a highborn Ishgardian. In fact, she is proud of her heritage as an Elezen of the Twelveswood. Emeline is kind, well spoken and slow to anger.

Possible RP hooks: There are a number of reasons you can and could role play with Emeline! - You could be from Ishgard and familiar with the Athanaeum Astrologicum. Though, I warn you that her time in Ishgard was not pleasant and she doesn’t care for most Ishgardians. - You could have encountered her during her work with the Maelstrom. She may have even healed you! - You could have encountered her in Limsa Lominsa. She has been a resident for many years. (Since ARR started) - You may know her from Kugane in the most recent months. Especially if you are there often.
