Since it’s Christmas I feel it’s most appropriate to bring this up but I think instead of being a hero yaomomo should’ve aspired to be real life Santa Claus, I mean think about it, her quirk allows her to create legitimately anything as long as she knows it’s make up and has enough food in her body, which is perfect since people leave out cookies and milk for Santa Claus so like why didn’t she do that instead? Is there already a Santa Claus in the mha universe? Do they have a Santa Claus specific quirk or something??? I HAVE to know. Cuz If I was born with momo’s quirk that would be my first thought, just become Santa Claus

I find it so funny in hsr when we learned the Ten Stoneheart’s cornerstones all do something different, like it just so happens aventurine got the drag queen soul gem that turns you into a Russian roulette Las Vegas gambling DIVA💜, and like, topaz gets low cost capital and a debt collector pig??? Okay.
The favoritism is definitely there.

dsmp lore in the big 2024 is not something I expected. But part of me is glad, I mean we got to see c!tommy healing, which is crazy. I was so big into dsmp a couple years ago and this honestly gives me some closure now that they essentially changed the ending. of course I still wish the other creators on that server got their time to finish their stories but at least now we can finally put this all to rest, properly. The dsmp was a hot mess and it ran its course. It was hell for the creators and some of them shouldn't ever come back. the dsmp was unique in its own sort of messed up way and I'm just upset it could've gotten a better conclusion if some of the people involved put more effort into it(you know who I'm talking about). Sometimes I think maybe it was a mistake made by the universe and should've logically, never happened at all and that's why it ended the way it did(LOL). Still, it holds a special place in my heart no matter how terrible it was. It was a good run while it lasted but those goddamn vods need to be sent back to the grave and should never see the light of day again jesus christ. I'm partially joking.

Been pretty busy recently so I haven’t been on this site much but I’ve seen it circulating around that there’s going to be an extra 60 pages of bonus content in the final volume, so that’s exciting!! 60 pages is A LOT I’m kinda scared. I really hope we get to see more content of them all as pro heroes, especially deku with his new suit, that would be so epic.
I also still have an ask to reply to, so sorry about that (◞‸◟)I’ll get to it eventually !! The question is very loaded and I want to give my honest thoughts when replying!

I think it's interesting because the parallels are also tragic. For example when Ochako was breaking down after Toga died, she said ''would it have been different if we met as kids?''.
tgchk being a reflection of bkdk,,,ouuu they make me so sick...I wonder if Horikoshi did that on purpose or if it just happened to be that way since a lot of the other relationships he focused on were very much centered around situations that happened in their childhood.

I am not sure if this is just me but I always thought Hori has always wanted BKDK to end up together, and I am not just saying this from a romantic perspective. I think he wanted them to be together, 'forever', as a duo and for that reason neither of them ended up in some other romantic relationship or marriage (aka the reason why izch didn't happen and narratively cannot happen because it stands in the ending Hori intended to give to BKDK).
Oh absolutely,,I do believe part of the reason izch wasn’t endgame was because mha is a shounen and its entire plot is focused around super powered kids, so any of its romance is going to be in the background, unless it's important to a specific character/or the plot. The other reason I believe izch wasn’t endgame was because–now hear me out, Ochako’s crush on Izuku was only for development and to lead her up to her fight with toga. That might sound extreme, and I’m not meaning to offend any izch shippers, I'm a multishipper myself and I love them too! But specifically from a writing standpoint, Ochako’s crush on Izuku wasn’t meant to go any farther than it did. Ochako’s crush came from a place of admiration for Izuku’s heroicness, and his willingness to risk everything for the sake of others. Her crush was meant to drive her forward in that aspect, allowing her to evolve as a hero, to become better–just like Izuku. It also gave her something in common with Himiko. As their first encounter back in chapter 80 Himiko tells Ochako that she knows she’s crushing on somebody, and tries to relate to her by saying, “Of course you wanna be just like the one you love. It’s natural” And their encounter after that she continues to try to reach out to Ochako, to convince her that she’s normal, that her desire to become like one ones she loves isn’t weird, and that she doesn’t understand why society ostracized her for her craving for blood if it was just a desire to be like other people. Ochako admittedly doesn’t recognize Himiko’s attempt at reaching out to be saved until it's too late. The end of her second fight with Himiko helps her realize this, after seeing her tears and finding the desire to help her welling up inside her, eventually leading up to their last fight where Ochako confronts these feelings and finally reaches out to Himiko. Just like Izuku she reached out to save someone when she saw their pain, no matter if they were a regular person or a villain. Her drive to become like Izuku helped her character grow into a proper hero, one who recognizes villains as people too, ones who also need saving. This is also why it was only really one-sided, because if Izuku had reciprocated Ochako’s feelings it would’ve been completely unnecessary to the plot. Ochako’s crush on Izuku was used as a catalyst for her similarities with Himiko. One that Himiko used to try and connect with her earlier on in the series. Izuku’s development stems from his relationship with Katsuki (and vice versa) . They have so many parallels it's insane. Katsuki needed to confront his complicated feelings about Izuku head on(bk the fakest idgaf-er on the planet). He needed to apologize and work at being a better friend to him. And Izuku, who constantly imitates Katsuki in battle, needed to learn not to carry everyone’s burdens on himself, he needed to realize when it's okay to ask for help and that it’s necessary to reach out to others when you can’t handle it all on your own. Izuku strived to save others but who would save him when he needed it? That’s why Katsukis apology is so so soo important and in the future when Izuku gets his suit, Hori specifically mentioning Bakugo being at the ‘heart of it’ was there for a reason! They were always meant to be together at the end even if it's not in a romantic way. They are literally soulmates. I cannot express this enough !!! (sorry if this is so long, I had to think about how exactly I wanted to respond to this. definitely got the gears moving!)

Ahhhh I love this!! These are some awesome connections I didn’t even think about the parallels between them as kids, their relationship contrasts so well with the rest of the other bonds in the series. They’re meant to be together no matter what.
And also to add onto the Ochako and Himiko point,,part of the reason their story was so tragic is that Himiko had to die for Ochako’s character development, with Himiko’s death, Ochako work forward to make the world a place she could live in. But even more importantly it was a showing of Himiko’s own character. And I mean yes Himiko could’ve chose to live and be in prison with Ochako giving her those blood donations, but that wasn’t what she wanted. Himiko wanted to live and love how she pleased, she wanted to chose her own future and her own way of life without other people forcing their ‘normal’ on her. That includes her death. In prison Himiko couldn’t be free and she’d likely be stuck in there for the rest of her life atoning for her sins. Himiko was a result of unfortunate circumstance, the world was not ready to accept her and thus outcasted her and treated her as a monster, which drove her to becoming a villain. For Himiko it was life or death. At the very least she got to choose her way to go, dying next to the one she loves and the one who didn’t reject her, instead accepting her love for the way it is.
every doomed conflicted dynamic: touya and shoto, toga and ochako, shigaraki and izuku, shigaraki and spinner, toga and twice, enji and touya (i mean all the todoroki fam actually). only bkdk wasnt doomed somehow, despite all the conflicted past and angst going on btwn their dynamic due to their past.
like think about it, bakugo and deku have known each other for years and saw each others lowest, but never really got separated in a real way despite everything, heck bakugo even died and REFUSED to stay death, came back and then the two of them just end the story together with bakugo inviting deku to the hero world again, reaching out his hand...? can you see the vast difference when it comes to each of these dynamics' endings.
THISSSS^^^ they have such an insane dynamic one I haven’t seen before to such a degree in any other media. Every other connection was doomed at the end, except bkdk!? I think that contrast says so much about the resilience of their characters and the strength of their relationship with each other. Those two were made for each other, they cannot exist without the other, they are together in every universe whether they like it or not.

Izuku was horrible after having to defeat Shigaraki that way, IMAGINE how much worse it would have been if he ended up without Katsuki too
Honestly I think he would’ve died,,if Mirio wasn’t there to reassure him Katsuki would live I think blackwhip would’ve consumed him and he probably would’ve died fighting Shigaraki. His movements would become increasingly more sloppy, disregarding any use of strategy as he fights with his mind full of anger and revenge. Izuku saw red in that moment, and I fully believe he would’ve died too if they didn’t try to save Katsuki.

Hows bakudeku doomed really, they were the only non-doomed ship lol. Everything else waa doomed in the narrative ... ahem tgchk? Like i am not even talking about romance. Almost every conflicted dynamic ended up being doomed except bakudeku.
No fr,,,togachako kills me I absolutely loved their story + dynamic and their ending was so tragic. But bakudeku? no way, those two REFUSED to be doomed by the narrative LOLL

I see people on this site say that bakudeku is doomed when in fact bakudeku is the only ship I can confidently say beat the doomed allegations by sheer willpower. It’s actually so funny. Like, Katsuki DIED and Edgeshot sacrificed his whole body to try and bring him back, JUST for him to run right back into battle because absolutely no way is he losing to that ashy freak and his wrinkly nut sack for a father figure. If Edgeshot didn’t do what he did I can’t imagine what would’ve happened to Izuku. The way he behaved after seeing Katsuki’s pale lifeless body on the floor has me truly concerned for him.
Honestly,,those two scare me…

This is actually took me a while to piece together but Izuku losing OFA wasn’t for his development it was for Katsuki’s. I just don’t see anyone talk about it, and Ik for some that might sound far fetched but like,,,,Izuku didn’t need to lose his quirk, it wasn’t necessary at all for him, and didn’t do much for him development wise. Izuku has always been selfless, and was born quirkless, if given the option to keep OFA or save Shigaraki, he’d do it again. The most important outcome of that sacrifice was the Katsuki crying scene. It was necessary for Katsuki’s development because that’s when he realized what was truly important to him, it was a loss of something he took for granted—Izuku being by his side. Izuku was always a constant in his life, It was something that he sorta accepted at natural, as inevitable, as ‘that it is how the world is and how it will always be’. He spent his younger years unsuccessfully pushing away Izuku and then eventually realizing his mistakes, then apologizing and working to fix their relationship. So Izuku losing his quirk, that future, that constant of always being by his side, was absolutely devastating to Katsuki. Which in turn had him work towards this goal of making sure Izuku got his dream in the end(since I personally 100% believe Katsuki was the one to bring up the suit idea, alongside All Might ofc), just because he could not stand the idea of Izuku not being there with him for the rest of his life.
This also ties into Katsuki’s redemption and the consequences of his actions, since I see a lot of people say that Katsuki didn’t face any real consequences after bullying Izuku, which he absolutely did!! And this was one of them. Katsuki is very much reserved in his emotions, and has a very particular way he goes about expressing them. So for this revelation to be so great that it immediately sends him into tears is a showing of his incredible devastation. Katsuki did suffer for what he did to Izuku in the past. But I guess most people assume that “consequences for your actions” is a stern talking to and a slap on the wrist from an authority figure, when in fact it’s much more complicated than that.
All in all this is just my interpretation of it,,!!

THEY ARE SO ❤️❤️❤️❤️ TO MEE
chuuya complains about how flimsy and weak dazai is when they were 16 and dazai tries to lift him bridal style there and then to prove that he actually has some muscle but he fails so cosmically that chuuya starts rolling on the ground laughing at him (chuuya is a lot heavier than he looks!) . now picture a very very frustrated and very very stubborn dazai making it his life's mission to gain enough strength to pick up and carry chuuya around (he succeeds) (there were many failed attempts at this before he succeeds)
