In these hours where only ghosts walked the night, whispered on drunken breaths. Moths swarm to the safety of street lamps, flickering and humming as it begs to burn out. On quiet nights the only thing to be heard was that electricity reminding you of it’s presence, as crickets call from some place distant in the mountains. But tonight it battled for attention against a speaker flooded with music, and the odd group of teenagers that grew more intoxicated as the night carried on. 

In a hollowed out pool, long forgotten to the years- now flooded with teens in their nauseated, dizzying haze. Clichéd in its own right, a play rebels without causes and teenage dirtbags.

All hail for a night filled with inebriated regrets and that carpe diem crap.

With eyes like mirrors, a blonde boy with a forgotten halo stares up to the girl who swings her legs over the pools ledge. Crushing debris, and cigarette butts, he comes to rest his back against the pool besides where she sits. He has no words to offer, from a parchment pale boy with talons usually where a tongue would lie- silence only stirs. In this forgotten space, where they were no more than teenagers, in a town that had long since swallowed them, he reaches into his pocket and pulls out a clear bag and holds it to Finola in question.
