Papyrus's tendency to mask his issues via his bravado because he wants to be liked is not synonymous Sans being unaware of said issues. One of Sans' most prominent character traits is his observation skills. If anyone can see through Papyrus's bs it is Sans. Why do you think he spends so much time trying to make sure Papyrus is happy? Fight me in the ring.
