how can ppl say cats dont have feelings like. 

when my cat got deadly sick she refused to eat a single thing and it had been days but when i started crying she ate just a little bit, and upon seeing how happy it made me, kept doing it whenever she could.

now whenever im sad or crying she finds wherever i am with a mouthful of food and eats the pieces one by one, every time looking up at me making sure i was watching her eat it all because she knew it made me happy. and it DOES make me happy

I've noticed that in the Kpdh fandom Rumi is Polytrix's certified night light, or glow stick as I've seen on other posts. Night light sounds better for me between the two tbh. Much more tasteful. Anyways, I'm not sure if this exact hc has been done yet so here goes...

Picture it. It's the middle of the night. Their apartment is super dark, but even in the midst of sleep... Nature calls. Zoey wakes up poor Rumi and makes her accompany Zoey to the bathroom

Alternatively, it would be Mira waking up to use the bathroom. But unlike Zoey, Mira doesn't disturb Rumi's sleep. But~ once Mira leaves the bathroom, she gets the shit scared out of her because a sleepy/grumpy/pouty/displeased Rumi was literally waiting for her outside. And Rumi would sleep grumble like, "Whe wer u?"

Mira: I had to pee

Rumi: *Hums in acknowledgement* Done?

Mira: ....Yes.

Rumi: Goo. Bed. Now.

Another scenario I see would be that it's late in the evening, but Mira and Zoey aren't quite tired yet and so Mira reads a book or a magazine to pass the time while Zoey decides to write more lyrics in her notebook. They could turn on their bedside lamps to do their nightly pastimes, but the girls decide to go with a comfortable light source, Rumi, who's already fast asleep. I imagine Rumi always has a set sleep schedule. Whether she wants to or not. Make sense to me because she's a workaholic and rarely gets to relax anyway. Mira and Zoey, on the other hand, I see them being night owls

Ultimate scenario: City power outage

*Mira and Zoey scream out for Rumi from different parts of their apartment*

Rumi: *Sighs fondly*

A night light's job is never done lol

Oh, l almost forgot about this tid bit! Just like how Rumi accidentally scared the shit out of Mira by just being there, I pretty much imagine the same thing too with Derpy sometimes

Just saying. Derpy may be an adorably cute demon tiger, but I quite imagine him being unintentionally scary too sometimes. I think it'd be rather scary just seeing Derpy in a dark part of the room, in the middle of the night and he's just... Staring into nothingness with that derp look/smile on his face. Add the slow ass blink, and it will probably be even more scary/creepy (to me)

My gf mentioned that she also sees Derpy being a night light too for the girls. And while I do agree with that thought, I also see him not being around all the time since he is a big cat and he likes to roam about. So Mira and Zoey settle for their Rumi. Though, sometimes, when Rumi genuinely does want her alone time she'd look at Derpy and be like, "We can switch, right?"

That's about it for this hc ramble. These are probably not too interesting, but I came up with these hc scenarios because they amuse me and they were fun to write. Polytrix fluff means everything to me, humor too 😌

WoW/KPDH crossover where Rumi hiding the fact she’s actually undead. She died years ago but Celine managed to find her and protect her long enough to hide it from everyone.

Now, her, Mira and Zoey are a group of champions, and Rumi has to regularly hear pretty much everyone talk about how horrible and unnatural the Forsaken are, How disgusting, how awful, how untrustworthy all undead are.

I don’t have a plot for this. I just think Rumi should get to eat people if they’re mean to her.

autistic Mira who was constantly told to "fix her face" because she makes the wrong expression at the wrong time or doesn't emote enough for her neurotypical family to be satisfied with her reactions about things, and the only times she really emotes around them is when she's angry but she gets punished for that as well

autistic Zoey who would spend hours upon hours researching marine life and have no one want to listen to her except for her halmeoni who was really only half-listening but Zoey was so excited to have someone express a tiny bit of interest that she rambled anyway

autistic Rumi where she takes things very literally and has a difficult time understanding sarcasm. she asks a lot of clarifying questions. she has to force smiles bc trying to emote the right way is like trying to slowly crank a dial and accidentally turning it up to 11

Fic idea: could be canon universe, could be au. The girls have a dedicated gaming night where they all go in their rooms to play games (sorta like a parallel play situation). What they don’t realize is they’re all playing the same MMO together cause they’ve rarely talked about their online friends to each other.

Cue conversations with “online friends” about having crushes on roommates while the only thing keeping them from the truth are thin walls and digital avatars.
