Currently working on a sunflower afghan a friend has commissioned me for. I'm super excited to make this, but I can't decide how large I want it to be....but I guess I can just make a shit ton of these squares and decide later when I start to join them together. And if I have enough left over I can make a matching purse!

Sometimes its needed to sit down and make something just to make, especially when you are feeling burned out on your craft. And that's exactly what I did, i took a break from making things for my store to paint this sign, just to keep the creativity flowing! I wanted something pretty, but also kinda "vulgar", and I was inspired by the sunrises here in Indiana for the background...and for the words, I really liked the idea of it looking like someone slapped a sticker in the middle of this painting! A couple of hours later and we have this!😁

Life update:

My orientation was a success! My first shift is on Sunday. I've not been this excited for a job in quite some time. I have heard my parents say that they are proud of me more in the past couple of weeks than I have in my entire life. I feel like I have finally started down the right path in my life.

So I've been out of a job since the end of March/beginning of April. And I've finally gotten a job offer! I'm setting up my orientation date in the morning (7/29) and I'm super excited for it! Not only am I excited to start working and earning money again, but also because I'm starting at a craft store, and itll be a big help to be able to get supplies for my small business! Kenzy's Crafty Clutter will have more stock updated soon! If you have suggestions on what you'd like to see in the shop just let me know! And don't forget that my container candles are custom made to order!
