It was well past midnight now… you glance at the twitch stream, barely any followers and no subs… well, no pocket money tonight then. You finish your glass and pour another as you waited for a new match to load.

You had work in the morning, but you didn’t care… you didn’t care about anything anymore. You worked a shitty 9 to 5 at the crappiest gas station in existence, your boss was an asshole, your car had broken down and you couldn’t afford to fix it, you lived in a tiny 1 room apartment, And your pay cheque was hardly enough to cover rent never mind buy groceries… And to top it all off? Your manipulative mother squeezed every penny out of you she could to fuel her lifestyle… And you let her. Why?

Because isn’t fake love better than no love at all?..
