the exteriors do NOT look like casita from Encanto, in fact, most of them are just big boxes with a little bit of color, also we don’t have open entryways, we usually have gates surrounding the main door.

we also don’t use the typical american mailboxes, we use the small metal ones like the ones from City Living and Snowy Escape.

and most of us have this metal things around the windows for safety reasons so if you want to add them it would make your builds more realistic

a tip for the interiors is that we don’t use carpet or wooden floors, we use tile floors in all the house, also the walls are usually plain white but of course some of us paint them to make it feel more like a home so you can also add that

here are some floorpans in case you need some inspiration, as you can see most of the houses are not that big, but of course you have freedom to make them bigger and also make your own floorplan.

now moving to the patio area, most of our houses don't even have patios but if we are lucky we will have a small one like these, don't forget the water heater, we also have lavaderos where we wash our clothes but I think the sims don't have any item similar to that one so you can just put a sink instead, you can also add a washing machine and instead of a dryer, you can add a clothes rack dryer like the one from Laundry Day

and if you don't want to add a patio you can do everything in the azotea (the rooftop), just add a small stair inside or outside the house that leads you to the roof, don’t forget to decorate and add life to the houses.

and to finish this thread I just wanted to say that this is not how ALL Mexican houses look like, we have so much diversity in our country, I just wanted to add the ones im familiar with, you can look up higher class Mexican houses, you can create ranchos, vecindades, haciendas, colonial houses etc, I hope this thread helps you <3

I need everyone to sit with me on the floor for a second. You guys remember this is a community centered around a dress up game, right? A simulation game. You know. EA once stared down at SimCity and asked themselves: "hey! Those people screaming down there, because of the alien attack, what are they thinking about?" And then we got The Sims. This is what this community is about. You remember that, right? We're all just a bunch of nerds (affectionate) playing a videogame. We are ALL nerds. You are not the cool kid for bullying another nerd. In the end of the day you are also a nerd who's obsessed with a game. And I mean this with all the kindness in my heart. We were supposed to be sharing our little colorful pixel people and cheering for each other's games and stuff. How does "hey this modder didn't update my favorite mod in 5 days now. I should expose their address online for strangers to harass him personally" comes to one's mind??? Over a dress up simulation game???? Hello??? Respect your other nerd friend! Stop biting, kid! Okay so this isn’t an art related post but  So I haven’t been able to really play sims 4 much for a while and got irritated by that and lost all motivation to play it  Because it was pretty broken- so laggy it was hard to play it for more than maybe a hour before I just ended up rage-quitting  I just I just recently figured out the issue and I feel stupid  I had a mod in there I haven’t updated for 2+ YEARS I’m an idiot  But yeah expect @jaydes4 to be back up and running once I get enough content to post!  I can finally play my main save again, which I’m excited for! I also got lazy and decided to download lots! I’ll still try to build some, but expect most to be downloaded. If you ask where to get them, send an ask to my s4 blog @jaydes4 and I’ll do my best to find where to get it!  Anyways sorry for the lil bit of rambling @jadestoneproductionss4cc should also be up and running again too, so keep an eye out!

Just a little morning flirt, then later they ended up making it official They’ve been flirting on and off, but they recently got together and they’re honestly really cute \o/ 5th gen is coming soon! Admittedly I’ve been rushing through the generations quite a bit for a while, calmed down a little with Arcane though I’m going to have them have a bunch of kids then just Idk? I guess just play the game and not focus on future generations

So first time playing sims in a while! At least Sims 4 While Cassidy worked on her programming skill (I decided to have her go into computer science once she gets into uni) The next day he got a toaster!!!! The toaster mod by Necrodog is so nice tbh  He just ate some while watching TV before work and Cassidy came down for some toast too Sadly I didn’t get many pictures :c not much happened

So in order from top to bottom Tegan Mia Ember Nero I’m honestly not the biggest fan of how Ember turned out honestly I made them a pretty long time ago at this point They’re from a book I’m hoping to write, but it’s still in the planning stages What do you guys think of them? Makeovers or nah?
