I’ll be on Reddit and there’s a post written by some poor suffering woman like “my husband screams at me in front of our toddler and says he hates my guts and wants me dead and doesn’t contribute to the housework/child rearing and leaves doo doo skid marks on our couch” and when people are like yeah ma’am I think you need to divorce him and go stay with your mom or something, she’ll say “but he’s such a great father!” Like…what about that behaviour says good father to you…the bar for being considered a “good father” must be lower than hell itself because Jesus Christ
