which reminds me that a giant name Ginny visited me right here in Aven last week! He delivered my first messages from my clan since i have been gone. I was very very pleased to hear they are doing well. he also gave me a letter from my father(which were just symbols carved into a stone that only tribespeople can understand) and i realized i almost forgot how lucky i am to travel this far from home. i miss them dearly though. Ginny passed onto me many stories. Ive already been gone for years, I realize. Despite thinking of aven as my home now, perhaps I should visit them soon.  but Ive always been afraid that if i return home to quickly, ill never want to leave again. but since im deep into my studies, for now ive summoned a messenger bird so that Ginny can take it back with him. i can send them news much more quickly, if i can get father to write on paper for once...

i start to long for home during this time of year! it would be frigid and terrible though. and the human settlements usually loose lots of people during the winter back north. but us yeti are alright!

8) Talk about the thing you are most proud of.

I am most proud of where I come from! There is, of course, my dragon blood. I am a very proud dragon. However I feel the yeti people are often overlooked as a people! Consider this- we are reclusive yes, but we have thrived as communal tribes for hundreds of years. We have our own old magic and old histories that many from the outside will never know of. The polar regions are a very mysterious place to call home, to outsiders. But to me I could think of nothing more great than my mountains in Alfgaborameqk south of Omberloc in the Tall Pines. Oh, and if you visit sometime do say hi to my tribe for me?

11) Talk about the best dream you've ever had.

I don’t dream much? The shaman mother back home used to tell us that everyone dreams, but you only remember the important ones. Well, I don’t think I’ve had any important ones as of late...

32) Talk about a place you remember from your childhood.

I never really left my tribe when I was a child so...Oh! I can tell you of the time during the snow melt season. It is one of the few times we see the soil and see the flowers grow. The little girls and elders would keep the seeds during the rest of the year and plant them when the snow began to loosen. It was my favorite time of year for a long time- and the reason I love flora so much, as i never saw much of before I left the North.

39) Talk about things you wish you'd known earlier.

I sure wish I’d know you could not eat cacti whole! And that people would look at you funny for trying to skin an animal in public or that you weren’t s’pose to barter with the tax collector or a very long number of things before I came to Adventurine!

6) Does your OC have a realistic image of their own intelligence?

god, no. Aedan really isnt the calculative type to even bother measure her own or other’s intellect. shes pretty simple; you learn something new everyday, no matter who you are. of course, aedan probably thinks shes more well learned than she actually is.

7) Does your OC have any irrational phobias?

Aedan is deathly afraid of being controlled or not being in control of herself. while thats not inherently irrational, she tends to misjudge the sort of people who can accomplish that sort of thing, such as hex magicians or necromancers. doesnt trust em.

8) How is/was your OC’s relationship with their parents?

Aedan has never met her mother, but she has an extravagant fascination and adoration for her, as with dragon culture in general.

As for her father, Aedan absolutely loves her father. She was his pride and joy and in turn she respected him as the leader of their tribe. It meant a lot to her that he let her leave their mountain in the first place and she misses him very much.

((Aedan has been in the process of maturing in a lot of ways. She’s finally more comfortable in aven and fitting in as well as a yeti-dragon possibly could. Aedan no longer works at the library and is under the mentorship of a well known scholar down in Umber. He claims to have met Aedan’s mother once or twice, therefore she is infatuated with knowing more. She’s also, of course, still living with Idris but they have moved residence to Tiger’s Eye due to Idris’ ‘new job’.

As for exciting, Aedan recently gained a little notoriety for unknowingly taking down a dangerous game that had been on a hunter’s guild board for over five years. Lets just say the old men in that guild were a little steamed.))

who cooks normally?:

id say both of them cook all the time! they eat as much as theyd cook. theyd probably prepare big meals together whilst chatting, trying new recipes all the time from shopping trips or hunting game.

how often do they fight?:

i wouldnt think them the type to fight. both of them are sort of the justice types and would want the same things most of the time. however, i wouldn’t say they never argue or come to a disagreement? aedan is not very argumentative, shes bold but isnt the type to disagree with the person she trusts. but if there is absolutely something she believes in wholeheartedly, shed fight the matter in hopes of making janus see her point of view. she can be stubborn, reckless at times.

what do they do when they’re away from each other?:

haha im sure aedan mulls over and sulks constantly in boredom, tries to clean or cook something while theyre away and it just isnt the same. theyd probably do their best to improve themselves or impress janus for when they return. on the other hand i think janus would think about her quietly or glance at a picture while hes busy doing whatever hes doing.

nicknames for each other?:

LMFAO WOW I DONT KNOW. aedan would be affectionate with names when theyre alone but? in public shed just refer to them as janus. aedan is the type to just call her partner ‘love’, or ‘darling’(Rarely)

all kinds of things from enchanted weapons to ingredients...its not hard to impress aedan and janus appreciates whatever youd give them i expect.

i think both of them remember things quite well. aedan is a bit of an airhead though, so janus moreso.

aedan hardly curses? maybe janus? neither of them have big potty mouthes hHA

what would they do if the other one was hurt?:

if someone hurt them, aedan would get mad. have u seen aedan mad? me either. shed probably want revenge immediately after she gets them to safety. and since she knows little to nothing about medical treatment shed probably panic a little. even if they like, ran into a pole shed be like bad pole ill kill you

not sure about janus but im sure its similar. hed probably know what to do and be more level headed about any situation

janus intentionally, or aedan unintentionally. aedan is slow to realize she likes someone, but when she does shes probably like a lovesick puppy and will get flustered easily.
