i dont want to hear about jack and bitty being terrible and irresponsible and letting other people take on the consequences of their coming out.

because the consequences are going to fall on jack and bitty. the vitriol, the snide remarks from commentators, the glares and looks of disbelief are going to fall on jack and bitty, not georgia, not the pr team, not the falcs in general. like yes the pr team and georgia are going to have to work a little more, but they’re all one step removed from the negativity and attention.  

and jack and bitty kissed because they were overwhelmed with happiness and love, of course the best course of action would be to have given some people a headsup, but when you’re that hopped up on adrenaline you don’t think so much. 

if someone told me that i can’t spontaneously come out in front of everyone in the family because it would embarrass the FUCK out of my parents i would be like “yeah of course, can’t embarrass my parents by being queer because it would affect them the most” before flipping said someone the finger.
