Prece a Apolo por Proteção/Prayer to Apollon for protection
english:
With fragant frankincense I chant the prayer carried in the smoke of laurels. O wolf-eyed child, O God of the silver bow, O lord of the tripod-throne, O healer with voice of bliss. I sing of Phoebus, always flourishing, Be it summer or spring, In Hyperborea, He is courted, the Immortals feasting with lyre's song, In my life be present , I sing. Bring soon the gentle Harmony, well-dressed Peace, the inspiration of the Muses, the counsel of Foresight and welcome Health. O Apollon of unending light. Take up thy instrument, keep evil afar.

Apollon is not a man with a lyre. Apollon is the lyre. Apollon is the pluck of your finger on the string.
Apollon, the hum of a singer's vocal cords.
Apollon, is the stroke of a paint brush.
Apollon is every drawing of Apollon.
For he is every song, every dance.
He is the act of me swallowing my nightly medication. He is the health I have.
Apollon is love but he is also pain.
He is the sickness and embarrassment.
A failed art carrer, depression, mania, a wrong diagnosis.
He is all art and health.
Without the bad I would eventually forget how beautiful the good can feel,
To Apollon I pray.
