Hello Kiss
@beaniesandblackcoffee
“I’m sorry, I must have mistaken you for someone else. You look exactly like my next date.” Delic said without missing a beat.
Raising his hands up defensive. “I’m Delic, and I think I am making a move an incredibly handsome man. Sometimes a bold move is the best move.”

“No, why would I? I have a beautiful voice.” Delic replied.
“Do you ever get tired of looking in the mirror? I don’t, and I wouldn’t if I were you. What’s with the silly questions?” Delic asked.
Apparently being upfront about not being in the mood today and dealing with Delic’s flirts wasn’t obvious enough for the other to understand. That, or it was so clear that he was convinced it meant otherwise. Typically, the princess was pretty good at managing an real conversation but right now –
“I hate to interrupt, but don’t you ever get tired of hearing yourself talk?”

“Yes! I am going to shoot you in the head with this thing!” Delic said, full of enthusiasm.
Delic looked at the device and pointed it at Azami. “OK. Let’s do this! Pew pew! I’m going to get you”
Delic strapped the gear on, and then moved to where he was supposed to stand. He was pretty sure he’d do fine. “So no climbing, but what about jumping?”

“I don’t really know. It’s OK. I usually only eat it when a client wants to go out to get it, or when I meet someone who wants to try it. It’s expensive and dangerous. It tastes pretty good, but I would rather eat soup right now.” Delic said.
Delic pulled Mikado into the taxi. “Take me and my kitten here over to Imperial’s Toms.”
The man driving didn’t respond but took off.
Delic pulled Mikado closer, and made intense eye contact with him.
Delic put a finger under Mikado chin and pulled his face right next to his. “You have such beautiful eyes.”
Delic held his gaze for a long moment before the taxi stopped. Delic climbed over Mikado slowly and got out of the car. Grabbing Mikado’s arm, Delic pulled him too close again and smiled down at him. Tossing a few bank notes into the window, Delic led the way to a upscale restaurant.
Taking Mikado’s hand, he led him into the establishment. As he walked inside, he approached the host with a grin. “Just two.”
The host nodded and led the way to a table. Delic pulled a chair out for Mikado, and pushed it in when he sat down. The waitress showed up immediately and bowed.
“Two vodka cranberries.” Delic said. The waitress bowed again and left.
If you didn’t want me, why did you beg?

Don’t want to break? Oh, is this going to be dangerous?
Delic approached the locker and then noted that you had to insert a 50 yen coin to get the locker to open. Pulling one from his pocket, he inserted the coin and the locker opened and the key that was in the locker’s lock turned slightly.
Delic took the key and put his headphones inside of it, and his music player. After a moment he decided to put his suit jacket inside too. That left him with just his cell phone, but he didn’t think it was going to break, and even if it did, he could replace it easily enough.
Delic put the key in his pocket, and then closed the locker, which made a solid clicking noise. Delic tried to open the locker gently, and found that it was, in fact, locked, so he left it to find Azami.
“I’ve never been here. What are we going to do? A round of what?” Delic asked, looking around. The place looked strange to him. He’d never been to a shooting range, or held a gun, so it seemed like a dangerous place.
“Are we going to shoot something? I don’t really want to hurt anything or anyone...” Delic sounded a little worried, but not for himself.

“If you want to be safe where we are going, the extraordinary need to know you are... accounted for.” Delic said.
“You’ll need to wear a necklace that shows that you are with me, or someone else might snatch you up. You didn’t believe me about vampires... but I assure you that we will see a few tonight.” Delic said.
Leading the boy outside, Delic lit a cigarette and walked down the street.
“I’m hungry, so let’s get something to eat. I’ve already had your necklace ordered. If you don’t want any other jewelry that’s fine. Have you ever had blowfish? Oh, no, let’s get soup. I know a good place. All they sell is one bowl of soup.” Delic turned and flagged down a taxi.
“Do you like soup?” Delic asked.
If you didn’t want me, why did you beg?

“It is truly impressive, his creative ability.” Delic said. He made people after all.
“As for this restaurant... it’s owned by a friend, so I can eat here for free. Even if it is expensive, I only have to pay for your meal. And I’ve got enough extra money to enjoy a fine meal with a fine beauty.” Delic said.
“I’m not trying hard at all. This is just me.” Delic said, pushing in her seat and sitting across from her.

“Cost? Not too much, don’t you worry. It’s just one suit. You’re also going to need a necklace, and something to cover your ears in case you want to dampen the noise where we are going.” Delic said.
“What sort of jewelry do you want to wear? Mind you, when you leave, I’ll be keeping all of it. You can wear it again if you come out with me again, kitten.” Delic said. “And don’t worry about cost, I’m friends with most of these people, so they give me very good prices.”
If you didn’t want me, why did you beg?

“I’m sorry, Ryo-chan, I can’t take you to heaven, so there is no way to get you back home. I can take you anywhere else, even paradise, but not heaven.” Delic said.
Taking both of her hands into his, he held them firmly as he looked her in the eyes.
“I’ll do everything I can for you! Please, give me any order and I will follow it!” Delic said eagerly, but not loudly.
“You want to go home! I’ll take you home, come with me quickly!” Delic let go of one of her hands, and then pulled her along with the other to the main streets, and then led her to a small cafe.
“You look hungry though, so we better eat first. No need to argue, helping people in need is part of my duty! After you eat, maybe you will feel clear enough to actually give me a real address and not just something vague like ‘home.’” Delic gestured for her to take the seat her pulled out for her.

Delic noticed the blush more than he noticed anything she said. Even if she wasn’t acting like she liked it... maybe she was just shy. Plus, if she was so bored she was going to read such a big and boring looking book...
“The police usually show me their badge with their gun, now that I think of it. And they usually shout ‘Police!” and they usually don’t have such great sense of style. I do gotta say, those look great on you. I can only think of way to wear them better.” Delic said, sitting across from her.
Looking at the barista, Delic snapped his fingers. “Frozen Strawberry vanilla mocha! Biggest you have! Please!”
The barista frowned at him. “You’re going to have to pay--”
Delic quickly folded a bank note into a paper airplane and threw it at the man. It went surprisingly fast, and the man reacted to being hit by it in the chest as if it had force behind it. Unfolding the bank note, the barista made a small note of surprise.
“The rest is your tip for delivery~” Delic said, and then looked back at the mystery girl. “Maybe the coffee will make you warm up faster, and we can get to the springtime.”

Delic allowed himself to be pulled, and then pulled Mikado out of the cafe and into his arms. "You're just adorable but..."
Delic pointed at the sky. "The real fun can't happen while the fire still burns in the sky."
"But that's just as well. You can get there dressed like you are. You can go to some of the most extraordinary places dressed entirely boring, but you can't go to any of my favorites dressed like a highschooler. Do you know why it is so rare for the ordinary to see the extraordinary?" Delic asked, leading his kitten down the road.
"The extraordinary usually despise the ordinary." He answered.
"Mistrust between the two, you know? But I'm sort of a vampire for the extraordinary, not literally mind you, though I've met a couple of those, but I merely meant that I can turn the ordinary who want to be more into the extraordinary. As long as you're with me, you'll be safe." Delic said and then spun around.
"But!" Delic bopped his kitten's nose with the tip of his finger. "You need to dress the part. What colors do you like? It doesn't matter right now, but I'll keep it in mind for the future."
"Let's see what Markus has in stock." Delic said to himself, pulling Mikado into a upscale men's suit store. They were immediately greeting by a man upon walking in, who recognized Delic and smiled.
"Ah, good afternoon sirs, I take it you'd like to speak with Markus, Delic? He's still working on your last request, but if you have any alterations?" The man asked.
"No thanks, Kaito, but I need to get my kitten in something nicer than this drab thing he's wearing so I can take him to..." Delic looked at Mikado for a moment and then smiled. "You know where."
Kaito bowed his head and led them over to a section of the store. "Find anything you like, and I'll make sure Markus knows you will be requesting a quick tailoring."
"Thank you, Kaito." Delic said, handing him a bank note from his suit's pocket. Kaito bowed again and left.
Delic tugged Mikado along and stopped in front of a white dress shirt, feeling it gently. "Mm. Yes. A sheer broadcloth..."
A moment later a rather large man, clearly a tailor by his dress and the tools he carried approached them. He wore a massive grin and all teal. Shoes, socks, pants, belt, shirt, vest and shades. "Delic! My favorite customer!"
Delic turned and grinned. "Markus! I heard you say that to Tom last week!"
"You are both my favorites! I can't pick between the two of you! What do you need my friend?" Markus's accent and name pegged him as clearly German.
"My kitten here needs a suit. White broadcloth shirt, pink cashmere suit. I need to by the end of the day as well." Delic said, with an apologetic shrug. "Sorry for the late notices but--"
"Nonsense! This is plenty of time! I have just the thing, nearly his size I am sure of it. Come here kitten of Delic's, we will get you sized." Markus said, roughly grabbing Mikado's arm and leading him to a change room.
Inside the room was a small stage with a few steps leading up to it. Markus pushed him towards the stage and started getting out his tools. Before Mikado had much of a chance to react, the man was measuring nearly every dimension of his body, including his shoes.
"OK. I assume the shoes will be white as well?" Markus asked Delic.
"I was going to go to Sora's for shoes." Delic said.
"Traitor! I have the best shoes!" Markus said with fake outrage. "Cannot be done. You get the shoes here or I am too depressed to tailor his suit." Delic laughed. "OK, OK. Whatever shoes you recommend then."
Markus laughed back and then shook Delic's hand. "It'll be done at 6, this I can promise you."
Delic nodded. "I'll come by at 6:30 then."
Delic turned at looked at Mikado. "You'll look like you belong standing next to me. Just need some accessories."
If you didn’t want me, why did you beg?

Talk about a change of character. Delic realized he had just discovered Mikado's trigger word.
"I don't know, Mikado. Even if you claim that's true, I have no way to be sure of it. I just don't think I want to..." Delic said, watching Mikado's face. He was so crestfallen for a second, and Delic knew he was onto something.
"I'll tell you what, if you tell me you'll be my kitten, I'll take you somewhere you've never even heard of, somewhere you've never dreamed of, somewhere you can't go unless you've already been there, somewhere you can't go unless you know its name and secret password, somewhere you won't hear of unless someone who has been there takes you there. Some place magical. And even when we get to the physical location we won't be there yet." Delic continued to watch Mikado's face carefully.
"You can live my life for one night. But only if you refer to yourself as my kitten the whole time. You don't have a name tonight, you are just Delic's Kitten. If you do that, I'll let you get a taste of the extraordinary you crave. Or, if you would rather be plain, vanilla, ordinary Mikado, you can be Mikado, and I'll find someone else to take." Delic felt a tingling sensation, and knew he needed to make a couple of phone calls to arrange this.
If you didn’t want me, why did you beg?

"Are you kidding? I'm much better. I'm much more handsome, I'm in better shape, I've got more style, more money... Heck, the only way I am similar to those guys is that we all find you attractive. You can't fault someone, even me, for wanting to enjoy your beauty. It'd be silly not to; like keeping a bottle a wine without drinking it, until it turns to vinegar." Delic chuckled as he spoke.
When they arrived at her place, he looked around, but if he thought anything negative, he didn't voice it and his face didn't show it. "I'll just wait patiently. The anticipation will be delightful."
Reaching down to turned on his music as she left, Delic sighed contently. He leaned against a wall, and closed his eyes, letting the music carry him away.

Delic smiled while she listened to the music, and when she spoke, he flicked the switch off. Covering the headphones with his hands, he slowly removed them and placed them around his neck.
"You want a set like these? Sorry, I'm afraid they are one of a kind, and I have no idea where they came from, except I was given them the same time as I was given my first suit. By father." He said with an apologetic shrug.
Putting his hand on her shoulder, he moved beside her so his arm was across her shoulder blades.
"I have excellent taste in everything, beautiful women especially." Delic said with a wink. "And you transcend the competition. I can tell, you are a delicacy if I ever saw one. But a woman as resplendent and enticing as you already knows how exquisitely ravishing she is, so I am I sure you've heard every mention of your elegant beauty and your shapely allure."
Delic paused, and then opened the door beside them, and led her inside.
"Reservations?" A stuffy man behind a podium asked.
"C'mon, baby, where is Fran? She always let's me in." Delic said with a playful laugh.
"She isn't here today." The man said stiffly.
"You'll still let me in though, right? Look how foxy the woman with me is!" Delic said.
"You need a... Sir?" The man frowned as Delic pulled out his phone.
"Hang on a moment." Delic said, putting his phone away again. Smiling, Delic pulled Sara in closer and gave her a light squeeze. A few seconds later the phone beside the man rang, and his frown deepened as he answered it.
"Yes? Yes... Yes, ma'am. Yes ma'am! Yes, ma'am. Yes, ma'am. I will. Good night." The man glared at Delic, but Delic just grinned wider.
"Right this way, sir. Ma'am." The man said, giving Sara a dirty look to match the one Delic had gotten.
Delic laughed and let go of Sara and followed the man. When they arrived at a table near the center of the room, Delic pulled out the chair for Sara.
"Your waitress will be with you shortly, Heiwajima-sama." The host said bitterly.
"No hard feelings, hey?" Delic said, but the man turned away and left without response.

“My headphones? They’re comfortable, and I like to listen to music when I’m not talking to beautiful people. Here, you wear them for a moment.” Delic took them off and put them on her head.
After a second of making sure they were on snugly, he flicked a switch on the box he was carrying and psychedelic jams started throbbing through the wire, and thumping out of the speakers.
The music wasn’t too loud, but somehow you could still feel the bass in all of your bones, and the guitar in your heart. Delic watched her face for a reaction, smiling at her.

“That’s so ordinary. Do you like ordinary things? I could have sworn... when I looked at you. I thought I saw someone who wanted... Are you boring?!” Delic looked disgusted
“That glint in your eye, when nobody was looking... I thought you wanted a real life, something fun... Ugh.” Delic stood up. “I despise ordinary.”
