Do the gods, when disguised as mortals, have the uncanny valley effect?

Okay, stick with me here- my evidence is drawn from the Iliad, where is says:

Which seems pretty uncanny valley to me? Like, the gods are disguised as mortals, but they can never perfectly mimic a mortal, as they are not mortal, they do not act the same way, try as they might. Something about them will always look off- too polished, too precise, not human enough.

I’d imagine there is something deeply unsettling about a god mimicking a mortal. Enough that those who know what to look for, the gait in their walk, the look of power in their eyes, can tell the divine from the mortal.
