Asthana Sibling Stuff :)

When Ibrahim comes down with Roman to see Levi and invite him to his wedding, he and Levi had to have a big chat about going back home, Levi is like 😬 bc he fought with parents so long ago and it seems a mess to just bring up so suddenly.

Ibra wants levi to be his best man but levi is sure that will cause a ruckus back at home, but ibra insists he won't let them give him trouble this is his wedding dammit! Groomzilla ibra using his powers for good :) (also roman will be ring bearer i think hehe)

So anyway they have their chat and Roman is just left with izzy and nate and lucky for awhile- roman hasn't had a lot of exposure to fun punky ppl b4 but he likes them a lot bc "they're weird- I like em". Used to alot of more pompous ppl it's a breath of fresh air! They have talks about maybe roman coming back to visit after the wedding once his school is on break and can have a fun summer time hanging with levi and pals- nice to see his brother when it's not sucha stressy time!

But when the asthanas (and nate as Levi's +1) leave for the UK there's a development in the mix n match household-- whoops surprise its baby nico!! Needless to say the house will be a bit busy for a good while so roman visit plans get pushed aside for a bit..

Fast forward 2-3 yrs or so nico is a toddler and everyone seems more settled and roman gets to visit for a good while!! Its nice and freeing not being 1. At school and 2. Under parents watchful eyes so he can let loose, having some fun making friends! And..learning gender?? 🤔 Tbh Roman struggling w identity is a long stretching thing and makes him v impatient to find out but big brother levi and friends will try to soothe his worries :,)) take ur time buddy! Of course roman wants to have a life changing summer like in the movies.. so that's pressure LMAO

Unforto there isn't a lot of kids Roman's age (15/16) but Drew's brother EZ is a few years older so they hang out a bit. EZ is a clueless str8 boy so he says some clumsy things but besides that they have fun!! Also Jax's lil bro Simon is 13, a lil younger but they get along :)

OK quick here's some shenanigans- EZ gets roman into wrestlemania type stuff and they want to act those out hdbdh dumb.. playing around on the trampoline wrassling and launching little roman so high up in the air!!! EZ brings out a folding chair to pretend smack roman but drew has doubts about that and confiscates that, whew!! Don't need to get that kid actually hurt hdndn.

They play some sports in the yard and have some confusion about American v uk Football... (imagine that meteor??? Meatier??? Video lmao) also roman is bad sport at video games. Roman wants to Win please 😔 gotta have him sit it out and sulk while true gamers EZ and Simon play ;,))

Also EZ and roman get v high one time-- roman was like ohya no worries I've done this b4-- but it rly hits him this time he gets very silly. (He absolutely Does one of those whoa that'd be So Crazy if I was a Girl righttt wow imagine... Very subtle.well it is subtle bc EZ doesn't pick up onit🤣) Of course roman isn't in trouble for getting high but gets a lil paranoid-- but it's ok bc ibra was hanging out with Nate and company at the time too and they got high as well. Ibras like ok ur gonna laugh-- 😆 but levi and roman are like???sir is this allowed ur the responsible one?? But they do all laff it off eventually and its all good :)

Also levi and Drew end up hanging out bc of their sibs being pals and thats a fun dynamic! Levi is usually v teasingly flirty with Drew but if they're hanging out at Drew's parents place with the siblings that's a big no-no... levi will behave himself i promise!! They get into an all out war with a garden hose one time, very fun :,)

Ok ok also Roman being here also presents the gang with practicing parenting things they can use for their kids down the line and it makes me emotional about it! Roman carefully asks the gang lil questions about identity and giving advice is really hard??? But they do it 😤

Levi has a hard time being a disciplinarian he just wants to be the Fun One but he gives Roman a talking to about the dangers of crushing on older straight boys... he knows he's gotta step up in that way!!! Sorry roman but No. Bad. :,))) Roman gets so embarrassed at Levi's sudden stern tone but hopefully Levi can smooth it out!!! A learning moment for both of them,, God knows that when nico is a teen he'll need to have that talk too ahhh... thank u Roman for giving Levi the chance to practice being dad figure :,)))

an Asthana sibling portrait~ surprise, Levi has siblings!!! may or may not be an actual surprise but Levi is indeed the middle child :’) Roman is 9ish yrs younger than Levi and Ibrahim is big bro, 4 yrs older! 

 Levi has been kinda estranged from his parents, he left for the U.S at 17 so he wasn’t the closest to his brothers. but 6 years later Ibra takes initiative,  bringing Roman along with him to visit Levi and to invite Levi to his wedding! for some extra context this comic takes place around that time :”) 

it’s a lil awkward but they’re working on it :) he/him for all of them but lil bud Roman has some gender feelings ahead of him, good luck bb! i just love them all :’)

this question had me hemming and hawing for longer than necessary, but maybe Matthias!! they don’t sing very loud or confidently but i think their voice would be very sweet! POV you catch their voice drifting through the breeze while they sing softly to their garden, you cry.

while i was drawing that big ship drawing i was thinkin about what characters my ocs would main as in video games. but for simplicity’s sake lets just talk about what everyone would play in Mario Kart.and by everyone i mean who i can think of at the top of my head, i cant possibly talk about ev er yon e …

Herbie: toad. he makes funny noises and Herbie likes to mimic them.

Dean: Bowser, Donkey Kong or Wario. they’re the biggest buffest guys and Dean likes em!!

Rudy- any of the princesses would be ok! but mainly Peach.

Mitzi: Toadette or Birdo!

Adrienne: Boo or Dry Bones would suit them (is dry bones in mario kart??)

Kyri: yoshi, of course!!! if someone takes yoshi he will complain loudly but he’ll be happy with Luigi its fine.

For some reason i was thinking of the different kinda selfies that my ocs would take. I’m on a Big Ship kick so thats who I was thinking of.

So Mitzi and Rudy are the kind to do their makeup and wear cute clothes and take very nice selfies. Dean does the opposite and takes selfies with the bare minimum of clothing. (Or none why not) i dont thing Adrienne or Herbie are known to really take selfies of themselves but they may pop in a few of their partners selfies. And Rudy would take cute candids of Herbie playing music or writing and its nice. (Herbie is shy and kinda down on himself but when he sees how cute he is he feels better haha)

and then there’s Adrienne. I feel like they always look the Grungiest in photos. Unbrushed hair, laying upside down on the floor watching a nature documentary. Sitting in the shower downing some vodka. Dont get me wrong they would be great images. But there is different sides of the spectrum. Adrienne is on the farthest end somewhere.

I’m not sure exactly how to put it into words but i wanted to talk about rudys gender identity!!! For a while i was think in hes a demiboy so like, mostly boy but Something Else also. But I’m thinking he’s id-ing more as a girl sometimes! So I think genderfluid is a better label. He/him pronouns still, though i think in private settings being referred to as she/her would make Rudy just swoon….

Anyway I bring this up bc i was imaginin Rudy telling Dean about a date he went on with mitzi and Dean was like “aw thats nice… Having a gf must be nice!!” And Rudy is like…. “What if…. I told you that you do have a gf sometimes? ://3c ”

Dean is kinda confused for a quick moment but Rudy is like. Points to self. That me. And Dean is just like “ohhh!!!! Ohhh of course!!! I love my sometimes gf so much…. My gf Rudy is the best gf…..” and Rudy is very happy and validated by his silly boyfriend. :,)))

Beach episode, the continued

It’s that time again, to talk about ocs at the beach! This time its about Cece, Emma, Dark and Kyri!

The twins like to play on shore, like making sand castles or sculptures or something! Also I can see them bringing huge squirt guns and having a big battle, causing a ruckus…. Speaking of a ruckus, Kyri probably does that thing where he messes up someone’s Sun screen so that there’s a secret picture in there when they get a tan or burn haha…

Dark and Cece like to spend most of their time in the water. Dark loves to surf and Cece, my dear mermaid, loves diving under the waves.

Emma and Kyri i think would enjoy going out on the water with their respective significant others!! Imagine Kyri awkwardly trying to stand up on the surf board, with Dark in the water making sure the board is steady. Kyri falls off a few times so he resigns to just sitting on the board with Dark as they paddle around.

Also please imagine Emma clinging to Cece as she swims… Emma would ask Cece to dive as deep as she can and see how long she can hold her breath! Emma can’t hold it for long of course But i think Cece can share some air with her so they can just hang out underwater. Dreamy.

After a day of activity i think theyd all like to just lay on the beach and watch the sunset. Or if they still have some energy, they can do volleyball! Also Cece and Emma might go on the boardwalk and roller blade and skateboard, aw! And if Dark brought his bike Kyri could ride on the handlebars..

There’s a lot of fun activities they could get up to!! Wow. I lvoe them.

Beach episode

Thanks @dreary-weary-werewolves for requesting i talk about beachy oc things! I want to talk about everyone eventually but ill start off with The Big Ship!!

Dean loves the water and likes to go out far and play in the big waves!!! Herbie doesn’t want him to go alone, even though hes nervous about getting knocked over. But its ok, Dean takes care of him and they have a good time.

Herbie likes to stay on shore most of the time though, sticking his toes in the sand and playing a bit of ukulele! Adri likes to nap and do a bit of reading so the soft chill music is very welcome. Both Mitzi and Rudy love to sunbathe, and Rudy takes pictures of everyone!! Also lots of cute selfies with him and his girlfriend…. Do him and Mitzi match outfits??? That’s cute.

Mitzi also likes to put her feet in the water and taking a nice stroll along the shoreline!  She and Adri can habe a nice quiet and intimate walk together without the others at the end of the day. how nice.

Even though Adri is p chill most of the time i can see them getting rowdy with the boys!! Like wrestling with Dean in the sand, and smooching in the sand after said wrassling.

Also what if Dean convinces everyone to play chicken in the shallows!! Dean will have Rudy on his shoulders and Herbie will have Adri. Mitzi is on shore acting as referee, maybe recording it on her phone too!! Adri is pretty scrappy and can knock Rudy off with little effort :.) but thats ok its all in good fun, also i dont think Dean and Herbie are taking it too seriously! They probably get distracted and just keep smoochin, you have your other partners on your shoulders ya silly boys!!

At the end of the day everyone is very sleepy, and don’t wanna go anywhere, going home would be a lot of effort. They probably all jsut pile up in mitzis car and sleep until the morning… Good babes.

Here’s a tidbit about the cowboy au since I probably won’t end up drawing it anytime soon:

So everyone in town rly likes garland. Like I imagine that when his birthday rolls around he receives a bunch of gifts and praise for being such a good sheriff. And then on the flipside, Lucky doesn’t get much thanks for what he does.

Garland feels kinda bad about that but when he talks about it with Lucky, Lucky says that he wouldn’t have it any other way. He doesn’t mind doing the dirty jobs that need to be done so that garland can be the town favorite.

Then garland hits him with a, “well if it’s any consolation, you’re my favorite” :,3c

Hi I’m here with more cowboy town tidbits:

Levi hangs out mostly at the saloon, and every few weeks he gets a call (??? Let’s imagine that there’s like. Basic telephones in this imaginary time period the au takes place in), around the same time of evening. He’s often seen writing in a notebook, but whenever anyone comes to him while he’s using it he’ll smile and close it. He claims that its because he doesn’t like others reading his songs when they’re in progress, but one may wonder if that’s what he’s actually writing down.

Another thing, the current mayor has run for office uncontested for a while now. There’s whisperings about some fowl play but maybe no one is just wanting to take the position? Dante’s friends have suggested that he try to run, since his saloon is such an important establishment, and everyone likes him. But he isn’t comfortable with splitting attention between the office and the saloon, he doesn’t want either of them to fall in disrepair for his lack of focus. He /could/ ask his wife to take over things but she enjoys traveling so much, he doesn’t wanna tie her down with this sudden responsibility.

But if something were to happen to the mayor, and if Dante found someone to take over the saloon, may be that could be an option. I’m imagining, maybe one day Dean +the big ship take on the saloon, since they’re all there most of the time anyway? But who knows. That won’t be for a while.
