Hey there I just wanna say that I fell deeply in love with ur game, your art style, your characters, and the world u created even tho I just discovered it today❤️❤️❤️ im definitely glad i found this! Im just wondering, if you arent too busy, of course, what is ur process of creating the pixelated version or game version of your art? I would love to hear from you 😊❤️❤️❤️

Thank yooou! I don’t know if I have too much of a process, but I use three methods. For sprites that are big, like trees, buildings, etc, I usually start painting with colors as if it was a regular drawing, and I slowly clean up the mess later:

For characters and smaller sprites, I usually draw the lineart first:

And for really big maps, it is sometimes easier to sketch them in paper first, and draw on top of it:

Also, to draw these sprites I use Aseprite (which is criminally cheap) and it has pixel-perfect lines, gradients, palettes, a timeline with onion skin, etc. I really recommend it!
