i am a body removal technician. not a funeral director. i just pick up dead people.
Don't wanna be here? Send us removal request.
Note
what does your job entail? also what are the prerequisites to the job position?
I literally just pick up dead people from residential homes (if not a murder or suicide), nursing homes, morgues, hospitals, etc.
Oh also delivering decedents/caskets to funeral homes for services.
No prerequisites besides a drivers license to be a driver. Funeral directors and embalmers need to go to mortuary school tho.

Why do people act so afraid of dead bodies? The death isn't contagious, its still the same person.

Dear nursing home staff/nurses:
Your residents will die one day. Be prepared to help the removal tech.

Tips for when someone dies at home:
The person removing them may not be a director, dont try to ask anything beyond the transfer and the next steps
DONT TRY TO DISCUSS PRICES/SERVICES
They wont be going to the funeral home in a hearse
They will not be cremated immediately
DO NOT MOVE THE COT
Ask before helping transfer the body
Dont take your anger out on the removal technician. Theyre here to help
We dont treat the deceased like objects. Theyre still people and we treat them as such.
DO. NOT. TOUCH. THE. COT.
Literally anyone can sign the documents. I just need a signature
IM NOT A DIRECTOR. I JUST MOVE DEAD BODIES.
