You know that movie/show trope where a character is hesitating on killing themselves and the protagonist tries to help saying "if you really wanted to die you'd have jumped already"? And that trope where the protagonists loved ones slap the suicidal person and say "uuuu I love you don't scare me like that" or do something equally awful? Well I'm strangling all the writers who made those scenes like Darth Vader rn
