struggles with feeling inadequate since he can't use his powers without being manic/depressive (which miguel helps him with)

often underestimated due to his quiet nature

VERY troubled past but he's either too cocky or too quiet for anyone to guess

super chill aaand incredibly resourceful and intelligent

also weird not scientifically accurate hc: his hair changes color/length/style between eli, sentry, and void - bc i said so

miguel diaz - falcon

also underestimated because of his kind and silly personality

very ambitious person who's hard on himself to reach his goals

works hard to prove himself as the new falcon and not make a mistake (which eli, when not in sentry/void mode, always reassures him about)

struggling to adjust to this new world and time (he's from 1960s earth-828 but now in 2027 earth-616)

finds a lot of comfort and familiarity in demetri, who's somewhat an old soul and sci fi nerd himself (they get each other's niche references and are open to teaching each other more things)

ALWAYS overlooked and objectified for his looks but when he's not annoying demetri or mr fantastic on purpose, he's actually really helpful in the lab and in space (and fighting strategies)

eli and him have a weird fascination with each other's powers (and the others too) as two people who haven't interacted with many superhumans before

they're t4t, john gets a lot of dysphoria even though he objectively is like. the straightest passing white dude on the block. angelina doesn't pass quite as well, but she's intimidating enough that most people won't mess with her even if they assume anything

angelina has chronic leg pain and walks with a cane sometimes when her pain flares

after their marriage, they go back to France and actually spend a month or two there together getting to know each other without all the betting drama

john bakes angelina fresh bread every week and angelina makes scones

picnics become a tradition for them

angelina kissing the bullet that john was shot with. something something the intimacy of violence ect. maybe she gets it turned into a pendant, it seems like something she'd do

sometimes in the middle of the night john will wake up crying from nightmares of pheasants, bullets and the two Earls

they actually fought a lot after their marriage before they went back to France and took the time to learn each others intricacies without the looming threat of their union

definitely the kind of couple to roleplay in bed (I'M SORRY I TELL IT LIKE IT IS)

they're the kind of couple who are both kind of terrible for each other's flaws but also bring out the best in each other and will devote themselves to a loving marriage completely. it may not be healthy but it sure is happy

sometimes they smoke on the roof together, even though the bullet wound damage leaves john coughing and wheezing
