dad was a hunter/mill worker, mom was from quebec and taught elementary school french (law knows a little but not a lot)

had an early fascination with death, initially obsessed with dead animals and taxidermy and growing into a fixation on goresites and irl gore. gradually got desensitised to death as a concept as a result

had a. mild interest in true crime through high school especially and briefly entertained the idea of bringing a gun to school

14 in 2005 so literally the prime time to be emo

put a blue streak in their bangs (sharpie, their dad threatened to cut it off if they did anything permanent) and cut themselves to morrissey and depeche mode

wore a lot of black after dying all their comfy clothes with a dylon pod, but they didn't go much further than that

moved out/was kicked out after both their sisters went to college and their dad "playfully" threatened to shoot them ("out back like a damn dog") if they didn't do something with their life (since they went full NEET after graduating high school)

left in the middle of the night and never looked back, never kept in contact with their parents, lily found their facebook but they don't talk like. at all lol

worked at the same factory and lived in the same apartment (cheap cus of the mould) for seven years :) it's fine :)

Autistic Lawrence - why do I love this headcanon so much?

Okay, how do I start with this? I think first I'll give a quick explanation about myself: I'm neurodivergent (I received a report of ADHD and I'm under observation for autism, I probably am) and I have a huge hyperfocus on boyfriend to death lol

I think it's interesting that I mention this first to show that I'm analyzing this headcanon according to my life experience, so let's move on to the signs that Lawrence presents!

• Difficulty making eye contact

Let's start with the main thing that causes the fandom to have this headcanon: the little eye contact. Some autistic people have difficulty looking people in the eye, The reason for this is due to difficulty concentrating or because of sensory issues. However, not all autistic people do this, as some tolerate intense sensory activities

• Hyper fixation

It is extremely clear that Lawrence has an extremely hyper focus on plants and nature in general. Just looking at his room makes you notice this.

• cognitive rigidity

This observation is not talked about much, but I managed to notice it in the route of our dear LawLaw. With M/C's kidnapping, this certainly changes his routine as the kidnapper in that situation. Especially at the beginning of his route, you notice that he is completely nervous, one of the reasons for this could be the sudden change in routine

• Sensory problems

This is more of a reflection I made than something actually solid in the game. The songs that play on Lawrence's route are usually calm and comfortable, this may reflect that he has sensitive hearing. Another thing is his clothes, which are comfortable and loose, which may show that he has sensory problems regarding the fabric of his clothes

• difficulty expressing feelings using facial expressions

One of the things I noticed was that Lawrence has very limited sprites, and he almost always has that neutral expression on his face. This may show that, despite having feelings, he has difficulty on expressing them

There are still a lot of things I would like to say about this headcanon, but I'm too lazy lol
