so, daniel was born and raised in nyc & he grew up with his mother, who is a fashion designer, and her girlfriend, top surgeon of the hospital she works in

his father stayed in south korea and never rly cared abt him ?? he’s also a ceo of some company that daniel doesn’t give a shit about

he had a p good childhood, his mothers looked after him and loved him dearly, so he had everything he wanted, but when he got into high school, he was bullied for having a lesbian mother, kept threatening him and his family, called him names, saying that his ‘fucked up family turned him gay too’

that’s when he learned to stand up for himself and ppl he cared for, so all dem troubles began: he started getting into dumb fights, stealing, seeking out revenge

his father didn’t really help either. he was furious for being dumped by his ex wife for a woman so he kept trying to make her feel guilty about it and even abused her a few times when he came to america to ‘try and have a bondin time w his son’

daniel obvs couldn’t take it and threw in some punches at his father, took a few hits from him as well and pretty much fucked everything up

to make matters worse, all his stupid shit he did in the past was brought up to the surface and this bad press made everything difficult for his parents, so his mother told him to get his shit together or he wouldn’t be welcome back in their home anymore

which was p fair, really, and daniel tried to get back on track but all his friends turned out to be some shitty criminal wannabes and somehow he got involved in this identity theft which ended up in him having millions of dollars and this fear to get caught

he wasted all that money on alcohol, drugs, partying, trying to live that independent life bc he knew that his mothers would be very disappointed w the self that he was back then

honestly he’s never had a proper goal in his life ?? he knows that he’s somewhat interested in fashion but he’d never follow his mother’s footsteps and he doesn’t really want anything to do w business

ok honestly he liked science in high school and wanted to be a marine biologist when he was a kid but he believes it’s too late for that

daniel is that kinda guy who is rude and savage almost all the time but he’s also a big softy at heart. he doesn’t like showing his true feelings and hates it when people think he cares even when he actually does care, so he puts up this wall and pretends to be someone he’s not

he’s always super confident and loves adventures. he’s pretty much down for everything bc he wants to experience everything in life. not ur typical fuckboy even though he looks like one, he’s actually understanding and knows when not to cross a line when it comes to relationships and just conversations in general

bisexual af but hasn’t had too many relationships w any gender tbh?? probably bc he doesn’t let ppl in easily and when he does, he usually ends up disappointing them
